 + -1 moreI specifically requested Varney Custom Painting based on prior experience. My contractor had worked with him, and was happy to accommodate my request. I couldn't have been more pleased. This was a complicated job (see above) and it was flawless.
Description of Work: Neither the date nor the price are totally accurate. First of all, the painters totally prepped and painted the stucco and a great deal of wood work on a large one-story house. This took a couple weeks. Secondly, the price was folded into a contract that included a new roof, a new driveway, and many other improvements, so I can only estimate what part of it was for painting. This company is not a "budget" company, however, which is why the only grade above that isn't an "A" is price. That being said, I've never felt that I've overpaid for Mark's work. He's by far the best painter I've ever worked with, and I sure hope he doesn't retire anytime soon!

 + -1 moreMark has been here before as a sub-contractor for some major remodeling we did in our living room. I was so impressed by the quality of his work and his professional attitude that I made a point to file his name and number. I couldn't be more pleased with the result of this rather large and complicated painting job. Not only was his workmanship outstanding, but he was courteous, punctual, and extremely neat. (We had just had wood floors refinished and carpets installed, and he was very respectful of that.) We're obviously very pleased with how this painting project turned out.
Description of Work: Mark and his assistant painted walls and ceilings in two long hallways, ceiling only in family room and kitchen, walls and ceiling in a master bedroom, and ceiling and shower stall top in the master bathroom, baseboards and moldings in all of these areas, several doors, and entire wall of shelving in the master bedroom, and extensive cabinetry in the hall and in the master bathroom.
