Remodel Works Bath & Kitchen

I was so pleased with the remodel of my master bathroom that I turned around and hired them to remodel the other bathroom as well. They do everything from the design work to the installation. All the contractors work for them and are not sub contractors. The pricing is a lot lower then normal considering the work and the materials I wanted. I knew what I wanted and I told them that they needed to tell me if my ideas would all work together. We did a layout and went through everything. Any little problems they had they always made right. The guy that was in charge of the designing and his assistants craftsmanship was outstanding and great work. They started and completed exactly when they said they would. They never left a speck of dirt at the end of the day. They were very puctual and got thing done in a timely manner.

This company was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. I needed help to determine exactly what I could do to create storage space in my small kitchen. Design consultant, Ryan, met with me at my home to discuss my needs and came up with a design beyond my expectations. I received a day-by-day schedule at the beginning of the job and project manager, Patrick, kept everything on schedule right up to the last day. I can't say enough about this company. I have heard horror stories about remodeling, but saw none of that on this job. You pay a bit of a premium for Remodel Works, but it is worth every penny in the quality of the work and the convenience of having every detail planned in advance. With this company, you make all of your choices prior to the start of the job. This makes so much sense because you can then relax knowing you won't find yourself in the position of having to run out to pick up an item that is needed the next day. I am so pleased with my new kitchen. It is beautiful and I now have plenty of storage space.

What a joy to work with this firm! From the planning stages with Mary to the job oversight by Royce to the actual renovation with Dennis and others, this firm really does it right! They were on time even though there were a couple of unexpected snags (1950 construction...) The workers cleaned up every day and took special care to reduce the disruption that a project like this can cause. Everyone we dealt with was professional, courteous, punctual, knowledgeable and flexible. We are thoroughly delighted with the end result and would recommend them without hesitation for any kitchen or bath remodeling venture. They are not the least expensive option but in our minds they are certainly the best!

I called Joe to ask for pricing for some custom cabinets through out my home. He returned my call within 1 day and was very open and honest about his ability to meet my specific project's needs. He referred me to another company to help with some custom closets and gave me ideas about my project. He was very friendly and professional. I would use him in the future with a different project.

They are very timely, always here when they say they are coming. They communicate effectively. From coming up with the plan, executing and finishing it, they were very helpful and accommodating. They are not cheap, but they do extremely high quality of work. My only complaint is that both were not finished on time.

Remodel Works was a bit pricey, but you certainly get what you pay for. The initial visit to their showroom and working with their design consultant (who of course visited in-home) was very smooth. They listened very well to our needs and came back with a design we really liked. After a bit of negotiating, we decided on this company. They have a lot of experience, and the project manager assigned (Lance) did exactly what we wanted, he kept everything to the schedule (they provide a schedule down to the day for the entire project) and handled all issues. They listened carefully to our needs and were especially careful about minimizing any dust, doing great cleanup each day, and putting down tarps, etc. to protect carpet when they walked over. Even on days that were just for work review, the guys were always happy to take shoes off inside the house at our request. They have very good subcontractors for things like tiling, and the quality of the work was excellent. We were very happy with the finished project and enjoy using our bathroom every day. The only hiccup was some water accidentally tipped over in the shower area during construction that came down and left a stain on the first floor ceiling below. Although it did take a little bit of prodding (you can't be too careful about water damage), eventually they brought in a 3rd-party water damage expert to assess, and repainted the entire first floor ceiling (because they could not color match exactly on the spot that needed to be painted over), of course all at their expense. We would definitely recommend this company if you want to minimize hassle and stress, although they are probably not the low-cost leader. You will be very satisfied with the quality of the work and with the people you work with.

This is my third kitchen remodel over the last 20 years and was the easiest by far. A pleasure, actually! Designer Jen Timmons is creative and knowledgeable, yet really tries to design what you have in mind. Project manager Patrick and craftsmen are careful, communicative and super CLEAN! I didn't even have to dust the house after demolition! You pay a little more for a company like this, but it is worth every penny in convenience and quality. They followed the project schedule perfectly and workmen always showed up on time and worked hard. I recommend this company to everyone who cares about quality.

The work was completed in seven weeks on the schedule provided to us at the start of the job. A full days work was performed every day except one when the employee was ill. Our floors, furniture, banister, etc. were well protected from any damage. Our project manager was Royce and he did an excellent job of planning our project and communicating with us. The very few glitches that arose during our renovation were handled promptly and professionally. I gave this company a B for price as it seemed that our job was quite expensive. In all fairness, having never completed a bathroom remodel before I have nothing to compare the cost to. Additionally, I expect to pay more for professionally licensed, adequately insured and legal workers.

They did everything as promised. They exceeded their promises. They were very professional and very prompt. They had the work done in the time they said they would. They cleaned up well every day, it was like they weren't even there. They also cleaned up at the end of the job. It was just wonderful. We'd use them again.

It was great, they were on time, they were responsive to our concerns, they did the entire job in three weeks, the workmanship was great, nothing was broken and their price was not the cheapest.

It went very well. I was impressed with the fact that they wrote up exactly what they would do and where they would do it. They also showed us who would be doing what work. So we knew exactly what would be done when. The design was quite efficient.

We first met with Eric at a Home Remodeling Show and scheduled an appointment for him to come over and bid the job. Eric arrived on time, measured, sketched each area to be remodeled, and gave us a date that we could expect the estimate. He spoke highly of the company and informed us about their rating on Angie's List. Eric then called and scheduled a meeting at the showroom to go over the estimate. My husband, being a finance person, requested that the estimate be broken out differently. Eric made the adjustments and we came to an agreement, selected the materials and awaited a start date. We then met with Mike McDanial who came out to go over the scope of the job and complete the scheduling. Mike provided us with a day by day breakdown of all the work to be done, the workers that would be assigned to our job, and the timeline for completion. On the day of demolition, they arrived in time, explained the whole process, and provided us with a communications sheet for any questions. Upon arriving home the first day of demolition, We expected to come home to a dusty mess. That was not the case. The areas that were demo'd were immaculate. They vacuumed and dusted daily. They even placed protective covering on our kitchen flooring. Eddie, our tilesetter, for the master bath and kitchen backsplash was outstanding! He arrived on time, kept us informed of his progress and cleaned up after he left. He did such a beautiful job. I've received so many compliments on the quality of his work. He was absolutely fantastic to work with. Brett, the tilesetter for our guest bath was also terrific. He has the most upbeat enthusiastic attitude about laying tile. He arrived on time (actually early) and was so gungho about tilesetting. He seems to truly love his job, and his work is also impeccable. Our renovation of the kitchen and two bathrooms was completed on time and most importantly on budget. We would definitely use them again.

I was very pleased with the work that was done through this company. Words really can't do the work that they did for me justice. I would recommend them to anyone.

I would say that it went very well because they did such a great job. I was satisfied with them.

They are professional and incredibly neat. They are on-time. They seem to be trustworthy to leave alone if needed.

The project, from start to finish, was executed to our total satisfaction.

Our old home presented many problems and they solved every one. Their professional designer had excellent ideas and the craftsmen did a superior job building and finishing. The new kitchen and bath are beautiful and after 1 year there have been no repairs necessary. I would recommend them to anyone. They finished in just over 6 weeks as promised. We especially appreciated the thorough cleanup at the end of every work day.

Ryan was our designer and he met me at our house and gave me some good ideas as to what we could do with our kitchen. We then met Ryan in the office to go over his detailed drawings and in the course of the next few weeks we picked all the materials for the designs. They ripped out all the cabinets, a storage unit, a desk and installed new cabinets, granite, tile and appliances. They are extremely detail oriented with exceptional project management. On the first day, I was given a detailed schedule that included exactly what would be done each day, who would be there and when I had to make payments. The team did a good job of cleaning up every day. There are always a few glitches, and they did an excellent job of taking care of those things. I now recommend them to all my friends. I tell them that they might not be the cheapest, but they are worth it in terms of not having to worry about a good job.

They provided a printed copy of all the subcontractors who were assisting with the project. They showed up on time, created a functional space and displayed a professional mannerism. I felt very pleased with their quote. It was less than what I expected. Unfortunately, I do not recall the price. One downfall is they're difficult to get in touch with. I played telephone tag on numerous occasions. I found them through Angie's List.

Overall, truly an excellent job. Every step from my first encounter with Eric, the designer to every meeting with the project managers Mike and Royce and Tiffany in accounting was excellent. Everyone made it a priority to make sure that the customer's needs were being met and that any problems or questions were addressed immediately. All of the technicians and subs were also extremely competent, on time and professional. I would whole-heartedly recommend this company to anyone contemplating a kitchen and/or bathroom remodel, especially if this is your first remodel since Remodel works co-ordinates everything down to the last detail.

We were very pleased with the entire process; from the sales person to the project manager and to the work crew. The Sales person (Jen Timmons) listened to our to our needs and desires. She developed a solution that fit our budget. The project manager (Mike McDaniel) developed a schedule, gave a us a copy, & provided us with a set of drawings. Mike communicated on a routine basis to keep us informed to the status of the project. The work crew came on time and worked around our schedules with minimal disruptions. The project was completed on time and within our budget. (We had one unforeseen problem. A work around plan was developed and executed. That did require a change order.) The work crew was neat and cleaned up every day providing the family with working plumbing. Our overall impression is very positive. We will recommend that you give this contractor a chance to bid on your work.

The work was outlined with a schedule complete with lots of details. The several groups of workmen (floor men, plumbers, cabinet people, painters) were coordinated and didn't either get in each others way nor leave us with an incomplete job for weeks. The workmanship was excellent. They cleaned up after each day's work, and the whole process was amazingly dust-free throughout. The cabinets are handsome, and we leave the new pantry door open much more to show them off! The recirculation pump works properly, delivering hot water without delay to the far end of the house. We will look at our bills after a few months to see whether the extra electricity costs less than the water and gas needed to get hot water throughout the system in the past. We were quite satisfied with the workmanship, the timing, the efficiency, and the results of the job.

The project was a perfect 10 from beginning to end. Read the above description.

Although there was some estimate time slippage, the job went very well. I was well informed, workers were professional, good, accommodating and cleaned up at the end of the day. I was assigned a project manager who was excellent. He coordinated all the workers and flow and worked to please me and make sure everything was going well. I was impressed with the quality of staff from sales through execution to completion.

Remodel Consultant Jen Timmons: Created design using all my requests, and suggested additional options that made sense; she helped keep within my budget; cabinet brand and finish were her suggestion. She utilized the showroom to show me lots of options and assisted me in making good choices. She is knowledgeable, talented, very experienced and easy to work with. Project Manager Lance Hawkins: Provided schedule, supervised workers, talked to me everyday, let me know about schedule changes and why. Lance showed concern about my questions, and he worked very hard to complete the project in a timely manner. I knew when workers were coming, what they were doing and I felt that they were knowledgeable about their duties and that they were carefully supervised. The project took about five weeks, as expected. I provided a single car garage for storage and work space. I also provided use of a bathroom, and fridge for cold drinks, etc. I love my new kitchen and Remodel works did a great job.
