BOB'S HANDYMAN & REPAIR

After a free consultation, Bob & his assistant arrived as scheduled, ontime. They carefully covered the floors with tarps, and wore shoe covers to keep things clean. They then proceeded to complete my task list in an orderly, efficient manner. When finished, they cleaned up everything - leaving the house in cleaner condition than it was beforehand. We re going to sell our house, and I especially liked a couple of Bob's suggestions. He does this type of work all the time, and has good ideas that should help it sell quickly, but without too much investment/cost. Bob is admittedly not in the "quick and cheap" fix category. But, he is pretty quick, and all the work he did was first-class, as if I intended to stay here. So, if you believe in the "do-it-right" & "you get what you pay for" mantras, give Bob a call. A couple of tips: 1) Bob only works INSIDE the house, and he does not do painting - but he'll refer you to a friend who does. 2) He has a 3 hour minimum, but he carefully goes over all your tasks beforehand, estimating the probable time involved. 3) He does NOT markup for materials - he sells them to you at his cost.

When I moved into my new home, I needed a dog door installed right away. I chose Bob based on location and the great reviews. I was not disappointed. Bob and his assistant are exceptionally talented and professional (and had no problems working in the company of two large dogs). They did such a good job with the dog door that I immediately hired them again to put up bathroom fixtures and swap out numerous electrical switches and outlets. Bob also attended to other odd jobs around the house (item stuck in garbage disposal; patching wall; securing loose toilets, etc.); he makes sure you get your money's worth! I am thrilled to have found such wonderful handyman in my new neighborhood!!

Handy Bob and his assistant, young Jeff, were fantastic. They arrived on time, Bob walked through my list with me while Jeff setup their equipment, and they spent three hours knocking out everything we had planned. Because Bob made his expectations clear up front (you get an e-mail with his usual rate and work habits, etc.) and we had talked through my needs, there were no surprises. He delivered exactly as promised. I wouldn't call him cheap (there is a three-hour minimum and I was charged the "two-man rate" due to Jeff's helpful presence), but he did great work, and I'll use him again. A totally fair, totally excellent experience. And, for those who care as much as I do, he respected my carpets and floors while he was here, wearing booties and using tarps. No complaints.

I use Bob regularly for handyman help. He is very efficient and the work is spot on. He is smart and experienced at solving problems with a strong design capability as well. I typically bundle several small problems for him too solve in a single visit. He is a key contributor to my house which I like to maintain in tiptop condition.

Bob was absolutely awesome! One of the friendliest and most relational repair men I've ever met. He was completely clear about each repair, the parts, labor, time it would take, options, etc. I helped him out a bit on the projects so got to know him even better. I plan to make Bob our permanent go-to handymen for all home projects and repairs I can't do myself.

In a word, awesome! Bob is extremely polite, professional and helpful. So easy to talk to and work with. I am very pleased with the work that he and his helper, Jeff, did for us today. I would definitely recommend Bob. A pleasure to meet and have in our home performing those repairs.

Bob is the man. I used to be a carpenter that worked on high-end houses, so I have high expectations for my own house. I love doing handy jobs but simply don't have the time to do them any more. Bob is the real deal, and he takes his craft seriously. I highly, highly recommend him to anyone.

Bob and his assistant were very friendly, on time, and professional. He cared about my house, and put down tarps and other protection for my carpet. He was very professional about offering solutions to repair each item. Then he went to work--the work he did was FANTASTIC and the repairs make the house look beautiful! He offered an especially innovative solution to fixing my outdoor dryer vent, which I really appreciate. Bob provided excellent service, and I will definitely call Bob again for any repairs I need around the house.

Bob and assistant arrived right on time & laid down drop cloths to keep the area they were working in clean. Started working right away. Job took a little longer than expected due to thightness of the location of one of the fans. Installation was done neatly & to code. Bob & his assistant Jeff were friendly, courteous & professional in doing the job. After job was completed Bob explained the details of the installation and had me inspect & use the fans, lights, etc. to be sure it was done to my satisfaction. He also pointed out that if I found any problem with the job, he'd take care of it. Love the quietness of our new Panasonic bathroom fans!!

Handybob and his assistant showed up on time and they did a GREAT job with removing the ugly old counter tops and fixtures. I preordered granite counter tops, new sinks and fixtures for them to install. During the installation, we discovered one of my drains was broken. Bob was able to open the dry wall and repair the pipe in an hour! The whole job toke approx 7 hours and my bathroom look fabulous. Bob is not only handy but also very professional. He is one of the best out there! Will use him again.

Bob did an amazing job for us wiring and installing four ceiling fans in our home. He is an excellent communicator and extremely responsive to any questions we had prior and during the installation. Not only was his work of high quality, but he did an exceptional job cleaning up. It was as if he was never in our house. We will continue to use Bob for all of our handyman needs.

Bob and his assistant Martin were prompt and courteous! Pricing and details were laid out perfectly ahead of time! They did exactly what I wanted in a very efficient and professional manner-even coming up with an alternate way to install my ceiling medallions when it seemed they may not work as I had intended! Bob goes out of his way to make sure nothing is damaged and not to leave any mess. He uses booties and puts tarps down as well as covering anything that could get damaged. I am very impressed and so happy I found him!!!! He takes great pride in his work and we plan to use him more in the near future! Would highly recommend Bob's Handyman and Repair.

Bob called me to schedule a time that would work for us. He took the time to tell me all about how he works so he set the expectations on what he does and doesn't do. I appreciate that so much. He confirmed by email and phone before he came. He showed up on time and we walked the office together for what needed to be worked on in what order. He again set the expectations and communicated clearly. He had his co-worker get started right away. He brought me in when he had questions and he finished on time, cleaned up and read through the invoice with me and answered questions. The work quality was very good! It could only be better if it was designer/white glove. He is no-nonsense, doesn't waste anytime, has a great attitude and he is qualified. I chose him because he was licensed, bonded and insured and experienced. I'll choose him again because he is a good person and does great work! I highly recommend Bob's handyman & Repair! Thank you! Perfectly. Bob and Martin are very respectful, don't get upset by the four barking dogs ( I try to keep them quiet). Do excellent tag teaming to get the most out of my money. I will have them back whenever I need help and Bob will agree to come.

Bob was prompt in answering our emails with the info we needed to hire him. We had him on two seperate occaisons, BOTH times he was on time, He was VERY good at respecting our property,(floor coverings, booties etc.) and did a GREAT job of cleaning up after everything he did. When we were pointing out some of the projects we wanted done, on several occasions he offered an alternate solution (costing us less, and also less for him) that we went with, the results were better then our original plans. We would definately reccomend him to neighbors and friends, and plan on using his services again.

I just bought a 1960's house in Mission Viejo and have gone through various contractors and multiple handyman, finally I found someone I can trust. The quality of the work Bob did installing our pendant lights and kitchen faucet was exceptional. I had to leave for work related reasons and left him and his assistant Martin in the house and they did the job as if I was looking over their shoulder the whole. I was shocked at the cleanliness of their work and overall professionalism. I won't be looking around for another handyman as long as I live here. I can't say enough, I was thoroughly impressed with the work they did!

Bob was very professional, diligent, competent, and efficient! Before starting the work, we went over the items and he explained what will be involved with each item. He told us a couple of items on our list are not his expertise and we appreciated his honesty. For all other items he did a great job! He was also very pleasant and meticulous! Bob's hourly rate is high, but he was fast and we were happy with the result of his work.

Bob and his assistant Martin did a great job getting everything on our kitchen remodeling list done! First off, they are very friendly, and they were right on time. His truck has all the tools and parts he needs to get the job done. I did need a new faucet, but he picked it up during his lunch hour so I did not get charged for his travel time. They installed a new kitchen faucet with all new plumbing below. He installed a new garbage disposal and gave me advice about whether or not to have an overflow valve. He hooked up our dishwasher. He hooked up our range on our new granite countertops. The hole in the granite was a little big so Bob added some wood to make it fit snuggly. He installed a new faucet in the laundry room. He repaired a loose faucet in the bathroom. He fixed the phone plug. Martin changed out 10 electrical outlets, some to improve the look of the kitchen and to fix some that were no longer working. Bob is very knowledgeable and gave us honest advice about everything we asked him. While Bob was here working, my husband was trying to make our cable work better and Bob gave him some good ideas about how to set things up to work better. Bob and Martin worked quickly ? I was amazed at how much they got done! They left everything clean. I?ve already started a list of things for him to do the next time he comes out. I would recommend him highly!

He is wonderful, he is fabulous. He's so great, he's so well prepared, he's got the right screws, the right tools. He's clean, he's great. I highly recommend him. Very organized, very capable. If one tool wasn't good he had another one.

If you're too busy and need a reliable and good handyman, please contact Bob! If you're anything like me who pays close attention to details, you know sometimes you feel as if (1) you need to do it yourself, or (2) just cant really trust anybody nor feel they will do a good job. As you can see from the list of jobs Bob did for me, he obviously passed the test! I will not bore you with an elaborate review but I will try to be brief and to the point noted in the following: 1.) First Impressions-I liked Bob from the start and felt as if he knew what he was talking about and I didn't feel as if he was trying to take advantage of me or anything of that nature. He's a nice guy and I've never really had any issues. 2.) Communication-I had no issues communicating with him and setting up jobs. I'm big on if I take the time to contact you out of my busy day, I expect some kind of response in a reasonable amount of time. 3.) Job Cleanliness-Bob will allow enough time to set-up and clean which in my opinion is necessary for any handyman or contractor. Nothing is more unprofessional/annoying than paying for people to come and not pick up after themselves nor take care of the place while working. Bob was great and made sure he protected your place and always cleaned up after the job. 4.) Quality of Work-Bob did a great job on just about everything I mentioned. I could elaborate on all the details but that would take forever. There were some minor stuff that could have been "slightly" better, but in the grand scheme of things, trying to get everything done in a short amount of time and dealing with me is no easy task. Was I satisfied? Yes which is why I hired him for more jobs. Was everything perfect? Not quite but the majority (greater than 95%) of the work was done spot-on or near perfect. In my opinion, having a few minor things not go as planned (or come out exactly as maybe you had in mind) is part of the job, and if you consider everything that was done in my home, I thought Bob did a great Job! 5.) Price-Initially I was a little unsure on the price and you could maybe go either way as if it's a tad high. But, you get what you pay for. In the end, if you consider (1) how much time he saves you, (2) quality of work, and (3) feeling as if you can trust someone working on your place, I think its a fair/decent/good price! I put $0.00 for the cost of services because I cannot remember how much I've paid. So to be fair to Bob I put $0.00 so I'm not misleading anyone. I know for sure the above services were greater than $1,500.00. 6.) Other items-Bob was always on time, and got back to me when I needed him or had questions. His workers Martin/Jeff are pretty cool as well and are good at what they do. I feel as if I can trust Bob, and that he is meticulous. He always took the time to explain the details of the job which I appreciated! At the end of the day, you will be satisfied if you hired Bob! I have no doubt I'll hire him again!

Everything was completed well. He and his partner also cleaned up after the projects were completed. Because I hired him for 3 hours and he finished a little bit early, he volunteered to do more work until the time was up. I like how he worked meticulously, efficiently, and professionally.
