Bob is very knowledgeable and takes pride in his work. He was clear about his fees and gave an accurate estimate of how much time the work would take. I'm more than happy with the results and will absolutely call Bob again.

I contacted Bob about installing grab bars in one of my bathrooms, as my husband has started falling fairly frequently while in the bathroom. Bob assured me that he'd done many of these, so we scheduled a time for him to come out, and he emailed me in advance about what to look for at Home Depot while shopping for bars. He arrived exactly on time, and we discussed how to install the bars and he made some excellent suggestions on a better way to put them in. My husband is quite pleased with the results and I can now go off for a weekend and not worry about finding him lying on the floor when I come home - well, mostly. I plan to have Bob out at the beginning of the year to put another bar into my bathroom shower as I have to get into it at an odd angle and have slipped at least once while doing so, and whatever else I can talk him into doing for me on that trip. Probably some electrical work and maybe fixing the flashing on my patio roof.

Bob was fantastic!! He was extremely efficient and meticulous at the same time. I am really happy with his quality work and planning to have him back once I get around to set-up my garage.

I wanted my rental condo to be in tip-top shape before turning over to the property owner at move-out, and found Bob's Handyman & Repair here on Angie's List. Bob responded promptly to my initial inquiry; provided me with all of the information I needed to know up-front; and was very accommodating regarding the timing factors I as juggling with my upcoming cross-country move. Bob re-confirmed the appointment, so I was confident he would arrive on time ... which he did. Bob was fully prepared to do any job, and efficiently resolved the general wear & tear repairs I needed done. Bob also shared with me some great advice on some best practices for go-forward, which I appreciated. He was professional, courteous, and a pleasure to do business with. Although I am moving to a different part of the country, I would definitely recommend Bob to friends & colleagues and would contract with him again. Thanks, Bob, for your great service!

Bob is very good at what he does and id a very smart man. I'm not familiar what other handyman charge, but I can tell you that Bob's work is top rate and you don't have to worry about quality. We have a very nice home and I didn't want things screwed up. He's not cheap but he can fix or repair about anything. I guess you get what you pay for. We have used Bob about 8 times in the last year.

Bob arrived on time and was extremely professional. All the work was performed extremely well and he was very neat with his tools and equipment. He came to the job prepared with everything needed to do the work. I will defiantly use him again and would highly recommend him to my friends and neighbors in the future.

This was the second time Bob did work for us. He sent an e-mail to confirm the appointment, showed up on time and completed all the work in a short amount of time. He left everything clean and was very professional. We will definitely use Bob for all of the work we need done inside the house!!

Bob was super! He arrived on time, we went over the list of items we had provided ahead of time, and only then did Bob start the clock for 3 hours of work. He was efficient, fast and tidy. He finished everything and there was time to ask him about other possible future tasks. He was pleasant, patient and enjoyed what he was doing. He's now a part of our "team". He will return next week to assemble a cabana that my husband ordered.

How did it go? One word: SUBERB!!! Bob arrived exactly on time & was very courteous and respectful the entire time. Bob spent about 4 hours at my house as he completed the jobs I had scheduled with him. We also went through my house and he listened attentively as I told him all the ideas I had about various changes & upgrades I wanted to make. He was very open and honest as we discussed the projects, he told me which jobs he could do & which ones were not in his area of expertise. He also offered me some really great ideas about some things which I hadn't thought of (I really loved that!). As we progressed he explained how each job could proceed and gave me cost estimates for each. Bob is very creative and I enjoyed listening to his ideas and explanations of how everything could come together. He also gave me some helpful cost saving tips. I liked Bob's easy manner and openness. He was very efficient & cleaned up each and every speck that came from the jobs he completed. I was extremely pleased with his work! I didn't let him leave until I had booked my next appointment! That will be in two weeks & I'm very excited to see my new custom mantel he'll be working on!!!. I highly recommend Bob's Handyman & Repairs. I've told all my friends about him!

Bob is a great handyman! He communicated and confirmed the appointment time. He arrived on time and was very professional. He worked quickly and got everything done in less time than we had planned! He is very neat and everything was clean when he finished working in any area. I plan to call him whenever I need anything done. I would highly recommend him if you need a handyman - you can't go wrong with Bob!!!

Easy to talk to. Provided pricing and scope practice ahead of time. He not only did not mind me hovering over his shoulder (maybe I'd learn something), he welcomed it. He worked hard and accomplished all that he set out to do with no over-charges. He provided many tips and I learned a lot as well as how I might accomplish the things that were beyond his area of expertise. He told me ahead of time, he wasn't the cheapest guy out there and that for the minor projects I had, I might want to shop around - again, not to dismiss me but to make sure I wouldn't regret it later. He was #1 on Angie's List and deserves to be there. I would not hesitate to hire him again or to recommend him. I feel I definitely received good value for the money spent. Example: One task was to unstick a drain plate in the master shower. Not only did he do that but he also thoroughly cleaned out the drain AND there was no extra charge! I've had 2 other service provider come to unclog that drain and though both did unclog it, neither went the extra mile and got ride of the calcium build up, etc. So, I can only give him 2 thumbs up 'cause that's all I have. But if I had more, I would include them also. Note-This was our 1st meeting. I did not know him prior to this contract.

Floor inside cabinet looked bad. Bob arrived as scheduled and made the cabinet look new again! He cleaned the whole area, installed wooden floor, painted interior cabinet and caulked the seams! He did an excellent job! He finished the project within the estimated timeframe. I had searched before hand and got several estimates - he charged a less than average. And he also had a great attitude throughout. I would highly and happily recommend him.

I was very pleased with the quality of service I received from Bob's Handyman & Repair, as well as the outstanding work. His communications with me ahead of the project were excellent and thorough. His work was professional and he was honest, tidy and courteous. I'm already planning to contact him again for some additional work around my house.

Never called me back. Yet another contractor that doesn't have the courtesy to call back.

Bob strives to be the best in the business and I must say I've never before had anyone who could match him. I first contacted him by email and give him a preliminary list. He was a little delayed but called ahead to let me know and to make sure it would still be alright to come a half hour late. I really appreciated the call. I only expected him to get through half of the list of nine items, based on past experience with other handymen. He completed all but one of the items. That one required some additional plumbing hardware that needed to be purchased as well as a full hour of his time. So I knew that one would have to wait for another day. The most immediate need was to have a toilet repaired that would stick and keep running. We've already had that toilet "fixed" a couple of times in the past. Bob came ready with a complete toilet tank kit and replaced all of the inner workings. He did this in less time than the "minor" repairs we've had done in the past. He also took care of a bathroom sink that has had repeated problems with slow drainage. In the past I've had a plumber come out to clean it. I was totally impressed to find out that Bob did way more than remove the clog. He also cleaned out the trap and then cleaned out the pipe all the way to the wall. This was much more thorough than what the plumber did. There's a good reason Bob gets such excellent reviews. He does a fantastic job. He does have a 3 hour minimum, so he's not the one to call for one small job. He also doesn't paint. But I would much rather have him say he doesn't paint than take on a paint job and not do a great job on it. That's what happened with my last handyman. So when we need a painter in the future, we'll hire a professional painter. But for handyman jobs, we'll be sticking with Bob and his excellent service.

Bob arrived promptly at 9AM. I had supplied a list of projects prior to his visit and we were able to have a discussion about the work that needed to be done and what could be accomplished in the three hour time frame that we had decided on. A few of the items on my list will have to wait for another visit. After having our discussion the clock started (9:25AM). Bob was thorough and after completing each task would clean up the area before moving to the nest job. When you watch a professional do these jobs there is always the thought that it looks so easy and maybe I should have done that myself. But then you realize that the reason all these little jobs add up is that you don't do them and that is where a handyman comes in. I an satisfied the work that was done and have a sense of relief to be able to check these tasks off my list.

Bob is simply the best. He is a complete professional. He arrived on time and completed every task with energy and complete competence. He has knowledge of all areas of home repair. It was a wonderful experience. We will be using Bob again. Bob stayed for three hours and the bill for all work completed was $225.

Everything went well. Bob called to tell me that he would be a bit delayed due to another job, but it was no problem for me. He did offer to come another day if needed. Before he came he called me several times to make sure that he had/was purchasing the correct items, size etc. He did knobs first, then the chrome closet rod, shower gab bars and then the kitchen sink. He had the right drill for putting up grab bars in tile, but he did warn me that it is still possible for tiles to crack. They didn't! In fact they look like they belong there. We discussed the placement before he started. He had some good idea about where they should go. I had looked online for advice. His plans and the advice matched well! Bob was very careful about setting up, whether to wear shoes in the house etc. He had a small vacuum for quick clean up. He had receipts for the purchases, a couple of which we did not need so he returned those and subtracted the price from my bill.

It went no where. He did not have the courtesy to call back to say I'm too busy or even recommend another person.

Bob's Handyman and Repair were prompt, impeccable in their detail, honest and knowledge-able. The Awning repair and Removal of the Deeply set Dog gates, which were more difficult jobs, were accomplished in a highly reasonable time frame. This business truly takes pride in what they do and how they do it. I was very impressed with how Bob conducts his business. He showed up fifteen minutes early, was very clear was he does / does not do in advance and was very conscious of time even going above and beyond to to get a couple of un-planned items into the time planned. I love businesses like this b/c they really care about their brand and in my experience people with this attitude/work ethic often succeed as far as they want to go. We have Bob's refrigerator magnet on our refrigerator (not something we ordinarily do) and definitely will be requesting their services again.

Bob responded quite promptly through email to my initial request for services and explained generally how long it took for them to be available. He said it would most likely be 7 to 10 days out. I needed a few jobs done within the week as we had company arriving. Bob and Martin arrived just 5 days later exactly at the time they said they would. As I walked Bob through the jobs to be done, Martin was already setting up floor coverings and bringing in tools and beginning to do simple jobs while I continued to show Bob around. I knew they were going to make the most of my time and money, and I really appreciate that. Bob was quite honest with what he felt his capabilities were, and if there was a job he felt he could not do, he explained exactly why. THAT, I really appreciated, especially since they were not crucial!! Bob and Martin worked non-stop for three hours, just as they said they would, completed 16 out of the 19 jobs I had listed, admittedly, two of the jobs were really opinions I needed a trained eye to look at, and then they fixed a hinge on a side gate to my yard that I didn't even know about, just because they happened to see it!!! I LOVE THAT!! Again, I appreciated their honesty, their expeditious work, the attention to detail, and going above and beyond what I had asked for. They even transported items to my garage for me after I had them take them down. I will definitely be putting my next list of jobs together as they come up and keeping Bob's Handyman & Repair on my list of the best folks to call. Thank you!!

We had wide cracks between the sink and the counter. Water leaked through the cracks, and ants used them as a playground. I contacted Bob via email after reading many positive reviews on Angie's list. He gave me a quote for $275 and agreed to do the job even though we never met and the house was empty (he's a straight shooting kind of a guy, very refreshing). Now there are no ants and it looks and smells nice under the sink. I will definitely use Bob's services in the future, if the need arises.

They were awesome! Initially, I thought that charging per/hour with a minimum number of hours (e.g. 3 hours) was excessive and would be less cost effective, but the quality of work would be worth it. I was pleasantly surprised- this past weekend Bob and Martin showed up ready to work. They work at a fast pace and work very well together. They completed the following- Modified a stair door which was too tall, fixed a cabinet door, patch 2 holes in the wall, repaired a broken drawer, repaired moulding, put together a large jewelry floor mirror and a number of other tasks. Did I mention they work fast and do an excellent job? They are prompt, clean up, and for the amount spent, it would have been more expensive with other handymen. The important thing is have your list and special items ready for them to work on. I definitely recommend them and will hire them again.
