I called and made an appointment. Since it was going to take all day to complete due to the teflon coating, I had my son meet me so we couple spend some time to gether (I am in Oceanside and Detail Works is in Mira Mesa). I had to cancel and reset the appointment 3 times and he was always nice about that. When I got there they took the car in and when I came back it looked like new. I have a 2006 Acura TL w/ a clear bra which was cracking. He would not take it off due to concern for the paint job and let me know since I was the original owner it was probably under warrantee. When I got home, I checked my vehilce purchase papers and sure enough it was and the dealer is taking care of it. They did a great job and I have already recommended them.

We bought our 1999 Lexus LS 400 new and have never properly washed and waxed it, other than taking it through a car wash occasionally. The car was starting to look pretty ragged, so we decided to get it detailed. I spoke to a Lexus repair shop and a Mercedes repair shop, and Detail Works was recommended as an auto detailer that would would do a good job for a reasonable price. I made an appointment and brought the car in. They worked on it for a full day, and cleaned it inside and out, including the leather and mats and everything. They even removed panels, etc., in order to thoroughly clean the carpet under them. I requested they apply a Teflon coat after cleaning and polishing the outside of the car. The car now looks like it is brand new and is as smooth as glass. I was particularly pleased that they even polished the opaque headlamp lens back into crystal clear lenses. I was extremely pleased with the quality of the work and believe I got more than I was expecting.

Perfect. Now with every car purchase we take the car immediately to Steve to have his coating put on. He has done 3 cars and 2 trucks for us and we get top dollar when selling because of how well the paint and finish has held up on our high mileage vehicles. Recommend him highly.

The car (Prius) was very dirty inside due to carrying boxes that leaked (fruit juice?) on the back seat, roasted chicken in the trunk, and messy people in the front seats! Took it in at 8 AM and picked it up at 5 PM. The car was spotless! Great job!

I made an appointment weeks ahead of time, showed up on time, they took my vehicle into the bay promptly, raised the vehicle on a lift to clean the underside, lowered the vehicle to clean the upper side, and returned the vehicle to the waiting room, running and ready for me to go. I was in and out in about 45 minutes. The engine compartment was cleaned thoroughly.

I was not too happy with the service. The seats still had major stains on them that the attendant used a spray bottle to remove after we were told the car was ready. We asked to have an old sticker removed from the windshield which was not done until we told them that we asked, again after we were told the car was ready to be picked up. The seats were still pretty wet which might be normal - I am not sure.

I have two kids who are constantly snacking in the car. I find that the regular car wash can't get into all the cracker crumbs and such. On top of that, I had parked at the airport for a two week vacation, and the car looked terrible - was caked with dust. I called Steve, got an appointment, and after one day, the car looked like new. Since I had been there before, there wasn't as much work so the cost was less than originally quoted.

EXCELLENT JOB. THE CAR LOOKED AS GOOD AS WHEN I BOUGHT IT NEW IN 1997.
