Bob’s Handyman & Repair was professional and personal. He was definitely on time and did a good job. I would definitely use him again in the future.

He did a wonderful job for us. He is very nice and very pleasant to talk to. He doesn't sit here and talk to you for hours. He comes, he does what he is suppose to do and then he is on his way. Which is good. He cleaned up afterwards and he was here on time.

Bob and his colleague were right on time and very fast with completing the work. I've already referred Bob to a few more people I know...

I cannot write a review on his work, only his responsiveness. We called him three days ago and he has not returned the call as yet so we moved to another handyman.

Bob arrived, and completed, the job on time. Cost met the estimate he had given over the phone.

Bob was excellent. He even was diplomatic with my spouse, which made the jobs I wanted him to do all the better. He also improved each time he came out, meaning he came to understand how to work with my wife as well as me. His prices, I am sure, are not the cheapest out there, but he gets the job done well.

We made a list of all the deferred maintenance and property upgrades that needed to be accomplished--things that had accumulated over the last 16 years. Bob arrived for the estimate on time, and walked through the list with us. He was very clear about what could and couldn't be accomplished, and provided an estimate for each project. Each day, he arrived on time, with necessary supplies. He works hard and consistently. He takes few breaks, and he's very efficient. He's also very neat, and he returned everything to its original clean condition at the end of each day.

Bob, who is the friendliest man, came promptly, looked at his watch, estimated the time to completion, and got to work. On the first visit he brought Martin, his charming assistant, and they each undertook different jobs, dividing them for maximum efficiency. There was no wasted time or effort, including visits to Home Depot and Ace. Moreover, he and Martin are remarkably precise and clean in their work: they do it, put everything back and wipe up whatever's left.

Bob gave his hourly rate and estimated time it would take over the phone. The job was completed on time and below budget. He also gave me advice on how to finish installing the toilet. We asked about some electrical work we wanted done in the garage and he said they could do it. We will schedule this work with hinm in the future. He was very professional and friendly.

We called Bob to help us putting the finishing touches on a recent bathroom remodel. We lacked the patience and more importantly, the tools to install a medicine cabinet into one of the bathrooms. After calling Bob and discussing the fee and list of jobs, he came over a few days later, ready to work. Bob did an excellent job installing the medicine cabinet in the master bathroom as well as fixing the previously installed medicine cabinet in the guest bathroom. Additionally, Bob installed/put up some difficult air conditioner vents in the newly painted bathrooms as well. Bob did an excellent job and we're already working on a list of jobs for Bob for the next time.

This was our first experience with Bob and he lived up to all his excellent reviews. He came right on time and completed the work within the time he estimated. He is very personable and even gave us suggestions on how we could get a refund on the door handle he replaced. We will definitely be using Bob again. Ray and Anne

Bob is the best. He patched the wall where the tapestry strip had been, without me even asking. He was able to remove the statue easily without damaging it. He works quickly, is mindful of cost, and is extremely professional and nice! He's my new "go to" handyman, for sure.

He did a great job and was clean with his work. He was very knowledgeable and was honest with his billing. He is prompt and showed up on time. I will be using him again in the future. He is very personable.

Bob is awesome. It's so hard to find a good handyman, so we're thrilled that we discovered Bob. He has been to our house twice now. The first time, he came with an assistant, and stayed for a few hours. The second time, he came by himself and was here for about an hour and a half. He charges a bit more on the days he has his assistant with him, but it's a minor rate increase, and they do get a lot more done than one person can do by himself. Every task we asked him to do was done right. He works very quickly and efficiently, but without cutting corners. We've had some handy men who we felt were "milking" the job to get more hours, but Bob is the exact opposite -- we really felt like we were getting our money's worth. He went out of his way to explain things if there were multiple ways to fix something, and to set the expectations for what could and couldn't reasonably be done. We'll definitely call Bob next time we need handyman-type work done.

Bob personally came out and gave us an estimate and after meeting him i was sure he was the man for the job. He not only was punuctial but he is very professional, did a great job, very clean, left the place in excellent condition. It is hard to find good and trustworthy contractors these days. He is excellent and i not only would use him again, but would recommend in to anyone looking for a handyman. You will not be disapointed.

This was my first visit with Bob and he will be my handman from now on. Bob was somewhat delayed today but kept me fully informed of his ETA. During his time at my home, he performed all of the tasks efficiently and completely satisfactorily. What I liked best about Bob is that he is a good teacher. If you stay nearby, he will tell you what he is doing and why. Bob is versatile and motivated. I highly recommend him.

The job turned out to be a little more challenging than anticipated due to some complications with fishing the wires through the walls, but in the end, Bob did a great job, including cleanup and repair of the walls and crown molding. He works very quickly and efficiently, waisting no time while onsite. He also consulted me when necessary to ensure I was aware of the progress and any change in plans. Overall, I am very pleased with the work Bob did and definitely will use him again. Postscript - a couple of weeks after Bob completed the work, I had a water leak in the wall and thought it might be related to the work Bob did. I called him in the evening and he came out early the next morning to investigate. As it turmed out, the work Bob did had nothing to do with the water leak (it was due to a corrosion pinhole in the water line running through the wall), but Bob spent about 2 hours at the house and helped me locate the leak and temporaily patch it until I could call my insurance co. and have a plumber come fix the pipe. He really help me out that day!

We first worked with Bob right after purchasing our first home and have called on him again two or three times since then. Every time, we have been very impressed with his work. He has always been punctual, friendly, professional, and trustworthy. He works quickly and efficiently, so I would highly recommend having a clear list of jobs before you get started. Our home is always clean and tidy when he is done. Bob can tackle a broad variety of tasks but he is not (and doesn't claim to be) a licensed plumber, electrician, or contractor. I appreciate the fact that he is honest about this and will not take on projects that he is not confident he can complete. On a couple of occasions he has recommended that I contact a professional licensed plumber or electrician to tackle specific jobs he was not comfortable with, and this has proven to be good advice (in one instance Bob identified a dangerously miswired exterior power outlet). Based on our most recent experience (June 2012), it appears Bob is quite busy these days, so it can take a week or more to get an appointment.

We had used Bob previously and he was very good but something has happened and this visit turned out absolutely terrible. After rescheduling our original appointment for a week later, he showed up and was unable to handle 5 of the 8 things we needed done. These were fairly simple items like adjusting a shower door, snaking a drain and repairing a loose brick on a wall. He showed up either unprepared and or just not wanting to work. When we asked him why he couldn't fix our shower door, he said (quite unbelievably) "You need a really competent handyman to do that job." We asked, "Aren't you really competent?" After that he made a very hasty exit from our house and nothing was completed. I would look elsewhere for your "competent handyman." This guy appears to be a flake.

I made this appointment several days in advance. Bob was prompt, thorough, cleaned up his work area, and did all the repairs in record time. He has a minimum charge, which is what I ended up paying. I'm sure if I had had more small fixes he would have done those as well, all within the minimum time. I expected these repairs to cost more! He was friendly, explained what he was going to do, and even painted the gate repair so I didn't have to have that done separately. I will definitely be calling him again!

We recently discovered that one of the two large ?pedestal? leg assemblies supporting our 15-yr old formal DR Table had split almost in two, allowing one end of the table to sag seriously. Our first reaction was that the structural damage would be very difficult (and expensive) to repair. We shopped around a bit, and found that a comparable table and matching 6-chair set would set us back $4-$6000. We decided to have a very good local handyman ? Bob Fletcher (?Bob?s Handyman & Repair?) ? take a look at the damage and tell us if it was repairable. We phoned Bob, and described the problem over the phone; he was sure he could fix the table to our satisfaction for a far smaller amount. He came over and inspected the damage, and suggested a way he could repair the table in a few hours time for about $150. After discussing what he?d do and how he?d do it, we agreed, and we scheduled a time slot with him for about a week later. Bob was able to quickly and carefully make the structural repair. The table is once again structurally sound (actually somewhat stronger now, because of the changes made), with no apparent sign of damage and repair. The cost was $145 in labor and materials. Obviously, my wife and I are thrilled with what Bob was able to do in so little time and at so little expense.

I was very happy with Bob's work. He showed up on time, was very professional and started the work immediately. I also felt he was very fast at getting the repairs done. Overall, I thought Bob's Handyman Services is great and I would definitely use his services again. My only criticism is the fact that he is so busy and popular, that I have to schedule an appointment way in advance.
