They would not schedule an appointment later than 3:00. I was told that "It was not going to work out" becuse the earliest I could make it home would be 3:15. Poor customer service and very rigid rules.

5 stars for Marathon Home Services! After having a terrible experience with another local pest inspection company, a coworker referred me to Mark at Marathon. I spoke to Elizabeth to schedule who was polite and efficient. Mark and another young gentleman came out to my property and performed a pest inspection. Mark is a very friendly guy who obviously knows his stuff. He even gave me a tip on how to make the water heater FHA compliant for the upcoming sale. I hope that I can do business with Marathon again and would recommend them highly!

I cannot speak highly enough of Marathon Home Services. I've had experiences with several pest companies in the past, and Marathon is heads and tails better than anyone else. Mark came to my house initially and conducted a very thorough inspection of my property. He took his time and really looked in all the nooks and crannies to find evidence of dry wood and subterranean termites. We knew from the former owner of the home that it had been treated before so we really wanted to be sure we were termite free before we moved in. We also wanted to know where the dry rot damage was located. After the inspection was over, Mark went over the results with me and explained everything in clear, concise terms. He gave me his recommendations, and we decided to treat our home just to be safe. Marathon arranged to have our home treated the next week, and David came to do the work. David was professional, competent, and thorough. He treated our home and explained how the product worked. He took his time and provided a quality service. I would not hesitate to use Marathon again or to recommend them to my friends and family. A+ experience from start to finish!

It was easy to get an appointment, and the inspector arrived right on time. He explained what he was looking for during the inspection, and the report arrived via email 2 days later. I am glad that the report includes an estimate for the work that is needed to repair some dry rot. That will help me as I look for someone to do the work.

I couldn't really comment on price, since I didn't shop around for a home inspector. He was recommended by our realtor. He was on time, very friendly and very knowledgeable. He spent a good deal of time going over his findings with us as the house, recommending additional inspections and qualifying which items he felt were truly safety issues and which were just things and quot;to knowand quot; about the house we were buying. He provided a written report in a timely fashion with quotes and great detail. He also did a pest and roof and quot;inspectionand quot; for us, which gave us an idea of we needed to get a full roof and full pest inspection done or not. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a home inspector.

It was no problem to get an appointment. The man arrived promptly. He did the inspection, went over it with us and was done in a timely fashion. We asked that a copy of the report be faxed to our lender and that a copy would be mailed to us. Everything went well from start to finish.

We scheduled to have Frank come out to treat the house for termites. He showed up on time. He started right away with the drilling and finished around 4:00PM. Since there was no access underneath the house, he came out again that Saturday and created an access hole, and completed his inspection. He found one area of damage that he gave a separate quote on. He cleaned up after his work. Overall, he was very easy to work with and professional.
