we had trouble getting the. keys to new home and the loading of furniture went well. but the final closing was delayed two days and home still not closed . We got permission to unload furnture and boxes into garage only.

Moving is very stressful. The movers were so kind and accommodating. Everything was beyond our expectations. Beyond grateful. Extremely pleased.

Only negative, is that when they were all filled up with the truck they did not say a word to me. They just took off! They should have least alerted me by word that they were leaving. Otherwise, everything a-okay.

I called, they came, gave me an estimate of $1500. I explained that I would mark the items to people packed and put on the truck. I spent hours separating out what I wanted of my Mom & Dad's items I wanted to take and what was to be left behind (far less to take then to leave behind.). When they arrived in the morning they were prompt. The person who had given me the estimate was not there. I explained what they should pack and what they shouldn't. I went to the basement because there was a lot more to do down there. When I came back up about 90inutes later they said they needed a bigger truck and it was on the way. What????? Next thing I noticed they had packed and loaded EVERYTHING and charged my another$2000 for the pleasure. The boxes are still in my garage-from floor to ceiling from left to right- a slim path to the washer dryer and to the front. I was inconsolable.

This company is great to work with everything was clearly explained to us so that we could be ready to move out and go to storage. The crew of three arrived on time, introduced themselves and got to work. We self packed a 2200 sq ft house that we lived in for 15 yrs. The crew was surprised how organized we were and finished emptying this home in 3.5 hrs. We will see how well the move-in goes in couple weeks. Two thumbs up!

On time, on budget, some minor damage that was repaired

The movers (Gene, Randy, and Lucky) were on time, efficient, professional and a delight to work with. We had a lot of large furniture and were moving into a two story house. We were worried about getting the furniture in but they told us it was not a problem and it all worked out very well. They were also very efficient, they worked non-stop for 8 hours. Moving is stressful so it was such a reilief to find Tony's Sons Moving. One thing that I liked about this company was that they came to our house to see what we had and give us an estimate. It made me feel more comfortable about the move. I would highly recommend them to friends, family and anyone that asks.

I never write reviews but after moving with Tony's Sons I thought I really should write a review for them. I had Bruce come to the house to give me a written estimate as I never move without a not to exceed price. Several moving company's gave quotes over the phone and I would never use a mover that could not even take the time to come out and give me a proper estimate. I have probably moved about 10 times in the last 20 years and every time I have moved I have always been charged the not to exceed price, it has always been the maximum charge. When Bruce did the walkthrough he estimated 3 men at 6hrs and not to exceed 7.5hrs. I had gotten other estimates that were much more expensive and had more men assigned, but I just had a good feeling about Bruce and went with Tony's. Moving day came, I was told the movers would show up between 9 and 10 and they showed up at 7:30am. We were not quite ready as we thought we had another couple of hours to finish up our packing. I became very nervous as I've had many movers show up late but never 2.5 hrs early. The 3 guys that showed up were very professional and got right to work. I am disabled so there was not a whole lot I could help them with. Even though my wife and I were not quite ready the movers worked around us and even took several items that were not packed. They worked fast and we were on to the new address in no time. All movers charge double the drive time when doing a local move and I have had several companies take the longest route possible to pad their drive time. Tony's was at the house shortly after I arrived and I was driving really fast to make sure I could get a few things done before they arrived. I was shocked at how fast they made the drive. They got everything put away and assembled 2 beds very quickly. I have a sleep number bed with the adjustable frame that raises the head and feet. It is very much like a hospital bed and I was very worried that they would not be able to disassemble and reassemble it but they did a great job. Even with them tearing down 2 beds and putting them back together they completed the job in 6 and 3/4 hrs. I've never had a mover finish under the not to exceed price but they were under by almost an hour. I happily gave them each a tip and will keep them in mind if I need a mover in the future. If you are looking for a mover definitely get an in home estimate from these guys. Label your boxes and put a piece of paper on the wall where you want your furniture to go and it will help cut down on the time. At least with my move they worked fast traveled fast and were very friendly. I would definitely use them again if I have to move in the future.
