BOB'S HANDYMAN & REPAIR

Was a bit late, but called with plenty of notice so we took a long lunch :-) Job was done quickly, with great workmanship, and most importantly, he left everything clean. I really like that he knows his own limits, so he doesn't get into over his head. Even brought his own vacuum.

He was very nice but he does not do faucet installation as it was a smaller job.

We had Bob come out and give an estimate on putting in new baseboards and fixing a glass cabinet door. We were happy with what he had to say and scheduled an appointment for him to do the work. He was very punctual which is greatly appreciated-hardly is a handyman on time. He started working right away, was very organized and didn't fool around. There was a little mishap with the amount of baseboards we needed but he remedied that a got right back to it. There were unforeseen problems with moisture in the bathroom which he alerted us to and did what he could with what he had and within the time constraints, letting us know what type of future work would be needed. He kept us abreast of the situation completely. Although it took longer than originally anticipated it was mostly due to random problems that cropped up which he dealt with accordingly. We scheduled another time for him to come out and do the repairs to the moisture-damaged areas in a few weeks. He was absolutely professional, neat, had complete attention to detail, beautiful work and very fair in what he charged in the end. We are happy that now we have someone to call that we can depend on in the future.

Everything was great. I called Bob and told him what the job was and he told me how long it would take and how much it would cost. We scheduled a time and on the day of the appointment he was there right on time. The job went smoothly, he finished it in the time he had quoted (maybe a little less even). After the job he cleaned everything up and left it just like it was before. I found Bob to be very professional and knowledgeable, will definitely use him in the future.

Bob was very professional from the beginning. He responded quickly to my initial phone call. He provided a realistic free estimate for the work to be done. Upon completion, he emailed a PDF invoice to me to pay against. I really like this. I highly recommend Bob's Handyman.

I contacted Bob by email during the Christmas holiday season. I didn't expect a quick reply, but he was very responsive. I was able to speak with him and describe the problem. Bob clearly explained how he worked and what I could expect from his services. He was also very clear about what he was capable of working on and what he wasn't. We agreed on a time for him to come by and showed up exactly when we agreed. I had purchased a replacement bracket system and asked him to install it. After a couple of attempts, he realized the replacement bracket wasn't sized properly. Fortunately he was able to repair the existing bracket system using his mobile shop, his van. Bob was an absolute professional and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a great handyman.

I had a new kitchen faucet, new bath faucet, outdoor motion sensor light fixture installed, and my loose dishwasher and a loose drawer were fixed in a few hours. Bob did a great job.

Bob completed all of my repair projects in 3 hours. Since my husband is disabled and can no longer make household repairs, I have been waiting for family members to have time to help out. No more - I will call Bob again for any home repairs I need to have done. This is the first time I have used a handyman. I found a great one on Angie's list and I don't need to look any further. I was very happy with his work. It is so nice to have everything working properly again.

Bob arrived on time, reviewed the tasks to be done and methodically proceeded to complete each project. He was professional with his explanation of each job. He supplied an invoice and asked for future business which I would gladly do again!

Bob has become our go-to guy for just about anything we need to have done to the house. He came out and quickly and efficiently hammered them all out in about an hour and half, much quicker than we thought when we drew up the list.Handymen are usually a little flakey so it was refreshing to find a capable one who can get the job done quickly while the clock is ticking. We'll definitely use Bob again.

The installation of the chandelier was the biggest challenge that we had. The location of the old wiring was in the middle of an exposed cross-beam above the stairs. But that's not where we wanted to hang the chandelier. So our fear was that the ceiling would need to be cut and patched which would potentially become noticeable. Bob cut a perfect hold in the ceiling and mounted a new electrical junction box behind it. When he was done, the ceiling was flawless. No sign of any disturbance whatsoever. He also installed a 3-way Lutron programmable dimmer system that involved a primary and a secondary. We had an intermittent can light in our living room ceiling. Bob replaced it with a new can and new trim kit. We had a 13' wide x 8' high wall in our dining room that was covered with full mirrors. Since my wife didn't want me to slice myself in half, she convinced me to hire somebody to remove them. My first call was to a glass company that wanted more than $300. A second glass company wanted the same. So I started looking at handymen to do the job. The highest quote from a handyman was $245. Still WAY too high for the job. Bob came in and removed the mirrors in one hour. And since he charges by the hour, the cost was only $65. The toilet in our 1st floor half-bath rocked back and forth a bit. Bob removed it, installed a new wax ring, and re-installed the toilet with the proper shims to make it perfectly stable. Very quick and clean job. As with the mirrored wall, it only took him an hour. I highly recommend Bob for all of your handyman needs. He is honest, professional, personable, reasonably priced, punctual, extremely clean ... I could go on. But you get the idea.

He was very thorough, professional, cleaned up, didn't make a big mess, punctual, honest, straightforward and dependable. Every step was explained so I could make decisions and move things along. He was very conscious of the time and didn't waste any time. He was pleasant and small talk was nice but not too much. I was very pleased with his work and feel better that some of my projects are crossed off my list. I would definitely recommend Bob to friends/family for their repairs and I will likely have him come back to work on some other projects I have that will require more time.

Went on the Angies list and found "Bob's Handyman & Repair" listed as a "A" company in my area. Called and left message with the company's answering service. Mr. Bob Fletcher, the owner called back the next day I told him what I needed done and was even afraid that the job might be to small to take on as a job. Mr Fletcher was professional over the telephone and was delighted to help and gave a short history of his company and his work ethic. Mr. Fletcher assured me that no job is too small for his company that he would be happy to come out and do the job. He also told me what his repair rates were over the phone and his Company's creed of quality work, fair pricing and customer service. I made an appointment to come out and do the work. On the day of work, with an apppiontment time of 3 PM, I was pleasntly pleased when Mr Fletcher called to say that he come to my house earlier than expected (which was nice) and showed up in a clean professional looking van, and professional looking uniform work shirt and asked if we would like to have him wear shoe cloth booty's before entering our house? None needed I told him, but I appreciated his concern for keeping clean. I let my wife tell him what she wanted done and where she wanted her lamp placed in our masterbedroom. Unlike other Handyman services that I have used in the past, where they have to go to a local hardware store to get your supplies for your job, Mr. Fletcher of "Bob's Handyman & Repair" didn't, his van is fully stocked hardware store. (Very Impressive) with no mark up on materials (fantastic!), who does that now a days? Job was finished in good time and the real boss, my wife was very, very happy with "Bob's Handyman & Repair" detail to service and job work quality. Thanks Bob! from a very Happy Husband! Oops!, one thing that I forgot to mention, we also had him look at our shower door. We thought that do to age that it was either comming loose or just plain old and maybe we needed a new one as my wife thought the shower door was leaking. Mr. Fletcher examined it and determined that we didn't need a new door and if it was leaking, that all we need to do is replace a rubber seal that is easily replaced at the bottom of the door. This deed, impress me as my experience (usually bad) with handyman services like to pad the bill for things that dont really need repair, so for this action I give Mr. Fletcher and "Bob's Handyman and Repair" an "A+"!

Bob is the BEST! He arrived on time with a smile and was prepared for the work. He worked hard, cleaned up after himself and did a fabulous job. He charged what he estimated the job at and finished when he said he would be done. His work is exceptional and he is very fair with his prices. He is truly a great resource to have and will use him again without hesitation.

Bob Fletcher came out and gave me a quote on three or four different things of my house. Actually I have not decided whether I should hire him for those or not, but he was really awesome. He was great, he really was, he was really good. It was great. He was awesome. It’s really hard to find who is a handyman who has got all those skills like personable, reliable, dependable and to do the things they say they are going to do. For sure, I would use his services to get another quote.

Bob has spent 9 hours over 2 days doing projects in our home. Some of the assembly on the dressers took longer than anticipated, but that was due to the many, many parts. The job would have taken me much, much longer (assuming i could have done it at all). He methodically went from one task to the next without taking a break. He worked in a very clean, efficient manner and did a great clean up when he was completed with each task. We would highly recommend Bob to anyone needing handyman services!!!

Experience Details (repairs not necessarily in order): Showed up at 12:16 (one minute late he says...but my watch is three minutes fast...) on time as promised Measured windows for window coverings and gate opening. Discussed all other repairs including some electrical that will be a side project. Gave him a deposit to cover materials. Bob shopped for repair pieces for cabinets, a new gate and post, and three sets of blinds. He removed old blinds and installed two new vertical blinds, with the pull in the RIGHT PLACE (good quality) He removed old blinds in daughter's room, replaced with new horizontal blinds of good quality Bob repaired a wrought iron gate that had rusted at the post so it was falling over; drilled into the cement and "spliced" with rebar, painted black. It was better than I would have done, and the right amount of work/cost to keep the gate. My house is worth less than I owe...why spend $400 to replace it? Bob installed new aluminum wrought iron gate in side yard (to keep dogs in the yard.) It matched the front wrought Iron so the HOA can be calmed. He patched a doorknob hole in the drywall. I thought there's no way he'd remember that, but he sure did! Bob repaired hinges on two heavy kitchen cabinet doors that kept falling off. I can't tell you how many times I've been injured with these darn doors...and now they're hanging again like they are supposed to. Was sick of seeing the food on the shelves. If the hinges break again, I'll have Bob come back and replace them all with some new basic style hinges. Bob was cleaned up, trash disposed of and ready to go with final bill at 6:15.

Everything was great...Bob accomplished much more than I thought he would in just a few hours of work.

Excellent. On time and very fair with price

I am so thrilled that I called Bob! I called at the last minute asking if he could help upgrade my bathroom in the next few days because I was having a party on the weekend. He not only accommodated me, he was on my doorstep exactly when he said he'd be the next morning. He was incredibly kind, so neat and tidy, very efficient, extrememly knowledgeable, and his prices are excellent especially for the high quality work he does. I love my bathroom now! We purchased a brand new construction home a year ago, so I have certainly had my share of experiences with craftsmen! Bob is top notch and I have a list of things that I will be asking him to do in the future.

Bob returned my call quickly. He did good work at a reasonable price, and I plan on hiring him again.

Bob was right on time and after briefly discussing with me the list I had, he got right to work. He was quick, efficient and competent. He completed my list in a relatively short period of time and everything was done extremely well. He is a true professional and definitely takes pride in his work. I will absolutely have him back again!!!
