Description of Work: Older Sub-Zero built-in freezer was leaking inside and part needed replacing. Very professional. Informative -- spent much time explaining why part needed to be replaced. Professional and prompt. Definitely not cheap, but excellent service.

Description of Work: We had an intermittent failure in a Dacor built in oven. They diagnosed the failure and recommended that we replace a circuit board. That did not work, so we replaced two boards. They did not charge extra for trying out the one board solution first. The cost was very high, but not due to Box Appliance rates. They were fair. The cost of the boards was what got the price so high. I am mad at Dacor for charging such high prices for their boards but pleased with Box.

+ 0 moreI was having several problems with my sub-zero fridge. When I called to schedule an appointment, the representative marked down my model # and the various problems with it. The repairman arrived early having called first to let me know. He quickly analyzed that I had a clogged drain - filled with mold - and cleaned that out, rather than a more costly repair of the condensor. He let me know what I needed to do in the future to avoid this problem. He also determined that the fridge door wasn't sealing properly as the gasket was torn. He had the parts on hand and was able to make the repair at that time. The fee was high as there was an $80 trip fee which was not applied to the repair. However, they informed me that in the future I could reduce my costs by having more than one appliance serviced at the same time.I will definitely use this company again for servicing my appliances. They are also authorized service providers for many of the higher end manufacturers.
Description of Work: There was a clogged drain which the repairman blew out. He also replaced the gasket and adjusted the door.

+ -1 moreThe service repairman showed up on time and quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to fix the problem immediately since he had the part available on his truck. The spring loaded self closing mechanism part was only approximately $75, but they have a fix travel charge of approximately 80 dollars and with their labor, the charge came up to above figure
Description of Work: My Subzero's freezer door self closing mechanism was broken and frequently the door had to be pushed to avoid being left opened.

+ -1 moreThe service tech got the work completed in a timely and efficient manner. He placed a protective cloth down on my hardwood floor and was good about cleaning up once finished. Box charges an $85 trip charge which is not applied to the total cost of repair. Between the $85 trip charge and the labor charge, a $50 part turned into a $323 repair, expensive but, hopefully, you get what you pay for. Work is guaranteed for 1 year.
Description of Work: My Sub-Zero Refrigerator's freezer was making a loud noise and it was no longer defrosting. Box is an authorized dealer for Sub-Zero. The service tech quickly assessed the problem and had the needed $50 part on his truck.

+ -1 moreWE SPOKE ON THE PHONE AND HE WAS VERY NICE. THEY COULDN'T MAKE IT AT THE TIME WE AGREED UPON, BUT THEY CALLED, AND WE SCHEDULED A NEW TIME. THEY CAME ON TIME AND WERE VERY NICE. HE TRIED THE WASHER AGAIN AND IT WORKED THAT TIME.

+ -1 moreBOTH OF THE SERVICE TECHS WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND THEY WERE VERY EFFICIENT IN REMOVING AND INSTALLING THE DISHWASHER AND EVEN TOOK EXTRA CARE TO NOT SCRATCH MY HARDWOOD FLOORS WHEN REMOVING THE OLD ONE. THE WHOLE PROCESS TOOK LESS THAN 35 MINUTES.
Description of Work: MY BOSCH DISHWASHER WAS FOUND TO BE DEFECTIVE. BOX APPLIANCE WAS SENT TO DELIVER AND SET UP THE NEW ONE.
