They did a great job. They were able to come right out. I was very impressed with them because they were able to answer all of my questions and give me precautions for the next time. I would recommend them to other people.
Description of Work: They came and replaced the motor in my freezer because someone didn't close the freezer and it caused it to burn out.

I had to call to get my dryer repaired when it wasn't working. They called to confirm the appointment before they came out. I have used them before and they have always done a good job for me. They will continue to be on my list of repair men.

Overall he was not bad, he really communicated what he was doing. The price was a little high and after he was done the leak came back. We asked him to check the stove burners, but he never came to fix them. We will never call them again.

It went very well. The company had someone out within a day or two He was on time, knew exactly what was wrong, and fixed the problem very quickly. He also replaced the rubber hoses with stainless still corded hoses, which do not wear out nearly as quickly. In addition, he did a quick tour of the house to give me energy-saving tips. Very nice, professional, knew what he was doing, reasonable charges (can't remember exactly what the cost was, but reasonable).
Description of Work: The motor driving the spin cycle on my washing machine wasn't working.

It went extremely well. They were able to schedule an appointment the day after I called (most others I called didn't have an appointment for another week). He showed up on schedule; gave a complete quote; had the part and was finished in about 20 minutes.

THE TOTAL COST FOR THE REPAIR CALL WAS $79.95 MINUS A $15.00 DISCOUNT FOR AN INTERNET COUPON WHICH MADE THE TOTAL COST $64.95.
Description of Work: THEY REPAIRED MY WASHING MACHINE. THE DIAL MECHANISM ON MY 25-YEAR OLD MAYTAG WASHING MACHINE BROKE. I INTENDED TO JUST REPLACE THE WASHING MACHINE WITH A NEW ONE. AFTER READING CONSUMER REPORTS LATEST WASHING MACHINE RATINGS, I REALIZED THAT I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO BUY A TOP LOADING MACHINE IN MY PRICE RANGE OF ABOUT $500.00 THAT WOULD GET THE CLOTHES CLEANED. I LOOKED FOR SOMEONE TO GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE AS TO WHETHER THEY COULD REPAIR THE WASHING MACHINE FOR A REASONABLE PRICE. THE FIRST FEW MAYTAG REPAIR COMPANIES COST TO COME OUT TO GIVE ME AN OPINION WAS TOO EXPENSIVE. 1-800 APPLIANCE CHARGES $19.95 TO GIVE A PERSON AN ESTIMATE AS TO WHETHER IT IS FEASIBLE TO HAVE THE WASHER REPAIRED. THEY SENT A REPAIR MAN OUT THE NEXT DAY, HE WAS ABLE TO REPAIR IT, AND HE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB.

I was only charged $20 for the visit. The technician said I could have the washing machine fixed but that I would probably get just another year or so out of it so I decided to buy a new one. I appreciated his honesty.

My stacked water and dryer is in a cabinet and repairman would not pull it out and therefore missed the problem. Refused to install a used spring on oven door. Insist the repairman thoroughly check the broken appliance. Also called another Appliance Repair who never returned our 1st call message on their answering machine. The appliance repair person who came out and did a good job at a reasonable price was Jim.
Description of Work: Water was leaking out of the back of the wall. The repairman decided it must be a clogged drain. Called drain repair, flushed out water & still leaked. Called plumber, who pulled out washer & found water underneath. Called another repairman who replaced the broken water pump. One spring, an oven door was broken. Repairman took info to get new one & found that brand was long longer made & new one unavailable. I got a used one & he refused to put it on. Second repairman put it on. Answered phone call immediately. Repairman available next day & came promptly. Misdiagnosed the problem with the washer, would not installed a used part when no new one was available.

Excellent. He showed up in the first 1/2 hour of the 2 hour window. Was super nice and got right to work. Found the problem and fixed it within 15 minutes. Even gave me some tips on some other appliances. I was very pleased.

They showed up in the alloted time slot and were very helpful to the tenant. I was pleased with the price and the fact that they took the time to advise the tenant on how to fix the problem (should there be the same one) the next time. My only complaint would be that they were not available to come out for a week. However, I tried several other companies on Angie's list and did not even get a call back to schedule an appointment.
Description of Work: They fixed the thermostat on the oven and calibrated the temperature. They showed the tenant how to determine if the temperature was correct and how to fix the knob if it should come off again.

Very nice and accommodating. Late for appointment by one hour, called a few minutes after the 10-12 PM window to say he would be another hour, which didn't thrill me.
Description of Work: It ended up being a consultation and recommendation for better performance. I had had two previous service calls (not with this company) and both had told me that the reason my Maytag dryer wasn't heating was the poor inside venting. Both had ''fixed'' the venting, but the performance never improved. So I told ARS this and they checked my outside vent, which I had replaced with one that is ''critter proof'', as I live on a canyon. The tech devised that the airflow out was not sufficient enough through this vent and that I needed to improve it - somehow. For me, this was worth $19.95, which was what he charged me for the service call. I brainstormed for a few minutes after he left and came up with a way to increase the airflow without allowing any unwanted visitors into the vent. Hooray! Warm dryer.

APPLIANCE RESCUE WAS QUICKLY ABLE TO DETERMINE THAT THE PROBLEM WAS A $10.00 SOLENOID, THAT SAVED ME THE EXPENSE OF A NEW DRYER OR SOMEONE ELSE CHARGING A LOT MORE TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM. I LIKE THAT IT IS ONLY A $10.00 SERVICE CHARGE THAT GOES TOWARDS THE REPAIR BILL.

THEY WERE PUNCTUAL. FIRST VISIT WAS FREE SINCE THEY DID NOT STOCK THE PART. THE PART TOOK ONE WEEK TO ARRIVE, THEY REPLACED IT QUICKLY AND EVEN CLEANED THE ENTIRE WASHER INSIDE, OUTSIDE AND UNDERNEATH.
