The nightmare began just over a year ago, and it's been a cascade of disappointment ever since. Here's a chronicle of the chaos they've caused: 1. Sloppy Installation, Sloppier Paint Job: The first red flag was the haphazard painting of the piping leading up to the roof. It clearly indicated that attention to detail was not a priority for Sierra Pacific. Paint can be fixed, but thousands of gallons of water piped over your home pool solar needs to be treated with care, and they failed from day one. 2. Outdated Controller with Irreparable Software: To add insult to injury, we were handed an outdated controller with software so archaic it couldn't even be updated. This left our system struggling from day one, unable to perform at its full potential. 3. Leak-Induced Gutter Disaster: After just a little over a year, we're now dealing with water leaks that have wreaked havoc on our high-end leaf guard gutters. Thousands of dollars in damages later, it's clear Sierra Pacific's negligence has come at a steep cost. 4. Deceptive Monthly Service Scam: We fell prey to their monthly service, only to realize it's nothing short of a sham. Technicians breeze through the work, missing glaring installation failures that any competent professional should have caught. 5. Radio Silence from Management: In the face of these mounting issues, I made numerous attempts to reach out to a manager, but not a single call was returned. It's disheartening to see such a lack of accountability and customer care. It's imperative to share this experience so others can avoid the headache and financial burden that comes with choosing Sierra Pacific. Don't let their flashy promises fool you â beneath the surface lies a company that falls egregiously short on quality, professionalism, and accountability. Buyer beware!

It has been two weeks since the issue report. They have sent two different crews. They have seen the problem, have taken pictures of the damages, and they cannot take care of it because they are short of personal and the person in charge is on vacation... Meanwhile, I have damages to my property, getting worse with the days, and without a resolution at all.

I had solar heating put in for Pool. Mark, Lucas, Jesus, Victor and Mike we’re very professional and did a good job installing my system. They were in and out and did a good cleanup job. They also addressed any concerns that I had. Would highly recommend them if you are looking for a solar pool heating system.

I had the furnce replaced and a Quiet Cool whole house fan installed by Sierra Pacific. I received excellent, professfessional and knowledgeable service from start to finish. Special cudos to the install crew Kevin C, Matt T, Devin W and Juan. Great job guys!

Sierra Pacific installed a new upstairs/downstairs HVAC system replacing two 30-year old units. We couldn't be more pleased. It has computer controlled ducts that get air where it's needed and rapidly. The install team (thanks, Juan and Junebug) was great! Professional, courteous and knowledgeable. We couldn't be more pleased. It's the Ferrari of HVAC systems!

The "team members" were courteous and hard working (no wasted time). They had my furnace and air conditioner pulled out and replaced, tested, and cleaned up within the space of 5-6 hours.

Costco contracts with Sierra Pacific for HVAC systems. My sales rep, Gary listened to my demands and expectations and proceeded to put together a quote on the spot - everything clearly outlined and explained. My wife and I decided to proceed to have Sierra Pacific replace our 20 year old systems. The next step - digitally sign docs was a breeze and then setting up a schedule for an preinstall inspection occured. The day before the appointment, SP called to remind me that they would be at my house the next morning and they did. 20 minutes before 8am, I receieved a call Brad, from the Lead for the team of three that they should be there soon. And they were. Everything was explained to me and how they would proceed for the 1st half of my two units to be replaced. After papers were signed, they worked diligently and efficiently. I would HIGHLY recommend working through Costco and with Sierra Pacific for any HVAC, Solar, window, repair work. All three on the team: Brad, Ross and Matt were a peasure to meet and recognize pride of work well done!

We canâ t say enough about the workmanship of Javier and both Michaelâ s. They were so knowledgeable and pleasant they worked for two days and installed everything without incident I would recommend this company thank you for all your hard work. Peggy and jerry gedatus

Kyle and Abraham were great. They and their work was very professional. They answered questions that I have and I had hot water before I expected I would.

This is an excellent company and install team. They did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them.

Great service from the field crew of Juan, Dominic and Javier. They were on top of it and finished the job on schedule! The new AC unit works great and the the third party testing company concurred it was a very good job!

Great company. The office staff bent over backwards to accommodate my scheduling needs (as did Jake, the service tech). Did the necessary inspections/testing and installed new filter. A quality company that you can absolutely rely on!!!!

Josh was the tech who came out to replace my 10 ft solar panel for my pool. He was amazing, I could not say enough positive things about his work ethic and craftsmanship. I rated him generously, but 1-star for the company failing to disclose they quadrupled the cost (doubled the retail price) of the panel. I had another panel replaced 2 years prior and they were upfront about the $ 500-panel price. This time they waited till the guy was at my house before they told me the same panel is now over $1000. When I asked why the price was double what I paid last time, Josh called to check. He has told that Sierra Pacific the manufacturer raised the price, this is a complete lie. If you search for the price of a 10 fafco panel, they are still $500. The company more than doubled the price of the panel and then asked me if the price was okay after their tech was already at my house. I wish I would have looked up the price before calling them. I just assumed they would be the same price as before. This was not the case. I will be purchasing my own panels from now on and bypassing their price gouging.

Michael R provided my annual HVAC and SmartVent system evaluation. He removed materials, including a used filter, apparently left from prior workers from the attic, found leaks in the duct work due to deteriorating duct tape, and did a thorough cleaning of the condenser coils that had been clogged from a nearby tree. He instructed me on details for more efficient use, was very courteous, professional and thorough. The air conditioner was clearly more efficient immediately. I appreciate Michael R and Sierra Pacific for their professionalism and integrity.

Dave from Sierra Pacific came out to check out my solar heating for my pool before turning it on for the season. He was exactly on time,polite and very professional. I needed a couple of repairs and he explained exactly what was needed before he completed the work. Great job Dave!!

WILL NEVER USE AGAIN!! We have been long time Sierra Pacific pool solar customers. We installed our pool solar around 2003. For many years, we have been happy customers as Sierra Pacific had taken good care of us. For the last 2 years, their pool solar support fees have gotten so high, they are losing this customer forever. Last spring, we contacted them about replacing a solar sensor on the roof. This part goes out every 3-4 years.Their minimum service fee is now $198, just to come out to the house. This is the highest minimum service fee I have ever heard of, and is exorbitant for the services provided. Then the price of the sensor was $198. This is a simple sensor I can find for less than $50 in multiple sites. This year we requested them to come out to fix a different part on the roof. Again another $198 solar service fee for the trip, and $298 for the part which I can find for less than $40. I declined this outrageous pricing and will replace the item myself. I have no idea what changed in the last 2 years, but their pool solar support value has gone dramatically downhill. Due to their outrageous support costs, they have driven us away for good.

This installation was a complete replacement of an old A/C and Heating system. We had previous work done with Sierra so had a high degree of confidence in the company and their employees. The Sierra Pacific installers, Kyle Bentley and Abraham did great work and stayed late to finish the installation in one day. They kept us informed throughout the process. They carefully observed the COVID guidelines, too. The communication was complete and thorough. I also want to commend the congenial salesperson, Gary Toner, who was thorough and professional and responded quickly to get us the best quote on the new system.

This company installed my system. I have a monthly plan so they do the servicing. They repaired a leak in the solar and nothing has worked since. You would think I could get fast repair service but I am still waiting. Will probably be changing to a different company!

Know what they are doing fix the problem in less than 30 mins. On time and very courteous.

Adam did a fantastic job. 3 rooms wasn't receiving enough heat. Adam recommended dampers and that was exactly what was needed. Great customer service!!
