System Pavers

This was our second experience with System Pavers. They did an amazing job on our backyard and repeated their excellence on the front yard!! Chris helped design the front yard, Beau was project manager and was very responsive throughout the project. Jorge had to be one of the hardest workers I've ever seen, despite the heat. We are extremely satisfied and highly recommend!!!!

My wife and I recently had System Pavers landscape our front yard with artificial turf bordered by pavers. Chris Van Rossum, the salesman, listened to our ideas and made a few suggestions resulting in a design that we approved of. Beau Johnston, the project manager, along with Jorge the head installer did a magnificent job from demolishing the old yard to installing the new turf and pavers. We couldn’t be more pleased with the results and would highly recommend System Pavers to anyone thinking about renovating their existing yard.

Excellent job done by the team lead by Ricardo Garcia. The lawn consultant Nick Lehr gave us a good suggestion on how to lay out the artificial lawn, and the team executed it well. The team also helped out to remove grasses and put wed blocker outside the paved turf area as courtesy without additional charge, so that I can later plant tree/bush and fill proper decoration myself to get desired effect blending with the lawn. -- Fred L

My brother and I bought the houses next to each other. We removed the fence that between the two houses and wanted to make to a big, nice backyard. Our designer, Albert designed exactly what we wanted for the backyard based on our budget and he gave us a lot of help and advice. Jonathan and his crew were always in contact with me during the construction. Jonathan followed up with me appropriately. He effectively addressed and resolved all the problems that encountered during the construction. The team were very professional and the projected was done right in the end. We love our new backyard. I am definitely recommended System Pavers to my friends.

My expectations were exceeded. They were open to discuss to changes and options to address dog proofing and reclaiming/sharing the backyard with my fur babies. They were detailed and thorough. Thank Bill, Mark, and the amazing crew for making our yard look wonderful again!!!

We had SUCH a great experience with System Pavers! We wanted pavers and turf to remake our entire backyard into a place we wanted to hang out. Albert was very knowledgeable, giving us all of our options up front. He was not pushy in any way, and you could tell he believed in his company and their product. We also felt that Jonathan, who handled the actual install, was great too! Very professional, working hard to make sure we were kept up to speed on the crew’s timing and progress. The crew was super talented. They worked around a few design glitches that popped up, and our yard looks magnificent! We have already spent so much more time outside, we love it! Mark Trojanowski was the System Pavers project manager for my backyard Bocce Court. Mark is very thorough and highly professional. The project was finished on time and was perfectly done. Isaac was the onsite manager and he had two coworkers. All were skilled, friendly, and hard working. I am extremely happy with the results.

I really liked using this company for our backyard landscaping because they were professional, really great at communicating, and responsive. Albert was more like a friend than a sales person. Our project manager, Jonathan, was great and made sure everything was lovely and to our liking. Leo and the crew were really the rock stars! They did such great work, and they worked hard! My pavers are beautiful! The turf looks so nice, and my kids love playing on it. My backyard is so pretty now.

Loving my backyard. Can’t wait for COVID to be over so I can have gatherings and show off my new backyard. For now, my toddler is loving walking or running around the backyard without worrying about tripping from the old slimy cement I once had. Yay pavers! I worked with Jim, Frank, and Beau. First, Jim has a good vision which helps as most customers like me only know they want pavers and how much I can afford (though never tell contractors that). He measured the area, went over the colors and design, etc. Frank kept me in the loop on the schedule and Beau took care of me during the whole project. I am truly thankful for Beau as he worked with my last minute additions (sitting wall and lights). I mean I literally woke up and thought hmm “lights” and here I go texting Beau. I think since my budget was limited, Jim just gave me what was most important to me and he truly stretched what I can reach with my budget. The guys who worked on the pavers are like miracle workers, I mean I went to get a quick fast food brunch drive-thru and when I came back, the old stuff was mostly all taken down and its only been an hour or so. What they can do in 2-3 days was unimaginable. Yes, thats all the time it took and no they did not cut corners as I was observing the process from time to time. It was like HGTV live for me (I mean we all watch “Property Brothers” and the such but to see it in person was very entertaining). Yes, there was no way I could have DIY this backyard project and I wouldn’t want to. When it was all done, I was very happy. I’m also impressed by the warranty as when it started raining after a month and I discovered small area pooling water. I texted Beau and low and behold, I was penciled in very fast and it was fixed by the time it rained the next time. Their knowledge on how to fix problems was very helpful especially to someone like me who would leave things to professionals but watch so I can learn from their experiences. To make my backyard better, I hired a tree removal company to remove a tree that was producing berries that started to stain my new pavers (Oh h*ll no). Unfortunately, the tree removal company cracked a brick and no they didn’t tell me, I can just see some type of scratch mark on it and it wasn’t the evening before they came. I knew it wasn’t covered on the warranty but asked Beau if they can come and fix it. I was willing to pay but they were so nice that they came and fixed it for me for free. I think they felt bad as they knew my plans of how I wanted to show off my new pavers but with COVID, plans were still on hold. They have pride on their work, that small cracked brick would ruin the unveiling. Haha. Thank goodness. Yay, System Pavers.

It was great. Beau and his team did a excellent job. They all worked hard and we ended up with a beautiful patio and pergola. We couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I will definitely refer friends and family to System Pavers.

I wish I could give this company a wonderful review. But, that's not going to be the case. Our System Pavers salesman, Mr. Mike Ammenwerth, took care of drawing up the plans. He was nice enough....however....communicating with him afterward was, in fact, a challenge in itself. We signed the contract for our Paver project, which included Pergola Patio Cover, which turned out to be a separate project in itself. We were assigned a couple of "project managers".....first it was Beau Johnston, the Repair Technician, who had to be pulled off the job....then it was Mr. Zakk Schot who ended up being our primary point-of-contact for the majority of the project. We also had interaction for the company Contraction Manager, Mr. Frank Gori. All in all.....communication was spotty at best throughout this experience (with the exception of dealing with Zakk). The Pergola patio cover became an issue as time went on. We advised Mike Ammenwerth that we wanted additional shade than we were receiving from our existing wooden patio cover. Mike told us "no problem" and recommended the Pergola. Well, the Pergola, once it was installed, sat higher (taller) with a less angle and, frankly, provided less shade (or really no shade) when we compared it to our old patio cover. It's attractive looking without question......however, now we have to install roll down shades to the sides and front of our beautiful patio cover. Not what we expected at all. Our patio cover faces to the South. So.....be very much aware of which side of the house YOU intend on the installation of the very same product. Had I done more research on companies that perform this very same type of service, I would have saved myself a heck of a lot of money. System Pavers profit markup is outrageous (I found out after-the-fact). The company itself only hires subcontractors for their work. The paver subcontractor (Mr. Rozival Sousa of Paver Performance, Lic #1060961) asked me what I paid for our paving contract.....he gave me a "look", then told me that he could of done it for half the price with the very same material and guarantees. Lesson learned. This company depends on the ignorance of the client. The subcontractor, and his team, did a reasonably nice job with our paving project. However, they were very sloppy with the concrete residue left behind on all edges of the paver boundaries. They also left lots of rock and sand that we had to clean up. We filled 3 large trash cans and still had more to go. Some sprinkler pipes were broken as well.....however....those were repaired. For the price I (we) paid for this construction project, I certainly expected more attention to detail when it was all said and done. Would recommend this company to someone else? Probably not. Do your research! More importantly, take several bids from various companies. You will eventually discover that System Pavers is way over priced.

I was thoroughly impressed with the job in System Pavers did for me. Albert, on my initial consultation for the project, showed me some design possibilities I had not even thought of. Then Zach, the job coordinator, was a pleasure to work with and saw the completion of the project through. The final results were beyond my expectations, just beautiful!

Great company. From original plan to finished product everything was efficiently and effectively handled. We had new drive way and walkway installed. Craig helped us make the design we wanted and got the ball rolling. BK was very knowledgeable and managed the project well. Nacho, Fernando and the rest of the crew worked hard and made everything look beautiful. Tara helped us complete all the paperwork and arrange financing. Everyone was always friendly and helpful and quick to respond when we had any questions or concerns. Our neighbors and a friend also had good experiences with this company.

BK and his crew did an amazing job. We are extremely pleased with the finished project and their professionalism. They answered all our questions and gave suggestions to help us make better choices. Would not hesitate to hire them again.

Our side patio is absolutely beautiful! We are amazed at the precision and acute detail put into our project. The crew was very experienced and our project manager Angela was amazing, she made the whole experience a breeze. We will defiantly hire System Pavers again for our next outdoor project.

So I must start this review by saying when my husband first wanted Pavers I didn’t get it. It seemed more expensive than concrete and I didn’t understand the difference. Once I walked out on my new patio I TOTALLY GOT IT! The patio is beautiful with such character and quality. IT feels totally solid but I know it will last forever. Not only did I love the outcome but the process was truly impressive. While we had a few changes and adjustments along the way I got to see what service really meant from our team. Our Designer Craig, our project manager Mark and our install team lead by Baldo all made it possible. Initially we had a confusion with the design and they stepped up and just fixed everything. We had an issue with the date and had to push it and they couldn’t be more accommodating. We finally got to the actual install and im sure these poor guys thought they were in the clear….but not quite. They started to pull the stones into the back yard and had to stop Baldo and say it wasn’t the color I wanted. Without a second’s hesitation he had the whole crew stopped and the Mark on the phone to make sure my back yard was exactly what I wanted. They pushed double time and had it all switched in a matter of days. Its service like that that gives me no hesitation to recommend them. Every project an have its hiccups but this team will make it all run smoothly. Thank you all for your help my dog cooper, my husband and I are all thrilled with our new outdoor living space.

System Pavers recently installed my new driveway. I am totally pleased with the outcome as well as the service from the entire System Pavers Team. Phillip, Senor Design Specialist, spent a great deal of time explaining the process, offering suggestions and ensuring all my questions were answered. BK, Project manager took over and ensured everything ran smoothly and kept in constant contact throughout the project. He was always communicative and flexible. Both Phillip and BK gave me confidence in System Pavers ability to get the job done right! The Team that actually did the demolition and installation, led by Paulo, were outstanding. Paulo, Nacho, Alex and Javie worked like a well oiled machine. They were prompt, professional and were extremely accurate and precise ( a necessity when installing pavers) . Paulos experience and suggestions helped enhance the overall outcome. They finished the job quickly and went above and beyond to ensure satisfaction. System Pavers was great. They worked within our budget to plan a project we could be proud of and not break the bank. The pavers extended our patio to make a much more usable space. The project manager and crew were on time, professional and did an amazing job. They are also very responsive to any questions or concerns. They clearly care about getting the job done right and ensuring their customers are happy. I would recommend them highly.

We hired System Pavers to replace the decking around our pool. We are beyond pleased with the result; everyone who worked on our project from demolition to installation was stellar. We worked with Tracy Reece-Brown as our sales rep; very helpful and on-the-spot. The head mason, Cesar Arroyo did a beautiful, professional job. Special thanks to Nick Padilla, the project manager, who was outstanding in his response to everything that came up and coordinated seamlessly with the company who did the pool restoration.

Our journey began in 2012 when my bride and I went to the Napa Home & Garden show where we met the folks from System Pavers. We enjoyed the conversation we had with the employees there and set up an appointment for an in-home consultation. Being first time home buyers, we couldn’t wait to see what was in store. We met Chris Murray who showed us the wide paver selections that they offered, and we decided on an overall look that was really exciting. The completed project estimate at that time was more than we could afford, so we scaled it back by just having the patio built. The patio turned into phase one of our backyard project. I kept in touch with Chris throughout the years and when we could finally afford to complete our backyard project and scheduled a time to have Chris return in 2017. When he stopped by he had the original plans that we drew out back in 2012. We reviewed the design again and discussed some new paver options for our retaining wall, lighting and fire pits. We also spent a long while trying to figure out the best color scheme. Chris shored his opinion with us and didn’t push the things he felt we didn’t need. You don’t see that very often in a salesperson. Before work began, I meet Michael Silva who is the project manager for our area. Michael and I went through the drawn project so that he and I were on the same page. He made some suggestions that I never covered with Chris and discussed how each item would be assembled. The time he took to go over all the plans made me feel at ease with how everything would turn out. Work began in the first week of May where I had the pleasure of meeting Michaels crew. Three very hard-working men who extremely professional. They took the time to answer any and all questions that I had regarding their processes, especially when it came to the retaining wall. As the project progressed, we ran into a few unforeseen design snags. The first snag was our initial patio, apparently over time the patio became unlevel due to ground settling, so they removed and repaired the entire patio (warranty). The second snag was our fences that we share with our neighbors on both sides. There seemed to be a pretty significant incline to the fence that we couldn’t see from the start due to the weed growth. Michael was very responsive; he laid out all the appropriate options and walked me through what each would look like. During the last few days of the project, and seeing how it all came together, the overwhelming joy of seeing the backyard of our dreams makes me extremely thankful that we met the folks at System Pavers. While our project was a long time in the making, we now have a place where our daughter can run and play and a place to hang out with family and friends. I used System Pavers for the design and installation for the front, courtyard and backyard for a new home in El Dorado Hills. It was a large scope of work, including demolition of existing concrete in the courtyard and backyard covered patio areas, 3 separate waterfall features, a firepit artificial turf, covered pergola and extensive amount of hardscape with pavers. I am more than pleased with the finished work, exceeding my expectations in many ways. At the design phase, the designer really listened and understood the overall look and feel I was looking for. The first draft design he came back with was excellent, taking all of my jumbled mess of ideas and turning it into a beautiful, cohesive design. The cost estimate for the design was above my overall budget but System Pavers worked with me patiently to modify the plans while still maintaining the integrity of the original design in order to fit my budget. Once work on the project began, I was impressed with the efficiency of the work crew. The project manager kept me well informed throughout the process and the crew worked quickly but with precision. The design of my yard is linear with clean lines and a modern feel. It was important to keep all the various elements precisely aligned. They did an excellent job making sure that all the various elements aligned perfectly. Even when I modified the design slightly during construction on one section of the yard, System Pavers accommodated my change and the end result they produced were even better than the change I was envisioning. My sincere thanks to everyone at System Pavers for delivering on my dream yard. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic. A+ all the way. Not only did System Pavers crew come in and build the most beautiful oasis for our backyard space, the process going through this was amazing. From the sales rep that we met at the onset, Alex, to the absolutely fantastic Project Manager BK Ammenworth, the employees carried through a consistent message: professionalism, exemplary work, exceptional customer relations and follow-through. I love my new yard. I picked this company because of the interaction with the personnel, as well as for long-standing history of well-documented fantastic work and commitment to their product. We have had a battle with the HOA over broken community pipes in our backyard which has caused us enormous stress. The reason we went to System Pavers for our backyard re-design is because I felt comfortable that System Pavers would help us navigate through this problem. We recently had another flood caused by association broken pipes and BK Ammenworth and his crew, as well as Alex, the original estimator and the Overseeing PM, Adam, came to our rescue. For no extra charge! they dug up all of the artificial turf, fixed all of the pipes and replaced everything ... again, at their cost. They are my heroes. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They really know their stuff. Again, with the team of Alex, BK, and Adam, my husband and I feel absolutely supported and confident that we made the right choice with System Pavers!

System Pavers completed our backyard renovation Dec 2017 and we could not be happier with the results. They installed pavers, waterfall feature and pergola. Everyone we dealt with at SP was incredibly knowledge, professional, pleasant and courteous. A rarity to have and maintain all of those qualities in business these days. From our designer Lance Alicaya – to our Project Manager BK Ammenwerth – Adanto and his paver crew to Miguel the Master Mason/artisan who built our waterfall – they delivered exactly what they promised and more! They were very detailed in their work, explaining each step of the process, and made recommendations when and where needed. The quality of materials used and the pride in their work is superior. The cleaned up the site at the end of each day. Even after all the work was completed, I had questions for both BK & Miguel. They got back to me in a timely fashion. Miguel even came back to the house for a checkup on the waterfall. I cannot say enough about all of these people. They are amazing! We would highly recommend System Pavers for any patio, yard, and driveway work. You will not be disappointed.
