Thomas Armstrong had done some work on this door before and recently installed a new garage door on a rental property. He is very punctual at returning my call and flexible on coordinating his schedule. He works so fast and is good at communicating the problem. I would recommend him to anyone!

I called and he said he could be at my house within 2 hrs. He told me I may be able to fix it myself by pulling the release lever. I was unsure, so I opted to have him check it out. He was right, it was just the lever. He showed me how to release it. While he was there, he oiled all the tracks and installed a new switch. He arrived early and was very professional and friendly. The job was completed timely.

Thomas arrived exactly on time. He installed the garage door opener I had purchased (afte removal no the old one). Works well, as it should.

He had no job that morning and was at my house in 15 minutes.

It went great. When I called for appointment Tom asked what my schedule was and he worked around my availability. He was prompt, friendly and in a mater of minutes knew exactly what needed to be done. I was charged $280 for everything and he came the next morning to finish the job. He called me to let me know he was finished and unit worked fine. Great experience and would definitely use him again and recommend him to others. So far all my Angie's List experiences have been fantastic!!

Did an excellent job. Was out within a half hour from the time I called. He also cleaned and oiled my springs and checked the rest of the door. Would call or recommend him anytime.

It was very good, he was prompt, even early and was done in a reasonable amount of time.

Work was done professionally and speedily. The problem was attributed to a part being worn out, instead of having to replace the motor as some service providers advised. Tom readily replaced the part, changed the location of screws that enabled our door to slide more silently and more effectively. He installed brackets to help support the metal bar that opens and closes the big wooden garage door we have. He also sprayed some silicone oil on the screws that support the door. He is an honest provider who just wants to do a good job. He offered tips on the effective use of the garage door. I would recommend him any time for garage door services.

He was pretty good, but he did not have enough strip, and didn't have anything available, and did not come back. He made sure the door could go up and down.The seal needs replacing, and cold air can come through. He did an good job. I would appreciate it if he could replace the strip. He told me what was wrong, what needed to be replaced, why the door was creaking. He replaced the rollers, he lubed everything, so nothing was creaking. Brand new motor in, nothing temporary in. The track in the manual release of the door, you can still release it, in case anything every can go wrong. He did everything properly. A lot of times, people will give you an temporary fix, but he gave us brand new hardware, made sure everything is correct. Put another release on it. Overall, he did an excellent job, beside the strip. The door is still working to this day, no problems. He is very responsive. He left his card, number, if you needed anything, to let him know. Very prompt, responsible, he did an great job. He was here on time, he said he would be here on an certain time, and he was here, and stayed here, until the job was done. He was very professional. He kept you up to date on everything that needed to be done. He let you know the liability of the product, he evaluates the job, and said the reason these things was worn, and needed replaced, and he gave us the evaluation, and the rollers needed replacing, made sure they checked out right, the electronic eyes were matching up, and everything is working still to this day.

Fabulous! I would totally recommend Tom to Angie's List customers. We live in Lincoln, and he is in Rancho Cordova. I called at 11:00, and he arrived in 40 minutes, and the job was done by noon. Very personable, very skilled. Explained what he was doing while he did it, and why. He recommended installing two smaller springs rather than a single large one, so that if one of the springs failed the door could still operate with a little hand assistance lifting the door. Afterward he sprayed lubricant on the spring, and on the track, and explained that with regular spraying the life of both would be extended a lot. Worth every penny!

We called him in the AM and he was by in a couple of hours. He was even earlier than he thought. He educated me on why our door was not working and taught me how to maintain it. The fix was easy and the cost to have him out was totally worth it. Will call him when the bigger things go wrong with our garage door for sure.

Excellent! It was an emergency, because our cars were trapped in the garage. We called at 7:15 p.m. (after hours). Drew came out by 9 p.m. and was finished before 11:00 p.m. We added a second spring for about $50. Drew was pleasant and helpful. This was our second interaction with the Garage Guy (another emergency), and I highly recommend this company!

Called Tom on Friday and he was available to meet me at my home after I got off work. He was there on time, and did the work in a little less than the time he predicted it would take. He shared a lot of good tips on how to keep the door operating smoothly and walked me through all the functions and settings. Very nice and very helpful, and I am very happy with the work done. I highly recommend him if you need any work done with your garage door and/or opener!

Tom was available, informative and reasonably priced. My doors move smoothly and almost silently. I so wish I had checked Angie's list last year prior to getting stiffed for a spring repair ($600 and two separate appointments from Door-Mart). Tom rocks.

Tom has been very honest and professional. He helped me chose the right garage door opener out of local hardware store that fits my need and budget, instead of trying to sell me one that does the same thing but cost twice as much or more. 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　When it came to the installation, Tom didn't just slap the opener on the ceiling and call it a day; he took his time tuning up the garage door first, then installed the opener and reinforced everything with his heavy duty brackets instead of using the two cheap brackets that came with the opener; he even took the extra mile to nailed down couple pieces of flipped out garage door trim for me! 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　Overall, I'm very happy with the job, and I will definitely call Tom again in the future if I need anything done for my garage door.

Our spring broke on our garage door. And I saw he was "open" on Sundays and it's Mother's day of all days. So I gave him a call totally expecting to schedule an appointment. To my surprise, he said, "I'll be there in less than an hour." WHAT!!? Sure enough, he was here in less than an hour! Replaced the spring and gave me maintenance tips to prevent future problems. When it's time to replace opener, or garage door, he's 100% got our return business!!
