American Hardwood Floors

I spoke with Aaron and scheduled an appt to come out and do estimate to refinish the hardwood flooring in the house we are buying. He never made it to the house and we waited for over two hours for him with the realtor. I called him even while we were there to see when he was going to make it. He did not answer and I left a message for him to return call.He may have been able to do a good job, but I will never know since he did not attend or return phone call.

This is easily the best hardwood flooring company in this county. The owner Aaron Hoang is highly skilled, professional and has the best attitude possible. Integrity was evident for the duration of the project. Aaron came to estimate the work promptly. He provided a written estimate of the cost on the spot instead of making me wait several days. The estimated cost was average compared to several other ones for the same work. Worth mentioning is that he did not ask for any money in advance of the work at all. When I asked he said no thanks, just pay when we are done. He listened carefully to what I wanted and paid close attention to details. Other contractors seemed less confident about how to install the new flooring next to the exisiting and add the doorway transition pieces but Aaron was confident from the start without hesitation. Also, another contractor said the old flooring likely could not be restored. The work progressed on schedule and Aaron worked with his partner from beginning to the finish. The end result was spectacular. Since then everyone that comes to my home compliments the floors. The new floors matched the old refinished ones beautifully and you can't tell that they are 49 years old! That was a big concern because the old ones were badly damaged by a razor knife when old carpeting was removed previously. Also some old water stains that were dark. Aaron framed the fireplace to match the oak flooring and put in a transition piece in front of the large patio door at no extra charge. Also multiple other doorway transition pieces. He did not need to be asked to do it. American Hardwood Floors company did everything possible to make the flooring project stress free. I couldn't be happier. To my surprise he even left a very nice gift of floor care products! Truly a class act all the way.
