Spoke to him over the phone. Needed some minor work done in my kitchen. He gave me an estimate for the job which was reasonable. He had other large jobs but told me he would be able to do the job. I contacted him later via voice mail and text to arrange a time. Never received a response. Assuming the job was too small for him. Would have been nice for him to let me know up front.

Due to the high cost of having professional roofers perform very minor repairs, I searched and quot;handymenand quot; to see if any could perform a small roof repair (replace 2 tiles) at a better price. Eric was immediately available when I called (I didn't have to leave a message), and he was very helpful. He let me know that roofing repair is not a service he can provide due to the high cost of insurance for that type of work. This was informative for me and will help me better understand and appreciate the high pricing that I have received in the past from roofing companies. Perhaps if they had bothered to explain their costs to me, I would have worked with them already. I appreciate a contractor like Eric who takes a quick moment to explain things to me as the customer (and not in a condescending way). The main reason I called Eric's company is because Angie's List showed that he maintains professional insurance. I always think companies with insurance show a commitment to safety, good sense, and willingness to be responsible/accountable...all things I want when someone is doing work on my home. I was very happy when Eric provided me a referral for an insured roofer that he has worked with and whom Eric said does good work. I will call Eric again in the future for the other non-roofing work I need done.

It went great! I ordered the doors and Eric picked them up for me. He painted them and installed them. I used Eric earlier in the year to install recessed lighting in my family and dining rooms. He also installed two dimmer switches. He also ran the wiring for a ceiling should we decide to put one in at a later date. Eric did this at no charge! Not only is he a great guy, he is meticulous in his work. Pricing is reasonable and Eric is a man of his word!
