Excellent. His crews and subs provided outstanding skill in what they were doing! He would check in on the workers progress 2 to 3 times a day! He comes highly recommended in my book.

Things could not have gone any better with Charlie Clarke of Gaelic Construction. Charlie's bid was very competitive and we were extremely satisfied with Charlie's work. He was personally on the job every day. He called us at least once a day (often more) to let us know project status, etc. He fixed/changed any issues right away no questions asked. He finished the job in less time than promised. During the entire project, we always felt Charlie's number one goal was to make sure we were totally satisfied with both the process and the end result. We could not be any happier with both the process and the end result.

Charlie and his construction and painting crews did a great job fixing up and sprucing up my 1920's house. All involved were competent and professional throughout the project. They arrived when they said they would, worked extremely hard all the days they were here, and finished by the projected date. As problems with unanticipated termite damage and wood rot arose during the project, Charlie made sure that they were taken care of promptly and effectively. I was very impressed by the work done by GCD and will use them again for future projects.

We obtained bids for this project from 4 different contractors and we were happily surprised that Gaelic Construction and Design were and quot;right in the middle of the packand quot; in terms of cost. In addition, we were impressed by the thoroughness with which our project was initially evaluated and estimated. During that visit, the owner of the company,Charlie Clarke, offered several very good ideas and modifications for the project that he said we might and quot;want to considerand quot;; importantly, he gave these ideas only after listening to our needs and did not and quot;lectureand quot; us or tell us that we and quot;shouldand quot; do it this way or that -- as one of the contractors made the mistake of doing. Although we had been cautioned by some friends that a full kitchen remodel could be and quot;a nightmare,and quot; our experience with Gaelic could not have been smoother or more free of problems. In our opinion, the gorgeous new kitchen which resulted was due to the following factors, all of which are key strengths for this company: 1. Charlie and his crew are consummate professionals in every respect. All of the members of his crew work for him and are paid by him so there is no problem about obtaining and quot;subcontractor liensand quot; or and quot;waiversand quot;. Moreover, all the crew members have worked on many projects together and they work smoothly as a team. In addition, every member of the crew were able to communicate effectively with us during the day. 2. Gaelic demonstrated the highest standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail, often and quot;going above and beyondand quot; to make sure each of the parts of the project were perfect. 3. As the principal contractor, Charlie was on the job first thing every morning to lay out the crew's tasks for that day and conferring with us to make sure we were on track with every stage of the work. Charlie was also almost always there at the close of the work day, as well as making special trips to our house if something needed his attention. If we needed to contact him, he never failed to respond to cell calls promptly. 4. Gaelic Construction made every deadline they gave us during this project. 5. When one major problem occurred with the vendor who had supplied the cabinets, Charlie took charge of solving the problem by dealing with the vendor himself and thus relieving us of that frustration. and quot;We'll take care of this and make sure it's fixed,and quot; he reassured us. And he was more than true to his word. To sum up, we give Gaelic Construction and Design the highest recommendation: Superb work at a fair price and completed on time. One measure of the confidence we have in them is that they will be coming back in the New Year to do a floor installation upstairs.
