His price was slightly lower than two other contractors I received bids from, and he clearly explained everything he was doing as the job progressed.

 + -1 moreHe arrived at his appointment time. Inspected the roof and gave me a what I think was a reasonable bid. Advised that he would be here the next day with his crew and the job would take about two days. The next day Obie called off because of rain but advised that he would be here on the following day (Saturday) and finish on Sunday. He arrived as promised on Saturday with crew and advised me of the entire process including cleanup which included using a magnet in the flower beds for any dropped nails. When he left the yard looked better than when he came. Before leaving he directed my attention to the work preformed on the roof and advised me to call if I experienced any problems as he guarantees his work for 10 years.
Description of Work: Repair of leak over front entrance, south of front door. He took out tiles in two valleys, approx 800 square feet and put 2 new layers of 30 # roof understatement. He also opened valleys when putting tile back with 10D galvanized nails. Replaced broken tiles with new Eagle tiles.
