Description of Work: They fixed my 2 1/2 year old Kitchenaide dishwasher. It needed both pumps replaced, the control panel wasn't working correctly so it too needed replacement, and the water sprayer for the top drawer was broken off. The man was very kind about all the problems and showed me the parts as he removed them so that I could see that they were bad. I called the manufacture to let them know of the problems. They didn't want to pay for the parts because I had not bought their extended warranty. I was shocked and said that the machine should not have needed any parts replaced at that age. After much discussion and finally speaking with a person who has some authority, they took care of everything.

Description of Work: They were a lifesaver as our oven broke on a Saturday afternoon as we were planning to use it. We called Appliance Rescue and the lady who answered the phone had us immediately scheduled for repair within the next three hours. The serviceperson showed up about 8:30 p.m., and with the parts he brought had our oven fixed in a half-hour.

Description of Work: The serviceman was professional. Was extremely competent. He had to replace the heating element on my electric stove. The part had to be special ordered and he put a rush on the order for me. I was really happy with the service.

Description of Work: Appliance Rescue Service was the service provider for the extended warranty plan on our fridge. From the moment he walked in the technician was negative unfriendly and and unpleasant. He started by stating that he would be unable to work on the unit because he could not get behind it (not true). After spending a fare amount of time going on about what he couldn't do he finally tried (and succeeded) in getting behind the fridge. He claimed that there was corrosion and that the compressor needed to be replaced. He said the repairs would be expensive (apx $1300) and that the warranty provider would probably not approve it. He said he would put in the claim and we would see what they say. | |After not hearing anything for about a week, I called Appliance Rescue to check the status. I was told that the claim was denied by the warranty provider because of the corrosion. Further they told me that the denial was made that same day, one week prior. When I asked why Appliance Rescue did not tell us, they claimed that is the responsibility of the warranty company (of course, the warranty company says the opposite). After spending several days trying to figure out what to do, I called another repair company (found on Angie's List) to see if they would reach the same conclusion. The technician from that company had no problem with the access to the fridge. In a short time he determined that the problem was likely the starter for the compressor and not the compressor itself. Further, he had the part on his truck and was able to install it in about 30mins. Total cost, $163. The fridge has been working fine since then.

Description of Work: Toilet leaked. I thought it was from the base and serviceman stated it was from a loose bolt on tank and leaking down on floor. He tightened the bolt and secured the tank so it was no longer wobbly. Only charge was service fee.

Description of Work: Took inside panel over fan to see why and where the loud noise was coming from. Immediately showed us the unit was not properly defrosting and ice had formed everywhere behind the panel and was blocking the fan movement. He called us later that evening with the price of the parts and availability. Was extremely nice and helpful.

Description of Work: Nothing! He was confused by the problem and did not even look at the area of concern my husband tried to show him Then, he told us to fall back on Monday. Nevermind, ... my husband fixed it himself!!!

Description of Work: Repair man very knowledgeable pleasant and friendly. It took two trips because part had to come from Sacramento. Both visits he was prompt. Very good job and cleaned area very well after completion of job. Second visit he was training a new employee. Very patient and caring about training new employee. The repair man you could tell he loved his job, and loves training new employees also. Great Job!

Description of Work: Our Front loader whirlpool wash machine had stopped working and needed to have a service tech repair the unit. It gave me two codes which I looked up on the internet and did not help me much. I called Appliance Resuce DService ,since they were Whirlpool service trained. Maybe they would have parts in house. They showed up
