+ -1 moreFrom start to finish, everything worked out well. We received a "customer schedule" that had dates, description of work and the technician's name. Work was done on schedule. Clean up each day left area very clean. Technicians were competent and we could ask questions. The work started on time and meet the schedule. Minor modifications were done graciously and met all expectations. Each day, the technician would let us know if there was anything we needed to know (don't step on fresh cement or tile). We had a feeling that these technicians knew what they were doing which they did. There were no unpleasant surprises. When this job was done, everything looked great and clean. When the technicians left , they left very satisfied family.
Description of Work: Change shower from plastic to tile, floor to ceiling and tile remaining floor. Is a "water closet", very small area. Started with discussion with rep and a tour of their showroom. Very easy and no pushing. Samples of material and even showers that worked. Selection and plans made there since we knew what we wanted. After that, we received, in the mail, detailed drawings which we made a minor change. Prior to the job, we received a detailed "customer schedule" which listed the days of work, what would be done and who would do it. The tear-out space was inspected for possible problems (none) and work then started. The replumbing was done to reorient the shower handle away from the nozzle. Wood blocks added for later support bars. New waterproof panels were put on all walls for tiles. The cement shower floor was built, then "hot mopped" with tar. The walls were cemented and tile applied. The remaining floor was tiled. New light, exhaust fan, angle stop and light switch were installed.

+ 2 moreThe crew was amazing! They gave us a time line. The only time they deviated from that time line was when the tile guy finished 1 1/2 days early and we had to wait until the next scheduled day for work to resume. They were quiet (I home school and could actually carry on during construction). We did vacate our home during demo because of the dust, but the project manager was able to tell us which days would be "dusty". The general manager, Mr. Cotter, called before construction started to give us his phone number (we never needed to call). Patrick left us with a communication sheet where we could ask questions if we were not able to talk directly to the staff. They promised that the complete remodel would take 2 1/2 weeks plus a two week wait for the custom glass shower doors. They finished everything 2 days early! We cannot say enough good things about Jen, the designer, Eddie, the do-it-all guy, Patrick the manager and Chad, the tile guy.
Description of Work: We have a relatively new home but had a leak under our tub and needed a complete remodel of the master bathroom. Shower, tub, flooring and toilet areas were demolished and then tile floor/shower stall, claw foot tub and new toilet were put in.

Mike, Jimmie, and the other workmen were pleasant, courteous, and cleaned up very well after each day's work. Royce, the project manager, was very responsive to my questions and always returned calls promptly. The shower is beautiful and we absolutely love it. While a little pricier than we expected, I think it was worth it.
Description of Work: Old fiberglass shower in master bathroom removed, new tiled shower installed with decorative border, clear glass doors.

+ 5 moreRemodel Works carefully planned all work and provided a check-off list so that we could follow progress each day. Work was of high quality and completed on time. Project manager was always available n person, or cell phone and highly responsive to our questions and concerns. He quickly corrected the few problems that developed to our satisfaction. Overall we are very pleased with the results and would be happy to use them for any future projects.
Description of Work: Completely remodeled and upgraded two full bathrooms. Everything replaced down to the bare walls including new paint and floor tile. Added culture marble in both bathrooms and a jacuzzi type bathtub in one bathroom. Added new toilets, sinks, cabinets, light fixtures and tile.

+ 2 moreAfter my first meeting with Greg Holst, the Showroom Manager,in February of 2006, I contacted the BBB for background information, and then after speaking with former clients referred to me by Greg, I expected to be satisfied with the bath project. Instead, extremely pleased is closer to how my wife and I felt on seeing the final product. The three week project was completed within 24 hours of the estimated date specified. Greg, Royce (the project manager), and Jimmy are professionals in the very best sense of the word. Courteous and competent, they made us feel as though we had made new friends along the way.
Description of Work: My bathroom remodel project included demolition and removal of the existing fixtures, replacing drainlines to accomodate a different location for the new toilet, wall repair, a new shower enclosure with fixtures, a vanity, sink, mirror and lights, installation of a ceramic tile floor, a pocket door installed, and painting. The tile and pocket door were paid for separately as well as added wiring.

+ -1 moreAll the work was top notch. I can't emphasize enough how happy I am with the quality of the work and speedy manner in which it was performed. All the craftsmen were very polite and answered all my questions very thoroughly. The whole job flowed so well with the agreed upon timeline (in spite of a missing cabinet from the manufacturer), and you can imagine my surprise when the job was completed nearly a week before scheduled! It's good to know that pride of workmanship is not a thing of the past and is in fact, alive and kickin at Remodel Works.
Description of Work: They did a kitchen remodel. Remodel Works removed our old cabinets, electrical, and plumbing after proposing a design for cabinetry, flooring, and appliances. We accepted the design by their consultant Ryan Christenson. Ryan is very competent and had some wonderful ideas and suggestions. After the demo., which included removing a six inch drop from the ceiling, the plumbers, electricians, carpenters, and drywall techs replaced all affected fixtures with new tile, countertops, and cabinetry.

They were always on time. Pat, the closer and walk through person, was fantastic. He made sure I was aware of what was under warranty and what wasn't. I would hire them again in a heart beat.

Both Mary, our designer, and Patrick, our project manager, ensured that we were happy every step of the way, and went above and beyond the call of duty to make it so. There were some minor things that we wanted redone, and got no arguments or excuses from Patrick, just a willingness to see us happy. We got an extremely detailed estimate up front which Mary reworked with us several times as we selected materials and thought of all the details. Before the job started, we got detailed drawings and a schedule of all the work to be done day by day, and while the job was going on we were promptly notified by Patrick of any schedule deviations. The job took a little over a month to complete. We have been using our remodeled bathroom for 4 months now and are just as pleased as we were when it was first finished. We have not needed to call them back to fix or replace anything, and have recommended them to friends who have asked.
Description of Work: Remodel 21 yr. old master bath in January 2006 1. Demolition of all existing fixtures and materials 2. 7.5 linear feet of new cabinets and hardware; additionally 2 storage towers on counter and 1 wall cabinet in toilet area 3. solid surface counter with 2 integrated sinks and sculptured backsplash; new Hans Grohe fixtures 4. shower was tiled floor to ceiling including accent tiles and 2 niches; raised shower head from previous position; new Hans Grohe fixtures; new solid surface shower pan; new clear glass bypass shower door with powder coated metal to match shower pan color 5. tiled floor with tile baseboard in toilet area 6. new Toto toilet; moved toilet line to accomodate 7. installed pocket door between bathroom and bedroom, which required moving the electrical outlets and light switch to different areas 8. new exhaust fan 9. 2 new towel bars 10. installed customer bought 2 mirrors and 2 lighting fixtures 11. relaid existing carpet in sink area.
