He fixed the shower by dissolving the build up, instead of ripping out the wall. Saved us over $1,200. over the other guy. Always get a second opinion and go with this guy. Ignore the longer hair and lack of uniform and go with someone that is honest. Really nice guy. Came back between other scheduled jobs to get it all done in our so short time frame. Actually built custom tool to get the job done. Rare craftsman. One of the best.

We've been through them for years. They're wonderful. They're very punctual and pleasant. He explains what he is going to do and gets the job done. Their pricing is reasonable.

I called Greg after my wife noticed water pooling in the dirt next to the driveway. He spent a few minutes on the phone with me explaining what the problem might be. He also explained that where the water surfaces does not always indicate where the actual leak is occurring and recommended a leak detection company to nail down the exact location.. Since the water was pooling in the same area that had a leak a couple years ago (fixed by a family friend), I skipped the leak detectors and grabbed a shovel. 10 minutes later, I had verified the location of the leak and turned the water off at the street. I called Greg back and 50 minutes later he was at my house. Fortunately, his truck was stocked with everything he needed to replace the offending section of pipe. He was done in about an hour and a half and a few hours after that I was able to turn the water back on. Now onto Greg himself. He is obviously a people person and a talker. To be honest, I am more of a quiet type and usually prefer less interaction in this type of situation, but I really got a kick out of talking to him. He's a real character and a heck of a nice guy. I won't hesitate to call Ramona's Plumber the next time I need some plumbing work done. Thanks, Greg!

They did all the new wiring required for the bathroom remodel. New electrical and tapped into old electrical and had to move lighting boxes. On time, prompt, cost effective, and extremely professional.

This was just the last work I have had Ramona's Plumber do for me. He has replaced my water heater, irragation valve, and all the shut off valves in the house, and repaired a gas leak in the back yard. I tried one other plumber in the Ramona area before I called Ramona's plumber. Now I don't bother to call anyone else. I think he is on the expensive side, but I think every plumber is too expensive. He is very experienced and I have never had too call him back to redo his work. I have no problem recommending Greg Chick of Ramona's Plumber.

Greg returned my initial call promptly and showed up early on the day of the appointment. I was impressed with the quality of the installation, and his obvious pride in the workmanship of the installation. If you can call plumbing "gorgeous" then that's what I was left with. It looks and works great. During the installation it was determined that the incoming water pressure was too high and he quickly replaced the pressure regulator. I had some old plumbing going to the water heater that's been bugging me for years and Greg replaced it all and it looks beautiful. He's also a bright and (pleasantly) opinionated guy which I personally found engaging. He charges a flat rate, so the conversations we got into were interesting - mostly in the areas of homebuilding and environmental design. So if you like an intelligent, personable, talented plumber then Greg's your guy. I also like that he provided free DIY information and is very education oriented - check out his company's websites (www.ramonasplumber.com and www.diyplumbingadvice.com). I think it speaks volumes about a person's commitment to their profession if they're excited about teaching others. So he did an excellent job and it's comforting to know that I have finally found "the" plumber that I'll always call for repairs and installations. Thanks for doing a great job, Greg.
