BOB'S HANDYMAN & REPAIR

Overall he does very good quality work, and he's pretty fast with standard installation/repair tasks. Good value for money. I have tried a number of other handymen, and all have had issues with either quality or efficiency. Bob is also very responsible, timely, and communicates well, which is refreshing. I would highly recommend him.

This is my second time using Bob. He promptly returned my phone call, made the appointment, confirmed his arrival the day of the appointment and showed up on time. His completed all the work with very high quality. You can tell by the way he works he knows what he is doing. I would highly recommend him!

I was enormously pleased with Bob and his Handyman service. To begin with, most of our contact before his doing the work had been through email. This usually works best for me. He was prompt in replying, explained his procedures and policies, and answered all of my questions. An exact appointment time was set (no two or four hour window, which sometimes drives me up the wall!) However, on the day of the job, he considerately phoned about an hour prior to our appointment time and said he was running a little behind schedule and would be about a half hour late. This was not a problem I was much appreciative of his call (not last minute or worse, a call after our set time). He arrived only 15 minutes beyond our original appointment time. Upon arriving, we quickly went over my list of items (verbally & my showing him) to be accomplished. He was friendly, professional, and as it turned out, extremely competent. Everything I had asked him to do, was done quickly, and in a few instances, done better and more creatively than I had anticipated. When there were any problems, Bob would alert me and told me how he would proceed, upon my approval. My list of things to be done was extensive and I?d told him I only wanted him to work is two hour minimum? thinking he?d not get close to completing my list. He did, with time to spare, and asked if there was anything else he could do, which there was. He seemed to bend over backwards to make it a positive business experience for both of us, and of course, succeeded on my end. I?d both hire Bob again and would recommend him to anyone, IN A HEARTBEAT!!

He was on time, very nice. Gave thorough estimate and did excellent work. I was very pleased.

Bob was straightforward from the first contact; friendly and professional. He emailed me his pricing information so that there would be no surprises for either party. We scheduled an appointment within a week of my call, he showed up on time, prepared to fix our problem and that's just what he did and exactly within his time quoted. Bob is professional, honest, hard-working and friendly. He's the man to call if you need some help around your house.

Bob and his assistant showed up right on time. I explained the projects to them and they got right to work. In short order our microwave was installed and our door latched. The kitchen cabinet was too warped to get it to perfection, but between the two of them the were able to make it close better. I am very pleased with their work and thought the price very reasonable.

I called Bob twice in two days - one call on each of his listed phone numbers. He didn't bother to call me back so I'm back to the list. His voice mail greeting answer did not indicate he was unavailable. I'm back looking through the list of handymen.

. At first, my husband made an appointment for Bob to arrive on Wednesday-June 19, 2013 , at 9AM. Unfortunately, we waited a good part of Wednesday for Bob to show up. My husband left a second message to see what the problem was. Later that evening- Bob left us a message-apologizing for the mix-up. He THOUGHT we said Thursday! Well, he kept to his word and arrived on Thursday morning- June 20, 2013 at 9:10 AM. He again apologized-and seemed nice. He was very professional and kept all items clean. He put matting on the floor-so as not to track in dirt from my garage-and where he would get his tools out of his truck. He made a run to Home Depot-to get the appropriate shelving and closet hanging equipment. It took approx. a total time of 4 hours for him to complete the job. He vaccumed the carpet in the closet. Everything turned out to look nice! We were happy with the work. We paid upon completion of work. We would recommend him again--if needed for the future. Sincerely, Kathy and Tom Clark

Bob is amazing!! He showed up right on time and was very friendly. We had initially thought our tub needed to be re-caulked but it turned out that it needed to be re-glazed. Instead of taking advantage of our lack of knowledge and completing work that didn't need to be done, Bob was honest and extremely helpful. He quickly fixed our stopped up bathroom drain and offered to look at anything else we needed assistance with. I will definitely call him in the future!

All went well. Just thought the job would require more that 1 person. A little more than we wanted to spend.

This was my first time using Angie's List. I needed to have two faucets installed and didn't know who to call. I read Bob's reviews and contacted him. Everything that was said in the reviews was true in my case: he was responsive, professional, friendly, worked quickly and did a great job. He also cleared the drains - without me asking - and cleaned the entire area before he left. I won't hesitate to call him again.

Bob returned our call within one day. We told him we needed some facets replaced and some other bathroom and general handyman projects. He gave us an estimate of the time it would take over the phone and we booked an appointment., He arrived on time. Bob was very professional and knowledgeable. He solved the issues with get skill even though some of the fixtures were rusted and difficult to remove. He replaced the valves as well. He chalked a bath tub, replaced some towel racks and installed a new shower head. He's was very conscious and cleaned up after the job very well. He's great at what he does. Thanks Angie!

When I first called Bob to set up an appointment he called me back the same day. He explained his pricing and lead time. We set up an appointment several weeks in the future (my request). Bob showed up on time, completed the work requested and the bill was as expected. He and his partner did a great job! I will be calling them back for additional work shortly and will continue to use them!

Bob repaired both of our problems quickly and correctly. We were very impressed not only with his workmanship but also that he took the time to explain all that he would be doing. He arrived on time and was done in 2 1/2 hours but only charged for the minimum of 2 hours. He will be the first I will call for any future repairs. Thanks Bob.

I own a rental home in Orange County and live in the Midwest. My tenant needed some "handyman" work to be performed. (drawer repair, sink cap repair) I searched Angie's list and chose Bob's Handyman and Repair. Bob did not disappoint. He met every one of his promises and performed his services as promised. The tenant's said he was very professional and thorough. I will definitely use him again.

I moved into my condo a year or so ago and had a number of items on my home inspection report that needed to be taken care of. Since I have never used a handyman before, I wasn't sure what to expect, but Bob did a great job. Not only did he complete the work I requested much quicker than I expected (and with absolutely nothing for me to clean up afterwards), but he took the time to explain and advise me on various other items on the home inspection to help me prioritize and plan for future projects. I will definitely use Bob again.

Bob is awesome! He was very accommodating and flexible about changing our appointment date when the set took longer to ship than expected. He is super friendly and professional. He prepared ahead of time and was punctual. We had a lot of fun building the set with him and his assistant, he even taught our son a few things..."never slide your hand along a piece of wood." When pieces were missing, he had bolts and screws in his truck that worked. The set ultimately was a much bigger job than we thought and as the sun went down he kept working well past the time we had agreed on to get as much done as possible (my husband and I finished it up the next day on our own) but in the end he did not charge us for the extra hours! I would definitely hire him again and highly recommend his services.

Bob and Martin arrived on time. After establishing the job details, they worked quickly and efficiently to finish the tasks. They took extra precautions to avoid damaging the floor and stove and made sure everything was cleaned up when the work was completed. Bob took the extra time to make sure the new microwave was functioning properly and the clock was set correctly when the install was complete, he also made sure we understood how to access and change an internal charcoal filter. We were very happy with the work performed by Bob and Martin and will use them for future projects. We would recommend them to anyone looking to have handyman-type jobs completed.
