The remodel of both of our bathrroms completely exceeded our expectations. The designer was very extremely helpful in determining our needs and created a design that we loved. The workers were very professional from start to finish. They were on time and the result of their works is fantastic. The Project Manager made sure that all work adhered to our schedule and made sure that the work was completed on time and within budget.

The Project Manager cam to the house almost daily to ensure that we were happy with the progress. The project was completed on time and within budget.

My husband and I are very pleased with our kitchen remodel. The designer, John Deluca came up with a beautiful plan based on our ideas. All of the tradesmen were professional and knew what they were doing. Our Project Manager, Brian Robbins is a skilled professional, was on top of the project from day one, was always available to answer questions and totally involved himself in our project. In addition he is a very nice man. Every effort was made to keep the mess confined to the kitchen, everyone cleaned up after themselves. The project was finished on time. We highly recommend Remodel works and would certainly hire them again for another project.

We were very pleased with the entire process of constructing a new kitchen. Mary Jennings and John DeLuca are so talented. They came to our house to see our old kitchen and suggested different layouts. We then went to their office and saw what out kitchen on the computer would look like. They then suggested different cabinets and flooring and countertops, etc. We were able to complete the kitchen then and there. Mary was with us when picking out appliances to make sure they would work with the layout. Jeff Aldridge was the project manager and kept the project moving and the kitchen was finished by the promised 6 weeks. I would use then again.

We hired Remodel Works to remodel our kitchen and guest bath and create a bar. We reviewed them in March 2018 and revised it a few days ago. Unbeknownst to us, the original review had to be replaced; only 1 review per business/customer. This revision is to provide a whole review of our experience. In short, we feel very good about recommending RemodelWorks to anyone needing to remodel their space. Our experience from beginning to end (approximately 7 weeks) was excellent! The project was completed by the scheduled completion date. Our experience with the whole Remodel Works team was top-notch! *** Design by John DeLuca involved many adjustments to design which resulted to a collaborated outcome: a kitchen, dry bar and guest bath like no other! John responded to a quote request, met us and discussed our needs. In that same initial meeting, John lost no time and stayed another couple of hours to make initial measurements to use in putting the draft design together. We needed this project to be completed before we left on vacation. John was enthusiastic about our project and saw the feasibility to meet our deadline. He collaborated with the project team. John ensured the whole team understood this top requirement. He sold us on his design and Remodel Works' quality service with peppered pistachios and a true commitment. *** We were very impressed once again when we were presented with a construction schedule. Above expectation! It allowed us to measure timeliness and success. Awesome tool! *** We were assigned a dedicated Program Manager. Ryan Terrell. Need we say more? He and his team's goal was to ensure our complete satisfaction! Timely, friendly and professional! Really! Ryan had to execute the plan we conjured up with John. He was meticulous, thorough and detail-oriented. His attention to detail ensured this job was completed on time as committed. He made sure always that the project site was clean. The orchestration and experience provided by RemodelWorks was outstanding at this phase as well! *** The selection of subcontractors we felt was very important to the quality the organization delivered. Most of the subcontractors met their deadlines. We had a few hiccups with our countertops. Okay oops. Cabinetry: both the build and installation. Their works for RemodelWorks in this project provided another level of refinement to "remodeling"! Exquisite! We highly recommend RemodelWorks for updates, changes and what have you. They are not cheap but received the quality we paid for and have not regretted it.

They listen to our needs and wants for the design and remodel of our kitchen and bathrooms, and worked within our budget without trying to upsell us. Very refreshing! We were also on a tight schedule and they help us make it happen in a timely manner. Their workers and sight foreman were easy to work with, I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We went with Remodel Works based on the strength of previous reviews and the attention to detail we saw from the designer. Much of this job went quite well. The designer (Yvette) was clearly knowledgeable and did a great job helping us choose everything needed to help carry out our vision for remodeling the bathrooms. The project manager, Paul, was personable, easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and unflappable (in the face of dust setting off our loud smoke detector on the first day of the job, Paul remained calm while trying to sort out how to turn to the alarm off). By the end of the job, we were quite pleased with the final product, which we continue to enjoy months later. However, our overall ratings were diminished because of numerous red flags along the way. Based on what we heard, it appears that Remodel Works was either under new management, or the current management was not making quality a high priority. More than once, contract workers would show up only to discover that materials they needed had not yet been delivered. This appeared to be directly related to expect too few people to cover too many jobs. At a couple of stages of the project, people discovered belatedly that the wrong materials had been ordered. More than one of the crew told us that these shortcomings had not occurred often in the past, but were now frequent. Various stages of work would repeatedly be delayed at the last minute as it would suddenly be discovered that someone could not work on a particular day. When it was discovered in a couple of cases that the wrong item had been ordered, it took a couple of months for the replacement to arrive, only to discover that it was also the wrong item. As a result of all of this, a project that was projected with a clear, detailed timeline to be finished in 4-1/2 months (including buffers for things slipping between the cracks), finally ended only after 9 months. In parallel, throughout the project, it seemed that miscommunications from bookkeeping on pending payments were routine. This isn't to say that none of those who worked on our home were professional. At least two come to mind (Javier and Drew), both of whom were excellent. However, the overall result was not one that inspired confidence.

I did a major master bathroom remodel, and wanted someone to take me through from start to finish, since I have no expertise of my own. Aleigh was wonderful at drawing up the plans, and helping me choose everything at their showroom, based on my budget. Once I was on their calendar, I was told there would be no interruptions in the work, after it began. This was absolutely true, thanks to Brett who was the perfect project manager. I was given a detailed itinerary and they stuck to it. Brett was always monitoring the work and answered any questions I had immediately, always with a smile on his face. Aleigh was also available to help with questions that came up. The workers always showed up on time and everything was kept extremely clean. I would say Aleigh and Brett were a dream team, as they anticipated every need, and there were no budget overrides, no surprises. I would definitely recommend this company, especially if you need a little hand-holding. I don't feel that I could have done much better price-wise, even if I had done all the leg work myself, and the results were absolutely beautiful. I'm spending the rest of the summer enjoying my gorgeous new bathroom.

I had remodel works redo my kitchen. Ryan Christenson was the sales person I first met with and Ryan F was my project manager. They were both fantastic. I was given a work schedule that showed what would happen on a daily schedule. Not only did they follow the schedule precisely but they finished a week ahead of schedule. I now have a gorgeous kitchen that I am so proud of. I highly recommend Remodel Works in Poway.

I can’t say enough positive things about Remodel Works. From the consultation with Ryan C and Kate, to the actual work with project manager Ryan T, everything was extremely professional. One of my favorite things was a work schedule that listed everything that would be done on a daily basis. Not only were they right on schedule but they finished 10 days ahead of schedule! The complete remodeling of a kitchen brings great excitement along with frustration and confusion. Even if you think you know what you want, there are literally thousands of design elements from which to choose, on both the style and function spectrums. We decided we needed help. My husband and I met with John DeLuca, a Certified Kitchen Designer from Remodel Works Bath & Kitchen, located in Poway, CA. John visited our home and listened to us describe our ideas of what we hoped for in a remodel. Then John explained what would work best function-wise in our kitchen space. We also discussed changes that would need to be made to the current footprint after removal of all items in the old kitchen. John then worked his design magic over the next week and came up with a plan that both my husband and I loved: Beachy and relaxing, but capable of looking sophisticated at the same time; not fussy, but with sharp style elements throughout; we even used his suggestions on how to select our lighting and appliances. We didn’t change a single thing in his design. A day hasn’t gone by that I don’t smile when I look at my new kitchen. John DeLuca’s designs are award-winning. If you are thinking of remodeling your kitchen, Joh DeLuca deserves your consideration.

We purchased our home a little over a year ago, anticipating an extensive interior remodel soon after closing. We met with six design/build companies and chose Remodel Works to completely redesign and renovate our kitchen, family room and living room areas. We have been very happy with the entire process and would like to provide our recommendation for Remodel Works, as further described below. John DeLuca CMKBD was our kitchen designer and his approach to designing the kitchen was the most critical factor in our family choosing Remodel Works. When visiting our home and creating a design, John emphasized the existing strengths and weaknesses of our house. The result was a design that beautifully complements and accentuates the existing architectural and interior elements of our home. To explain further, our home is a ranch style house with a very large living room that has 25-foot ceilings and a wall of windows opening into our backyard. Our kitchen and family room space is located directly adjacent to this living room, but it was unfortunately closed off from the living room by an intervening wall that blocked a significant amount of natural light. This separation resulted in a cramped kitchen and family room area that did not fit the overall feel and dimensions of our house. An additional design challenge was that our kitchen is placed within an area framed by 5 short walls framing the space and projecting it out into a portion of our yard. This 5-sided "pop out" is very interesting visually, but it proved to be a significant challenge for all of the designers we consulted. John proposed the most impressive solution—maintain the unique 5-sided wall and window layout of the kitchen, but increase the kitchen size by approximately 30% by extending one wall of cabinets and the island out toward the former family room area, and removing a portion of the wall between the family room and the living room in order to bring in natural light and encourage movement throughout the entire space. John guided us through this design process very quickly, completing the overall design within a couple of weeks, during which John promptly provided at least 3 revised versions of our design following our review and consultation. In addition to John's impressive design, we also chose Remodel Works because of their regimented scheduling process. Lance Hawkins was our project manager and he was a consummate professional throughout all stages of construction. From the very beginning, we had a detailed list of each step of the process, organized chronologically with each of the subcontractors who would be in our house during each period. This was important because we lived in the other half of our house during the remodel. The transparency with this process removed a great deal of the uncertainty and anxiety that presumably would have occurred had we not known the specific individuals, dates and times for each state of the construction. We were thrilled that Remodel Works stayed on schedule during the entire process, which happened to be during peak holiday season from November through January. During construction, the Remodel Works team was very diligent with cleaning and organizing the work site on a daily basis. At the end of each day of construction. With regard to the overall timing, the construction proceeded very quickly, lasting from the middle of November until the end of January. We have been very happy with the entire renovation process and we are extremely satisfied with our remodeled home. We had our first large gathering at our house a few weeks ago with about 80 guests. Our home felt very open and inviting as people moved fluidly throughout the redesigned areas, evidencing John's excellent design and transformation of our home. Needless to say, we would highly recommend the Remodel Works team to any others looking to renovate their house.

Can’t believe this is ours! We are now enjoying our recently completed kitchen remodel more than we ever would have expected. Not only is the kitchen more functional, but different design features add great architectural appeal too. John De Luca CMKBD of Remodel Works (Poway, CA) incorporated many features that we never would have come up with on our own. Key to his design was adding details to break up sight lines, and maintaining the island as the “hero.” A change in the depth of cabinetry and variety of uniquely chosen materials provide visual interest. Lighted glass cabinetry touching the ceiling (10ft), under-counter LED lighting and lighting from the range hood enhance functionality of the workspace and beautify cabinet, counter and splash areas in the twilight and evening hours. Storage capacity almost doubled as the result of bringing cabinetry to the ceiling, adding pullout pantry shelving and utilizing corner spaces that previously had been inaccessible. The space is now far more functional and user-friendly than our original kitchen. Last minute tweaks to the plan led us to use natural stone surfaces and a counter-height table integrated into the island. The integrated table design provides an enlarged serving area and more available floor space compared to our previous arrangement with a freestanding table. Overall, the design provides functionality and beauty in a space where we spend lots of time visiting with friends and family. Apart from the superior design work, there’s yet another reason we’re glad that Remodel Works executed our project. The materials and workmanship from Remodel Works are beyond compare. Lance Hawkins was the project manager who supervised all aspects of the installation (plumbing, electrical, cabinet installation, counter installation, etc.). Things were done right… period. We couldn’t be happier with the result. FINAL REMARKS We highly recommend Remodel Works designer John Deluca and our project manager Lance Hawkins. John listened to us, solved our space problems and was able to design the kitchen of our dreams. After developing a plan for us, John continued to listen and adjust the plan to make sure every detail met our needs and desires. John was always available to help and offer advice as we made decisions along the way. Then he prepared CAD drawings making sure all details were correct for the project manager to execute. John and our project manager Lance Hawkins were always available and responsive to all the questions and concerns we encountered during the process. Lance offered advice and made sure we had all the proper information to complete the job successfully. The work-schedule delivered two weeks before project commencement allowed us to know who would be working on our job and what task they would be performing each and every day. The kitchen John designed and Lance executed exceeded expectations beyond our wildest dreams and was completed on time and on budget.

Remodel Works updated our 35 year old kitchen and two bathrooms. All of our many request were met creating the lovely functional rooms we envisioned. As promoted the schedule was met and quality of work is excellent. The craftsmen and their auxiliary were all professionals and mindful of their working in our home. Remodel Works provided a high end product at a reasonable price. Our design consultant, Steve Hellman was amazing to work with. He listed to us and integrated all of our design ideas and concerns, while guiding us along, using his skills and expertise. Steve is detailed oriented which was crucial for our small kitchen in order to get every inch out of storage needs while freeing up circulation space for movement throughout the kitchen. The showroom floor offered many styles and ideas for material selections. We were able to put a pallet together quickly with Steve's guidance. The renderings and construction drawings were a tremendous help in visualizing the final product. Coming from an Architectural background, I was impressed with the quality, accuracy, and level of detail of the CAD files. Steve maintained contact during the construction phase and until project completion. Lance Hawkins, our Sr Project Manager, was extremely professional throughout the process and oversaw all vital phases of the schedule. He checked in with us regularly to ensure our satisfaction and updated us on any progress or changes as needed. He provided a construction schedule that included daily activities and corresponding trades. Lance stuck to the schedule and completed our kitchen on the exact day as originally intended. Absolutely unheard of for a kitchen remodel. Some of the most important factors to us was the cleanliness, scheduling and organization of the day to day construction. The daily trades and subcontractors were all amazing people, respectful, and friendly. Remodel Works maintains relationships with their workforce and contractors, thereby providing a professional service that can be counted on. With two young children and a puppy in our house during this time, all workers completed a thorough cleanup on a daily basis. All costs were included and defined up front. Upon a few occasions, demolition revealed the need for additional scope requirements such as wall insulation, baseboard changes, and plumbing line alterations for which Remodel Works took care of with no additional charge. We couldn't be happier with the overall experience through design and construction, and the final product speaks for itself. Quality materials, professional service, and good people that looked out for our best interest. Remodel Works will most certainly be our first call for our next project. Thank you much!!!

This company was fantastic. We have never had a contractor who gave us a complete detailed schedule of work (including the names of who would be there, times, and what work would be done), AND they stuck to the schedule!! From the interactive planning with John De Luca who brings lots of good experience and ideas, to the workmanship and the quality of the products, we couldn't be more pleased. We had one minor issue which they took care of immediately. After almost one year of use, we're still very happy with the functionality and appearance. Our second remodel project with them, went Very well, right on schedule. Remodelworks makes sure to find out what you want and to keep owners informed so no unhappy surprises. In both this and our bathroom remodel they gave us a day by day schedule of work to be done, followed it closely, and finished on time. We had detailed plans and drawings, Mary and John, our designers, and our project Manager, Lance were very well organized, gave opinions and-made suggestions, allowed us to purchase some items on our own and make changes. They gave us a firm estimate and kept to that price. Minor problems were dealt with promptly. We enthusiastically and highly recommend Remodelworks

Working with Remodel Works Bath & Kitchen was a pleasure. The designer Steven, helped us greatly in designing the concept I had in my head. He paid attention to details that I did not even think about and the design rendering looked amazing. When construction was complete it looked even better, specifically our custom kitchen cabinets are amazing I could not have gotten these anywhere else. Our project manager Nick, helped construction go as smoothly as possible, and his crew Chris G., Jose, Chris Z, were very courteous and did quality work inside of my home. There were some unforeseen problems, which they could have charged me, but they dealt with those problems free of charge. This is not a company that will go after you on change orders, their focus is on quality and keeping you, the customer, happy. I had a great experience working with Remodel Works Bath & Kitchen and will use them again in the future.

“Found a gem after the flood” A catastrophic flood from a broken dishwasher forced us into an unplanned kitchen remodel. We’ve only completed the design-stage, but anticipate success with a large kitchen remodel designed by John De Luca of Remodel Works in Poway. John came out and took measurements of the kitchen remnant, reproduced the layout on a CAD system at Remodel Works, listened to input about our needs and wants, and then offered a substantially complete plan during our initial office visit. The spectacular plan included an enlarged island integrated with a stepped-down table, greatly enhanced cabinet and drawer storage, easy-access features we didn’t even know existed, and improved traffic flow. We met a second time in his office to discuss fine points of the design, including material selection and creating a focal point in a room with a 10-foot ceiling. There’s a lot of detail involved in a kitchen remodel, and John’s a detail person by nature. He’s a problem-solver who clearly explains options and the reasons behind a design while working to satisfy his clients. The showroom at Remodel Works is loaded with examples that John relies on to make his points and demonstrate alternatives. The new kitchen plan goes way beyond anything we would have dreamed about. We’re recommending John to our local community for remodeling work because we believe our neighborhood would benefit greatly from his designs. Remodel Works For a professional, quality job remodel works is the place to go. From my first encounter with John Deluca, an award winning designer, to the final day with Greg Ransweiler, our project manager, everything went smoothly. My kitchen was transformed into a beautiful functional room thanks to several ADA adjustments. John had many great design ideas and we discussed them thoroughly, choosing the appropriate ones. He was there to guide us the whole way. Greg was very detail oriented and kept our project going smoothly. He was always a quick phone call away to answer my questions. We knew everyday what to expect. Chris and all the other workers were professional and knowledgeable. When problems did arise, Bianca was there to listen and correct the situation. Overall a very caring company. I give them 5 stars!

From initial design to the finished kitchen, the process went very well. We wanted to open up our living area by removing a wall separating the kitchen from the dining room - living room and creating an island. We had limited space but our designer, John De luca, created a beautiful plan, including architectural renderings, which allowed us to have not only an open floor plan but also the island and an added bar and we still have a dining room! In addition, he gave us an attractive walk-in pantry with a sliding translucent glass door which adds lots of storage space. His choices for cabinetry, lighting, back splash, etc plus his recommendations for flooring and counter tops were perfect for our new contemporary kitchen. John Terrell, our project manager, has been great to work with throughout the remodel. He provided us with a detailed schedule for the project and stayed on schedule. He was always available and attentive, always concerned that our needs were being met in a timely fashion. All of the specialists and other professionals on this project were top flight and took a lot of pride in their work. We are very happy with our new kitchen and living space. Thanks Remodel Works! I wasn't looking for the cheapest company, I was looking for a company I could trust, rely on and that stands behind their work. Remodel Works certainly went above and beyond on these aspects. I never had to worry. Lance was always here and made sure that everything went smoothly. They even finished ahead of schedule. They did top quality work! Everything looks perfect! My bathroom has the most beautiful shower I've ever seen! I turned my shower into a closet which gave me a lot of storage space that I drastically needed and turned my bathtub that I never used into a shower and it's just opened up the entire bathroom and everything looks perfect! We love our kitchen as well! It's beautiful, looks so inviting and we love to prepare meals in here! It's also very functional, everything is so easy to find. The organization is top notch. They really thought it through with the design. It was the perfect combination of function and form for the both the kitchen and the bathroom. I couldn't ask for anyone better, I would recommend them over and over again and would call them back in a second!

The service and professionalism of RemodelWorks representatives and their contractors was excellent. From the design phase right through completion, the designer, project manager, and technician listened to our ideas and wishes and offered suggestions and solutions, all resulting in the great new bathroom we envisioned. Everyone was flexible with the minor issues and changes that needed to be done as the job progressed. The schedule provided was followed very closely and the job completed on schedule.

The remodeling and design went very well. Designer, John DeLuca, took the time to make sure that we got the look and feel that we wanted. Project manager, Jeff Aldridge, set up work schedule that worked out very efficiently for us. He stopped by everyday to check on the progress and answer questions we might have about the project. The technician, Ashley Kruckenberg, was prompt and reliable. He made us feel comfortable in any of the work that he was doing.
