I ordered a replacement back for a Herman Miller chair from Vitalityweb/The Backstore in July. I heard nothing more for three weeks when I began to inquire about status. I received several conflicting responses and then a notice it had shipped. When it did arrive three weeks after the order it was the wrong color. I had ordered a beige. It was dark blue. I informed customer service and they told me it was the correct color and that they couldn't believe the photo I had even attached. After five more e-mail exchanges they finally admitted their mistake but then went silent, stating it was a Herman Miller problem. I made contact with an executive in the firm who promised to investigate a week ago. I still have not received any instructions, estimate of delivery time, status, or other useful information.
Description of Work: Ordered a replacement back for a Herman Miller Mirra chair that I had originally purchased from the company.

Sorry for all the the troubles. Has everything been resolved? If not, feel free to give us a call and I'll see what I can do. The way the Herman Miller warranty process works is a little complicated but we try to make it as smooth as possible for the consumer. Each and every part that Herman Miller makes is custom made, which means if there is ever an issue, it takes another 4 weeks to make the correct part, which would obviously add to the delay. I'm not sure where your order stands but if you give us a call, we'll be more than happy to get it squared away.
