Plumbing Plus

I love the new hot water recirculation system that was installed in my master bathroom. It previously took 2-3 minutes to get hot water in my shower and now it takes about 15 seconds. The installer was on time and was very knowledgeable. I am very happy with the service I received and Plumbing Plus.

We were able to get same day service which was fantastic. We have an older home which always seems to require a plumber now & then. We have used Plumbing Plus 3x's since 2013. Most recently Isaiah fixed our bathtub drain, which required having to crawl under the house. He was fast, excellent and friendly. Easy to talk with and answered all questions. Great service, we will continue to use Plumbing Plus, it's a relief to find a company that we trust. We appreciate the quality service they provide. All their technicians have been great.

Isaiah Maher came promptly at 3pm for a 3 - 5 pm appointment. He was professional and asked me to explain my issue to him. Since I was not clear on the problem I explained the symptoms I experienced which were a puddle in laundry room and guest bathroom two times in one day. One time when washing machine was running and second time many hours later after taking a shower in a completely different bathroom. I also explained that I was not able to re-create the situation again the next day. Isaiah discovered that the guest bathroom toilet was never actually sealed. He was not able to recreate the problem either but I felt like he was very thorough in his investigation and he snaked the outlet pipe to insure that there was no blockage. He also recommended a regulator to reduce the water pressure coming into my condo (which was at 100PSI) and explained this was preventative and high water pressure would not necessarily break anything but would cause things to wear out faster. Being a single woman, I was concerned about being taken advantage of by a plumber but I felt very comfortable with Isaiah. I felt he was honest and professional. My friend's husband confirmed what Isaiah told me about the water pressure so I feel like he was doing a good job in providing me wth the service of that recommendation.

On the first visit he figured out what kind of cartridges we would need for replacement, as it wasn't a popular model faucet. He handled getting the part ordered and then came back a week later once he got the part in. The part was under warranty so we just had to pay labor. Isaiah was very friendly and worked quickly. He offered some suggestions to address our hard water that caused damage to the faucet cartridge. Not as a sales pitch, but just to be helpful. I would use their services again.

Made a late afternoon same-day appointment and David ended up coming at noon (after calling and making sure it was OK. He was courteous and very attentive, gave me an estimate (which I found a little high), but after I approved, he worked fast and efficiently and very accomodating.

The owner came out and was very nice and did an excellent job. This was my first experience with this company and I am going to use them in the future. I was very impressed.

The installations went smoothly. The kitchen faucet was under warranty from Moen which I didn't know, so Garret called Moen to secure a replacement faucet at no cost. That was a pleasant surprise. Garrett was very professional, helpful and very customer service oriented. The work area was immaculate when he was finished. I would highly recommend him.

The phone staff were very professional, friendly, and patient. They explained all of the details over the phone, and answered some of my other questions. The actual technician Isaiah came on time and was very friendly and knowledgable. He performed all of the necessary work and even gave me some tips on other plumbing questions I had. A very nice company to work with.

The plumber, Garret Joyner was impeccably groomed, soft spoken and very professional. He took the time to explain the system and what he was doing. He also told me approximately how long it would take. I would recommend him to anyone. He gave me a lot of information on the system, which I appreciated.

Plumber arrived on time and was ready to work. He isolated the hot water heater by closing the water inlet shutoff valve and turning off the water heater. He asked me to open a few faucets inside the house to clear any water pressure inside the piping system. He drained down the water heater to make sure no water flowed from the water heater outlet piping. The recirc pump was installed and water heater filled and turned on. We went inside the house and selected a faucet to install the sensor valve. The Plumber explained every step along the way and was very informative, but once everything was turned on and the recirc pump timer set, the Plumber left. The next morning I noticed there was hot water within seconds at the faucet with the sensor installed but no hot water anywhere else in the house. I texted the Plumber to let him know of the problem and he suggested to move the sensor to another faucet to find the one furthest away from the water heater. Later in the day I moved the sensor to the master bathroom and later that night found there was no hot water flowing from any faucet including the one where the sensor was installed. I texted the Plumber and notified him there was no hot water in the house and he replied that maybe I installed the sensor the wrong way. That evening my family had to heat up water to bathe. The next day we waited and hoped the system would balance itself and hot water restored but it never came back. I texted the Plumber and he said he would call me Monday am to schedule a time to visit. Meanwhile the family again had to heat up water to bathe and cook, etc. Monday am I texted the Plumber to find out when he would arrive as I took the morning off from work, his reply said his schedule was booked and only could stop by after 4pm or the next morning. I called the Company and firmly requested a Plumber to be dispatched to repair this installation before the end of the day and after some insistence, was told to expect a Plumber late morning. A different Plumber arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem. The hot water heater was not properly turned on and the hot water heater outlet valve was barely cracked open. Within the hour after starting the hot water heater, I had hot water throughout the house. I installed the sensor valve in the kitchen faucet later in the day and now the system works as intended. Perhaps the first Plumber should have waited around to make sure the recirc pump worked as intended before leaving. He also should have come back to troubleshoot and repair the installation the first time I texted him to report the problem. My recommendation for anyone considering getting this service, schedule it in the middle of the week instead of on a Friday and make sure the Plumber does not leave until the job can be validated to your satisfaction.

I called them yesterday (Sunday) when I noticed my hot water heater leaking...the professional that called me back about 15 minutes later explained to me that he could come out to turn off gas/water for $250 OR he could walk me through the process, which he did and all was turned off and the tank started draining....he said I would get a call about 7:30 the next morning, which did happen and I was told someone would be here between 11 and 1....Isaiah was here a little after 10:30 and replaced the hot eater heater and then explained to me how to keep it going for a long time....he also cleaned up everything....I have used this plumbing service before and they have always delivered....I like the fact that they are local (Poway) and I highly recommend them...

Professional, courteous and kind. It was a tricky setup and David had to get a special part. He stopped the leak and came back a second day to make sure it was fixed right. They went above and beyond to make sure it was better than my expectations....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Plumber "Nate" came today, on schedule, and did a very complete, very professional flush job on our Noritz water heater. I stayed with him throughout the job and as I observed and as we talked I came to recognize Nate has a very extensive knowledge of plumbing. He did exactly what I needed and expected to see him do and was fully equipped with the necessary tools for the job. He was also neat in his performance of the job, which included shoe covers when he needed to come into the house to check on our hot water after he re-connect the heater. I'm calling Plumbing Plus the next time we need help, and I'll be asking for Nate. We got this job on Angie's Coupons. The regular price would have been $179. The Angie Coupon was for $59.

This job went very smoothly. The technician came in the window they quoted and went right to work. He was professional and completed the job without issue. In fact they said they usually charged extra for going into an attic and because my water heater wasn't pre-plumbed to be flushed. They waived the extra charges and for that I am very grateful. I would recommend this company to any of my friends.

They were okay. Just like with many other things, just because this was covered by insurance I felt that they charged a lot. I don't think it should cost that much. But that's what they charged. I didn't have to pay. But they were pretty pricey. I think everybody does that because they know it'll be covered by insurance.

Garret came on time, looking neat, clean and looking professional in company uniform shirt. I had purchased the $49.00 special for water heater flush and plumbing inspection, I was expecting there might be a hard sell for some repairs, but he made some suggestions for things that could be done but there was no pressure. Overall I was very pleased.

I'd never had my hot water heater flushed, and knew I should do this, so when I saw the deal I thought "why not?" I am also getting my condo ready to rent and thought a once-over of the plumbing would be a good idea. The plumber arrived in the middle of my 2-hour window, which was appreciated. He was professionally dressed and very courteous and told me what he'd be doing and looking for. He pointed out a few concerns, but said they appeared to be building associated (condo), not my particular water heater. He also pointed out a few cheap(er) items the builder installed, but said there were no concerns yet, just when I was ready to fix or replace them, I probably wouldn't want the bare-bones builder quality components. There was no attempt to "upsell" on the deal, just a thorough provision of what was contracted for, which earned Plumbing Plus a spot on my personal preferred vendor list. Overall I was very impressed with the service. I would definitely recommend Plumbing Plus and intend to keep them on my short list for future plumbing needs.

They were very polite and patient. They worked with my schedule. They were accommodating and came on the weekends.

I have used these folks on several occasions and have always been pleased with quality and service, so when I had a toilet that was running very slow and not flushing completely, I asked my wife to call Plumbing Plus. Over the phone, the person my wife spoke with diagnosed the problem and said we would probably need a new toilet, that the brand we had was not a good one. A plumber came and didn't really check anything other than flushing the toilet and said the toilet needed replacing. He provided a bid for $750 to replace the toilet, and also kindly provided a quote to replace all three toilets in the house (at a discount) as they would probably all eventually go. My wife scheduled the appointment. This didn't seem right to me; the house is only three years old and we never needed a toilet replacement in our old house, where we lived 10 years (and with a much worse builder). I googled "slow toilet repair" and came up with dozens of sites with detailed directions on how to diagnose and repair a slow toilet. None of the sites even referenced the need to replace a toilet. Following the diagnosis steps from the website, it was clear that the problem was build up causing inadequate water flow. Using a hangar to clear holes, and $10 work of muriatic acid the toilet is as good as new! I am not particularly handy, and if I could repair it in 20 minutes, it's surprising that a knowledgeable plumber would have no idea how to fix a slow toilet. Either they are spectacularly incompetent, or (more likely) wanted the $750 for the new toilet. I would exercise caution if you use Plumbing Plus, and be sure the work you are suggested is actually necessary. I guess it's time to find a new plumber.

He came and did a good job. He was professional.

I called plumbing plus one Saturday morning. They said they be out in the afternoon. The plumber showed up just a few minutes late got right to work and cleaned out my main sewer line in about a half hour.

Had sudden major water leak on a Sunday under our home. I called Plumbing Plus on Sunday. They called back early Monday am and Plumber came out by 9:00am. He was wise, intelligent, clean, knowledgeable, pleasant, competent and thorough. He gave lots of good advice and paid attention to the integrity of the whole water supply system. He quickly fixed a hole in a copper pipe and replaced a faulty pressure regulator valve.He made a good recommendation for a remediation company. The service could not have been better.

Extremely disappointed in this service provider. The plumber had an attitude the minute he arrived by saying the work was going to take "all day" ( install a kitchen faucet and replace shower trim.) He even had the nerve of charging $155 to remove caulking around sink and replace. ( one hour of time --give me a break!) The assigned plumber said he did not have enough time to do all the work so even if we wanted to go ahead with the sink faucet he would have to charge us another $150 to return and install the shower trim.If you like getting ripped off and wasting time, I would definitely use Plumbing Plus.
