+ -1 moreWe ordered new cabinets for our entire house and had them installed by Matt Taft, owner of Kitchen Barn. Matt was always very helpful, responsive and professional when we talked to him - which we did a lot since we were making decisions from out of state and couldn't see the cabinets in person! Matt was happy to talk us through the pros/cons/costs of various cabinets and configurations. We chose the Belmont 1600 series cabinets (alder wood, upgraded plywood, shaker style) and couldn't be happier with our choice. Matt and his team took the time to install the cabinets with care and attention to detail. We can 100% recommend Kitchen Barn for new cabinets and cabinet installation.

+ 0 moreI could go on and on about Matt, the quality of his work and how easy he is to work with, but simply put, If you are doing a kitchen, this is the company you want doing the job. Matt is always on time, always respectful and friendly. His work is beautiful. I have worked with many contractors and I am not easily pleased, but Matt is the contractor you always hope for and never get. I have recommended highly him to my family and friends.
Description of Work: Full kitchen cabinet replacement after a flood. Designed and installed Kitchen cabinets.

+ 6 moreMat, used 3D imaging to help visualize the new kitchen. Made several improvements in our initial design. Ot Level Medallion cabinets, that could be customized to 18" depth. Work completed in a careful and professional manner.
Description of Work: $35,000 entire project. 5/26/2011 - 8/2/2011 Complete remodel od kitchen and guest bathroom. New cabinets, appliances, tile floor, counter top, and bathroom fixture.

He was prompt; answered any question we had. Made changes when needed. Very professional and super friendly. We feel we made a new friend.
Description of Work: Matt designed and made changes in our kitchen to fit in a pantry, helped in selecting cabinets and hardware, installed cabinets, some lighting, suggested place to buy appliances, granite, light fixtures, electrical contractor, painter, designer for valance and he oversaw the whole project from start to finish.

+ -1 moreIt went great. I kept waiting for the typical renovation horror story and it just didn't happen. I was especially worried about ording an entirely new kitchen from samples, but I trusted in Matt's expertise and my kitchen is truly lovely. They were also a real pleasure to work with.
Description of Work: Kitchen barn did a comprehensive kitchen design and helped me to chose new cabinetry. They also did the installation of all the new cabinetry and worked with my other contractors to make sure the entire kitchen came together really well.
