In our front bathroom, we had the tub removed and replaced with a spacious walk-in shower. In addition to a shower head, we chose to have a hand-held shower mounted on the side wall to help with bathing and clean-up. We had a beautiful teak drop-down bench seat installed that looks very spa-like and takes up virtually no space. The walls are Piedrefina granite composite, and are absolutely beautiful and no-maintenance. The surface continues out of the shower and forms the counter-top for the under-mounted white sink. We chose a glass shower wall and door, and they make the bathroom look larger than it really is. We chose a brownish large rectangular ceramic tile for the floor and up one wall halfway - it's gorgeous.
Our back master bathroom was also totally gutted, with most of the same materials used as in the other bathroom. We expanded our phone booth-size shower stall by stealing some space from a hall closet - what a difference! We now have 2 beautiful, accessible bathrooms that will serve us well for many years to come.
The crew was great, professional, and clean. Our designer, Eric Lindroth, did an amazing job - no pressure whatsoever. We are more than pleased with the end results.
It was completed on schedule at the initially agreed upon price and to our complete satisfaction. Importantly, the overall approach the company uses is well thought through and very thorough - with a clear emphasis on keeping you informed at all times and meeting all intermediate milestones.
I was also continually impressed by the competence and commitment of everyone I met - from the initial exploratory discussions through the detailed project definition and on through the execution, everyone was absolutely first-rate.
They are more expensive than most remodelers, but the effort they put in to making sure things were done correctly and the way I wanted them, and the absence of delays and lame excuses made the extra cost worthwhile. You get what you pay for. I recommend them highly.
We did not want to get bogged down by working with a company that did not provide a complete solution from design through final clean up. We got that from Remodel Works. Here is just a few items they provided for us:
- Design
- Cabinet Recommendation
- Appliance Recommendation
- Project Plan
- Project Schedule
- Project Management
- Craftsmanship
- Quality Workers
- Daily Updates
- Daily Cleanup
We had eight days from the close of escrow on our new house until we had to be out of our old house. We gave the specs to Remodel Works knowing it was a tall order to get the job done before we moved in. They pulled it off and we are very happy with the results. Timely, cost effective and quality workmanship. We would definitely recommend them and we will use the again on our next project.
"Thank you for writing such a nice review [member name removed]. We enjoyed working on your project and we are pleased that you are satisfied with your project. The Remodel Works Team."
The initial contact through Angie's List stated that the provider would be contacting me within 24 hours. After 3 days I called the provider and they told me that they didn't know why I had not been contacted. Ryan, the salesperson, then called after a day. He came out to look at our job and was professional and knowledgeable. He said that his company starts 6 new jobs each week and they could easily handle ours. After several days Ryan emailed us a bid with no prices for each element of the job such as demo, plumbing, etc. but just a bottom line of $26,100. Because we were receiving several bids I asked him for more detail so that I could compare his bid with the others which were priced out by line item. Have not heard back from him at all after my request for cost detail on his proposal and it's been over a week. It turned out that his bid was significantly higher than the others anyway.

From start to finish the process was seamless. Remodel Works is very professional. I called they came out and we talked about what I wanted to do. They measured. Mary was my designer. I went to the design studio picked out my products. We discussed when they would be there and what they would be doing. The day the project started I was provided a schedule of what they would be doing and when it would be done and they were on track or ahead of schedule for the entire project. That included sub-constractors as well.
The only glich in the whole process was the bull nose tile used in the bathrooms. I used tile from Arizona Tile. The field tile and the bull nose tile are not manufactured at the same location so this lead to color variation in the tile. We came up with a fix and I'm completely happy with the result. However, it might be better to incated that this might be an issue before hand and or use a different manufacturer.
Everyone who worked on bathroom from project manager to the guys who did the work
Were very professional.
Although these guys are very pricey. I had hoped that I was getting a high quality experience for the money I was spending.
I'm most disappointed in the fact that they failed to tell me I would be losing counter space in my already small kitchen with the remodel by putting in a double versus single sink which I don't need as much as counter space.
I'd prefer to have my old kitchen, additional counter space and 15K that I spent on the kitchen honestly.
Great! We had been through a kitchen remodel in the early 2000s, during the height of the remodel boom. At that time we went weeks without anything happening in our kitchen and no clue as to when the workers would return. Remodel Works gave us a day-by-day schedule, ahead of time, to let us know what would be done; on what day; and by whom...so we always knew who would be in our house. And they ab-so-lute-ly stuck to the schedule. We were amazed since our previous remodel experience had been so difficult. The workers in our home were terrific. Personable and obviously very proud of their work. We only had one issue with the placement of our glass shower door (seemed a little 'askew'). The project manager came out; took a look; agreed; and made arrangements within days to have it fixed. We would recommend this company without reservations. Be sure to talk to Mary Jennings, our project designer. She did a 'fantabulous' job of taking everything we knew we wanted and making it work in both bathrooms. OK - gave a 'B' on price but only because I didn't want anyone to think there was some fantasy price-point here. You will pay an absolutely fair and reasonable price for the excellent work and product you will receive.
