That went fine. They were friendly, punctual, competent and reasonably priced.

Since all of their plumbers were on call, their manager came to do an estimate of the repair. He was very nice, helpful, and they scheduled a plumber out the next day to do the actual repairs, after the water damage people pulled out the shower. Since the water had to be shut off to the house until the pipe could be repaired, they were very accommodating to be available as soon as the pipes were accessible. They fixed the leak right away and worked after hours to finish moving the water heater and rebook the lines so I would have water throughout the house again. Since they could not put the water heater back until the damage was repaired, they were very patient and went over a week without receiving payment for the water heater job. The plumber and the manager were helpful, courteous, and answered all my questions. I noticed the water heater was leaking the day after the repairs were completed. I called them back and they repaired it that same day. I will use them again.

Awesome plumbers and top notch service. We had a nasty shower drain that had already defeated a lesser plumbing company. After two visits, 3 kinked lines, and reinforcement from the owner, they fixed the problem (old grout from original install) without reverting to an expensive hydrojet (which is what the other company wanted to do) and only charged me two hours. I will not use a different plumber after this-could not recommend them more strongly.

The morning our water heater stopped heating, I went on Angie's List to find a plumber. I also found a coupon in which Plumbing Plus offered to replace a water heater for $944. I called them immediately to see if they could come that day. When they gave us an appointment after lunch, I bought the coupon. The plumber arrived within the time period specified and replaced the water heater in just over an hour. He took the broken heater away, and we had hot water a little later in the afternoon. My husband was impressed with the plumber's skills and professional attitude. The problem was solved in just over 6 hours.

It took 4 visits and 2 plumbers to complete all 3 tasks satisfactorily. They did send a more expert plumber out the second time. One job was finished the first visit. The first plumber was supposed to do all 3 jobs. He only fixed the garage shut off. He couldn't clear the blockage in the master sinks and he made a mess that he didn't clean up. He replaced the valve in the faucet for the guest shower but it still continued to leak. The second plumber cleared the blockage. They didn't tell him what parts were needed to replace the leaking faucet so he didn't have the part. The third time he was supposed to come, he was sick with a virus. They were going to send out the initial guy, which I didn't want. I thought it was ridiculous that they even wanted to send him again and I told them not to send him. It was on the fourth trip that I actually had the third job completed. I still had some questions but I said to forget it. The faucet still works weird as far as the hot and cold but I didn't want them coming out again.

My experience was okay. They identified there was no gas leak however I still smell gas so I may have to get a 2nd opinion. Scheduling was easy and one technician came out to do the work. They were in and within 15 minutes. I do not think it was a real thorough inspection.

Work was done well and they arrived when they said they would.

When plumber David Kukric came in he insisted I sign a bill to begin work.. The bill; was for $416.63-159.00 for the free hour. When I asked why it was so much he said "that's what we charge for toilets". He finished the work in one hour, not two like he projected so I said I wanted him to only charge me for one hour. He said he couldn't "it's all set by the computer". After refusing to pay he went to the truck and called his supervisor and reduced the bill by one hour. So the new bill was $178.66 (plus the hour of labor I paid you). It still seemed like I was being over charged because I was supposed to get an hour of labor for the amount I paid you for the Big Deal. H said "That's what we charge for toilets". He wasn't very bright and didn't understand what I was saying. The last thing he said to me is "I shouldn't be penalized because I work fast". So I paid $178.66 for a couple of small parts he used. I think they ripped me off big time and owe me $176.86 minus parts. Can you help me recover that? I've used lots of you referrals and never had a problem before. An now I have a drip somewhere in one of my bathrooms! Judi Snyder

Our new residence had very hard (lime / calcium) water. After exploring options online, I emailed Plumbers Plus with what I was looking for. They called me the next day and Randy walked thru the various options and arranged a free inspection of our house plumbing to determine needs. He pulled together a comprehensive estimate, including drywall repair. The service was conducted promptly (after the conditioner unit was available) and the install was completed in a day and drywall repair the following day. We are extremely pleased with the results. Throughout the experience, Randy at Plumbers Plus was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. They did exactly what they said they were going to do, did it well, and ended up coming under the original estimate by a few hundred bucks. Will definitely be using these guys again for any future plumbing needs. *Highly* recommended.

I purchased a $39 "Big Deal" for Plumbing Plus to provide a Plumbing Service Call Plus One Hour Labor. Once I was ready to use the deal, the office manager (Kelly) managed to get me scheduled for service within just a couple of days of when I called, even though it wasn't an emergency. She quoted a two-hour window of time for the plumber to arrive, and on the day of service, the President of the company (Mike DeSilva) came out during the time quoted for arrival. Mike's service was excellent. I asked him a couple of questions about plumbing upgrading items that I was considering for the future, and then I directed him to the issues requiring resolve. He answered all my questions, and fixed each thing which I needed fixed. The additional cost above the "Big Deal" price was only $29, and TOTALLY worth it. If all their service is like this, I would definitely hire them again.

I purchased a "Big Deal" for $39 which was to include a service Call plus one hour labor. Plumber said Angie's list wrote the deal wrong and that I paid $39 for $159 of work. $159 happens to be the minimum charge for this Company to come out so my one hour of labor that was to be included was not valid. He changed out a simple cartridge on a Moen shower handle, less than 30 minutes of work. Plumber then proceeded to charge me $214.55 for labor which included $105.55 for travel time and $109 for the actual repair labor. He also added on a $35 charge for TOS, which turned out to be a 'Truck Operation Surchage' Only after I disputed and I had my "Big Deal" which I purchased printed out and about a 15 minute discussion, did he call sales manager and they ended up charging me for the part only which came out to be $102. They blamed the whole misunderstanding on Angie's list. Beware of this Company!

Larry was on time for the appointment and completed all work in less than half a day. Larry was able to use the drip pan for diverting leakage into the garage in the event of leakage - an important feature as we learned from the heater originally installed in the house. The installer was professional and very efficient and answer all questions we had about the installation. They recommended a scheduled visit every year and we've scheduled that visit. Excellent service and worth the costs.

The technician showed up, late, to my home on January 23. I had taken time off of work to be present at the scheduled appointment window. While your initial concern was that your technician would not be able to make it due to another job, he eventually completed the work and arrived at my house about 5 PM. These things happen. Mr. Lopez spent no more than 15 minutes in my home. He turned on and off the two faucets (tub and sink) a few times, diagnosed the problem as solvable by new cartridges and a new diverter piece for the tub spout/handheld connection. He tried the diverter, it didn't function, and he said it needed to be replaced. He took pictures of the fixtures, and assured me I would be provided a quote within three days. At no time did he examine the inside of a faucet, nor connections under the tub deck (accessible by door in surround). He stated we should install a water softener-though, according to water reports and consultation with chemists at the Water Authority, the water in our area is not measurably different than San Diego City-and, I lived on that system for 30+ years with no need for a water softener. Thirteen days later, I received the quote. Actually, I cannot call it an estimate-certainly, it lacks any monetary itemization to justify the almost $1,000 investment it proposes. Given the total, I decided I should take a look at the problem myself. I can now report, after taking the handle off of the diverter piece, tightening a screw and cleaning it with vinegar and water, that not only does the diverter valve fully function again to direct water... but the tub spout no longer leaks. This has been the case for the last week since my repair was completed. I've carefully read and considered the large number of comments about the company's prices, along with the responses regarding industry norms. However, when the estimate is based on a diagnosis that doesn't even involve fully examine a mis-functioning piece of equipment-it really doesn't matter what the industry norm is when what is proposed is far more parts and labor than necessary. Yes, of course we cannot guarantee my fix will last, like an entirely new fixture would. I really wanted to like this company-based on other reviewers' stated satisfaction with the service, setting aside concerns about price. This experience, unfortunately, has made that impossible. The company's response to my email inquiry indicated their belief that I deserved a refund for the Big Deal-bravo! In addition, they stated that "I hope that you can understand our policy to replace parts instead of trying to restore existing parts. As a licensed contractor, we must stand behind and warranty all repairs. If our technicians were rehabbing and re-building parts all of the time, we would be flooded (pardon the pun) with call-backs and minor fixes that don't hold. We always prefer to fix things right the first time, and while we are billing out a set labor rate, we feel that it is in the best interest of our clientele to receive the best possible repair, which usually means new parts. However, I would like to re-iterate that I am glad to hear that your repairs have seemed to resolve the problem. " So... if you're looking for a plumber that only replaces, doesn't fix things as first choice... this is probably not the service provider for you. Perhaps the entire plumbing profession has changed when I wasn't looking-and replacement is the only way.

The man who came out was nice but not overy nice. He did what I hired him to do. The drain seems to work better. The charge was twice as much of what would have been charged by my regular plumber A-Z Plumbing who are great. When the plumber was leaving (he parked behind me in my driveway) he demanded payment. I told him that the person I talked to at the main office never said anything about immedicate payment and I was not prepared to do so. He then called the main office who said payment should be made on the spot. Anyway it worked out in the end. After the plumber left and about 5 days I noticed that the main line was either not snaked or the plumber did not clean up around it as there was still some back up out on the side off the house. I called the office and they were great sent someone out the next day who took care of it at no charge. He was extremely nice and informed me of a lot about my sewage system as I have somewhat of a hybrid between a septic tank and a regular system.

The Big Deal offer offer is very deceptive and I did not receive what I purchased. The plumbing service, Plumbing Plus, did not recognize the Angie deal as stated on the deal – per the plumber what they do is charge their standard rate and then discount it by $159. When asked about what happened with the $39, the response was that’s not how they do an Angie’s List deal and you owe use $89.14. I called Plumbing Plus office to get more clarification and was told there is minimum they always charge. As you can see on the attached coupon (Angie deal) it does not state what the plumber or the Plumbing Plus office said. So he required us to pay more money - $89.14 more! I am quite upset by this – I feel like I have been taken advantage off and very disappointed in Aggie’s list. I make purchases from other discounted sites like “LivingSocial” and purchase items all the time; the purchases have never required more money than advertised and the service is exactly as advertised. The first time I use Angie’s – I am lied to. I will not use Angie’s list again. Angie’s List needs to pay me $89.14. You go to the trouble of getting the money back from the plumber, not us. Secondly, when the plumber arrived he was shown the issue with a toilet; the toilet was leaking from beneath the tank. So he replaced the toilet then after replacing and charging he says, “you could have done this yourself, you did not need to replace the toilet, you could have just gone to Home Depot for replacement bolts.”

Very professional from appointment contact to service completion. Kelly was accommodating with our schedule, explained the process and provided a quote on the phone. David arrived right on time, very knowledgeable and considerate. He gave me PhD in water heater care and maintenance and did and outstanding job with the installation of the new unit. He even helped me do some dry up from the old unit leakage. This is par for the course for Plumbing Plus. Kelly followed-up the next day to make sure all went well.

They wanted to charge an extra $150 on top of the Big Deal even though the Big Deal stated it included an hour of labor.

They were great. They showed up on time. They did a good job. The bill was comparable. I've had them do a couple of other things on different transactions since then so I would use them again. I didn't have to pay more than the "Big Deal" and on the other transactions since then, I only had to pay what the estimate was. They didn't add on anything. They found a slab leak for me and then I had a pipe break in the wall.

Great job! Very nice, plumber, very good service, and was done fast.

Work fine, but way over priced for work done & time spent.

Made a mess after promising no dust--failed to block off bedroom appropriately. Sloppy rough plumbing. Shower heads secured with cheap pop rivets that have already failed. Copper pipes already green where flux wasn't cleaned. Misplaced plumbing parts and asked us to get new ones from manufacturer (I later found parts placed in wrong box).

The plumber was right on time, clear about what needed to be done, and did and had it all wrapped up quickly. He was professional and gave me confidence in talking to him about the potential future issues. I'd use them again and likely will to get the branches removed from the pipe or to replace the pipe all together.

After we were able discuss the potential problems that may have existed Nate was able to diagnos the problem correctly.

Plumbing Plus sent Robert over only a couple of hours after we made the initial phone call. He promptly called us to give an estimated time of arrival, and kept to his estimate. Once there, he gave us our options - replace our PVC water line with copper, replace it with PVC, or just repair the leak. He also provided cost estimates for each of these options. We really appreciated having the choices offered to us. We decided to just place the leak, and he made a great effort to pinpoint the water main leak without calling in specialists (a relatively small but additional expense). Since the leak was under our sidewalk and away from the area where water was pooling, the specialists did have to be called in. Robert handled setting up an appointment with them (while talking with me to be sure the schedule worked for us), and he gave them the necessary background information so that it could be addressed quickly. Once the location of the leak was identified, he was able to remove a small section of the sidewalk, repair the pipe, and replace the soil that had been moved in the process. Since we had Robert there, we also had him look at a bathroom sink that had a small leak. We hadn't been able to locate where the leak was coming from, but he diagnosed it quickly, and replaced the broken part in no time. Overall, our experience with Plumbing Plus was excellent. We would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and will certainly call them if the need arises in the future.
