BOB'S HANDYMAN & REPAIR

I needed a handyman to come and repair my front door which was out of service ever since my tenant had move out, the tenant had the mover remove the front door to move larger piece of furniture but didn't put the door back properly. Found Bob on Angie's list and call left him a message, he call me back the next day and ask me what it was that needed to be done after I told him I just need him to tune and realign my front door he said it would be NOT cost effective for me because he has a 3 hrs minimum and he could solve me problem in about 15 mins and I was bummed out. However, Bob said there is a small window between his appointments that he could sneak me in at a special rate of 1.5 hrs and if I had more things around the house he be more than happy to take care of it for me since I paid the time. We agreed to that and Bob came out the next day fix my front door and took the extra step to clean out all the spider webs and dead leaves that had accumulated since the door had been out of commission for so long and gave the front of my house a clean look. I also had Bob help me remove a combo lock that was left by a realtor (never claimed) and hung some nick nacks. I was very happy at the end of his service, he clean up after his work and will go the extra mile for cleanness and detail. I will most definitely hire Bob again and refer him to anyone that needs a handyman ( However just make sure you have a long list of things for him to do cuz of his minimum charge)

GREAT HAD A LITTLE EXTR TIME LEFT AFTER INSTALL SO FIXED A COUPLE OF OTHER ITEMS

Bob is an exceptional man, both talented and honest. He estimated that my jobs would take about two hours. He spent three hours in performing the services with an assistant but refused to charge for more than two hours as he said that it was his mistake in estimating the time needed. He and his assistant fixed several drywall holes that I had. Bob also fixed a fence gate by putting two lag bolts into it to hold it tight. He repaired the trap under the deep sink in the laundry room which had been leaking so that we can now use the deep sink. He did several other small repairs in the performance of his duties that I had not asked for as he saw that they were needed; i. e. he applied a duct-type tape to the vent tube from the dryer so that lint would be better vented and fashioned from wire a pull for the gate so that the gate can now be opened with ease. If you are looking for a handyman with many skills and who is honest, Bob is your man.

Bob was consistently on time. If he was going to be 5 minutes late he would call. He answered all questions I had. Kept work area clean. He was always friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend Bob's Handyman & Repair to friends, family and acquaintances.

Bob and his assistant, Martin, arrived on time, worked efficiently and did great work.

The main reason I called Bob was to caulk the master bathroom shower. He explained that he had a three hour minimum charge & asked if there was anything else I needed done since the caulking was very quick & easy for him. He was very efficient & accommodating as to the odds & ends tasks requested. We are glad to have found a good handyman to add to our list of service providers.

For all the women and men, who don't know how or don't want to pick up a saw, hammer or screwdriver, Bob Fletcher is a handyman who will give you peace of mind. The jobs he fixed around my home were accomplished in the manner and time in which he promised. I was most impressed with how clean he is. Not only did the job get done, but I didn't have to spend the rest of my weekend cleaning up a mess. I highly recommend him.

This was my first introduction to Bob. He confirmed the appointment and arrived on time. Together we walked the house and inventoried new hardware. Then I left him to the job. He was meticulous in the way he organized the project -- with as many door knobs as we had and not all the same, organization was key -- and systematically went through the entire house making appropriate exchanges. He kept old hardware separately and collected extra plates and pieces that were unused. The new hardware was more complicated than the old had been but he didn't have any problems with installation except in the amount of time it took. Since completing the job would have extended beyond the allotted time, we agreed on a point to stop and selected a new date to complete the hardware exchanges remaining. The second appointment will allow me additional items to add to the list -- something I'm very comfortable doing having witnessed Bob's methodical and efficient style. I've worked with many contractors over the years and have a running list of go-to people who never fail to please. Bob has been added to that list.

Bob was very nice but was unable to perform most of what I asked if he could do to begin with. His helper Martin changed out the heating/ cooling devices and was very nice. Bob stated he could not change the door handles because he needed to drill new holes (which I verified with him before he came). Stated it would cost more money. Could not fix the hose bib because he said it was too old. All the small repairs I had asked about on the phone he just kept telling me "you can fix that, just go get certain parts".. I thought that is why I was hiring a handyman because I do not know what parts to get. Again, very nice but $280 was much too expensive to not have very little work completed.

I have a patio gate that had a simple latch, but wanted to install a door handle so I could lock it for more security. Bob was very responsive to my initial phone and email contacts, quickly came to my home to provide a free estimate, and scheduled the job promptly when I decided to hire him. His estimate was very accurate, he arrived on time, and he got to work as soon as he arrived. He was professional and considerate, asking if it was all right if he played music quietly. He understood my homeowners' association rules regarding noise levels after 5pm and made sure he didn't use power tools after that time. The stability of the gate itself is much improved from it's previous condition. It cost more than I would have liked, but the quality of his work was excellent. I would happily hire him again.

Bob was extremely professional and helpful - if I was not sure where and how to hang a certain grouping of plaques and pictures he assisted and was always right . Bob has a good eye for the creative and was willing to work with me and coach me through the process. I look for ward to working with Bob again in the future.

Bob has come to our house several times and always does a good job. He has worked on a wide range of projects. He is prompt, courteous and explains what he has done. He answers any questions I have about current or future work we might need. Martin was with him on the most recent visit and he was also very courteous.

Bob kept in contact with me through email and text the whole time--and also after the work was completed. One stop shopping.

Bob quickly hung the light and tool organizer. The pull up bar was difficult, as it was being hung on an aluminum duct that goes across the ceiling of the garage. He did an excellent job or reinforcing the entire installation to make sure it was hung securely. He definitely went above and beyond to make sure it was done right.

Bob and Martin did a wonderful job. They arrived right on time and were very courteous and friendly. Bob explained how he was going to do the repairs in detail and gave me an accurate time estimate before starting the projects. Everything was completed neatly and professionally, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Bob was very honest with his hourly fees and repaired everything as promised. I highly recommend Bob and Martin and will be using them again in the near future!

The only glitch was that Home Depot did not carry the tracks needed for the job and so there was a little bit of wasted time checking out 2 Home Depots. Since Bob charges an hourly rate plus materials, the time spent on the shopping portion was of concern. But he was super conscientious about that and gave me a break in the total bill! He did find the tracks at Lowe's and once he got back, Bob was able to finish the job in a jiffy. I was totally satisfied with the work Bob did and was especially pleased at how quick and efficient he was. He's also very personable. I will defintely call him again.

He responded and did the job that he said he was going to do. He was also polite and he followed through.

When it comes to Handymen, you certainly get what you pay for. Bob's hourly rate is higher than most but he is so quick and efficient that you will probably end up paying less and have the work done properly. He seems to know how to fix most anything. He is very professional, honest, and on time. I would definitely use him again.

Bob installed plantation bifold closet doors which required extra time and know how to complete. There were several obstacles that Bob solved due to design issues of the doors and opening of the closet .He worked at a steady pace until completion and worked extra time to not miss any details. He is a true professional and is very fair in the price for his services. I have already recommended him to someone. You would be fortunate to have him work in your home.

Bob is very responsive and punctual. He's courteous and was always on task, so things got done quickly. I was asked Bob if I could work alongside him since It was my rental property and I was there anyway. He taught me a bunch of things and even checked the quality of my work and offered suggestions to do better. It was a pleasure working with him. He's now my "go to" guy for this type of service. Great job!!

Bob and Martin did a fantastic job. They arrived right on time and everything was completed neatly and professionally. Among the many misc things, they helped me hang 20+ pictures and arrange decorative objects in overhead nooks. They were patient, offered good suggestions, and willing to make an effort to give 110%. I'm planning my next set of projects for them.

I was impressed with the work Bob did. All of the work met and even exceeded my expectations. I would definitely hire him again and recommend him to others.

I had to book several weeks ahead, but that worked out fine. Bob was on time and kept me informed of his progress as he went along. He is highly competent and professional.

Bob of Bob's Handyman Repair, was wonderful. He responded to my initial contact quickly and set up an appointment to come and give me an estimate. He picked up the shower door for me and did a beautiful job of installing it. He removed and disposed of the old ugly shower door and cleaned up all the stains left on the tile and by the old door. He did a nice installation job and left the area cleaner than when he started. He also caulked the grout around the tub. I will definitely use Bob's service again for future home repairs.
