+ -1 moreWhen I call, I don't get a response. If I find somebody else, I wouldn't use them again. They seemed to get the work correctly.
Description of Work: Leisure Time Pool Service & Repair doesn't service the pool, but they fix things in the pool. The last time they came, I had a leak and they did fine on the leak. They fixed the leak.

Description of Work: Replaced failing filter pump with new 2-speed pump and replaced timer with improved-features pool/spa timer system. Also built concrete pad for a fountain and installed electrical connections for the fountain to pool timer. Unable to remedy pool sweep issue.

+ -1 moreThis was the company that provided the diver to repair my pool (see my review of Advaned Pool Coatings for more info). It so happened that I discussed my pool pump having a bad LED read out (on a Pentair Intelliflow pump) and Liesure Time Pool Repair specialized in that brand, so the repairman knew exactly what the problem was. Unfortunately, the LED display could not be separated from the computer, and a new computer/LED would have cost me about $1100. The repairman was able to work around the problem for me, and I was able to get the problem solved for about $170. Really a smart guy, and very kind and thoughtful. He did a great job removing all the crud on the tile, as well--looks fabulous. Really good company. I'd recommend them highly.
Description of Work: Repaired and reset my pool pump, removed scale on pool tile, diagnosed problem with pool sweep.

+ -1 more***WARNING*** In my opinion, if you're looking for a company where you can sit back, relax and leave all the worries of your pool behind, Leisure Time Pools is NOT the company for you! You will spend more time managing them. We were customers of Leisure Time Pools for approximately 1-1/2 years. We terminated their service due to the following reasons: 1) Employee turnover rate. It appeared that LTP had a difficult time keeping employees. 2) Numerous "No-Shows" on scheduled days of service. BTW, I am home on every one of those days. 3) Excuses, Excuses, Excuses. The owner, Jerry, would always get defensive and have a drawer full of excuses instead of handling the issues in a professional manner. (Which leads me to believe this could be the reason for #1.) So don't fall for the smoke and mirrors and find a reputable pool company so you can enjoy your pool. *UPDATE* After putting more thought to the previous grade of "D" that I had given Leisure Time Pools, I'm updating that grade to "F" as I had TERMINATED their services! They also did not reimburse money owed for the remainder of the month.

+ -1 moreProvider never responded to request for service. I guess Angie's List is bringing them more business than they can handle. Hopefully this review will help with that problem.
Description of Work: Email, via Angie's List, sent to provider over a week ago. Have received no response. Pre-sales responsiveness is a good indicator of what's to come. I won't use a provider who takes over 24hrs, let alone over a week.

Description of Work: I called to get an estimate regarding my spa leaks due to rats. They were very professional and scheduled to come out ASAP. Their prices seemed Very reasonable. However, I decided to continue with the spa company I had already started with. I was having problems getting my current spa company out in a timely manner.

Work was professionally done, they arrived on time, completed work exactly as promised, friendly - customer service over the phone was friendly and prompt to return calls, etc. provided advice on pool maintenance, etc. Currently looking through estimates for additional work, including installation of safety fence.
