GRAND OPENINGS DOORS and WINDOWS

We have used Grand Openings on several occasions. They installed several new doors and windows at our previous residence several years ago and liked them so much we hired them to replace our crummy old French door with a new sliding door at our new house that we purchased last year. Ken is great and his crew is professional and courteous. We plan on upgrading our existing aluminum framed single pane windows with new dual-pane energy efficient ones in the next few weeks and Ken is the one for the job, we are not even going to solicit bids from others as we know what we're getting with Grand Openings. What I really like is that they are able to perform 'new construction' to install our windows (unlike a simple retro-fit) to guarantee exceptional insulation and energy savings. Most other window installers cannot or will not do that. I highly recommend them.

They were professional, not pushy. Easy to work with. Offered advice and gave references for services that they did not provide.

It was a pleasant experience. The owner does the work, so it was nice to deal with only a couple people.

I like to wait a while before submitting a review or referral as a little time allows any problems to pop up. However, this has been a positive experience. The owners Judy and Ken were very knowledgeable and professional. We worked out very competitive pricing. Crew did a professional installation job. We are very pleased with the result.

Ken and Judy are friendly people. It took a while to decide what door we wanted and when it could be installed. They are a busy company. I particularly like the attention to detail when Ken and his employee installed the door. The door itself was of exceptional quality and priced fairly. If you want a good quality product and are not in a big hurry to get it, then you can't go wrong with this company.

We contacted a number of companies before deciding to go with Grand Openings to replace our bathroom windows. Here are the reasons we decided to go with Judy and Ken rather than the other 4 window companies that actually responded to our inquiries: 1) Prompt and courteous response to calls and messages that we left 2) Nice showroom with examples of various window options available. This allowed us to see the difference between two name brand windows and helped us finalize our decision. Our 3 year old son had a grand time (pun slightly intended) opening and closing the sample patio doors and windows in the showroom. 3) Detailed estimate given in writing, with no pressure to make a decision right then and there. Some of the other companies gave very vague descriptions of what the estimate included, while Ken and Judy listed exact model #s and all window options and measurements on their estimate. One company that we were initially considering offered us a good price on a reputable window brand, but pressured us to make a decision that day. When we called this other company the next day with some changes to our options, the sales person wrote up a new estimate with a different price, but it wasn't until I pressed for some more details on the estimate that it was revealed that the new estimate was for a different, unknown brand of windows. We immediately scratched that company off our list after what we considered to be almost a "bait and switch." With Grand Openings we always felt like we knew exactly what we would be getting. The actual installation went very well. The completed job was very clean inside and out, and the new windows have certainly made our bathroom a much cozier place with no drafts. We will certainly be keeping Grand Openings in mind if we ever decide to change our front doors, as they had a nice selection of doors in their showroom.

Dealing with Grand Openings could not have been a better experience. Their pricing was slightly lower on the windows and substantially lower on the installation (I priced 4 companies). Judy, who took the order, couldn't have been more pleasant. Kevin who came to the house to check the measurements was helpful. Grand Openings has in-house installer so no having to coordinate with a separate installer. The installation guys were prompt and professional. They left the house cleaner than they found it. They were a joy to have around. The even hurried to get a window done for a cranky toddler's nap time. They completed 3 windows and a slider in 6 hours. I am amazed that Grand Openings had the best prices with flawless service. I highly recommend them.

IT IS A FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS. THEY ARE VERY HONEST AND PROFESSIONAL. I HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM TO MY FRIENDS. I HAVE HAD TREMENDOUS LUCK WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY HAVE REASONABLE PRICES.

THEY WERE EXCELLENT. THEIR PROMPTNESS AND TIME WAS EXCELLENT. THE QUALITY OF WORK WAS VERY GOOD BECAUSE THEY OPERATED IN A TEAM. EVERYONE WAS ASSIGNED A JOB AND THEY FINISHED IT IN HALF A DAY.

THERE WERE THREE GUYS WHO DID THE INSTALLATION, AND THEY WERE GREAT. IT TOOK FIVE OR SIX HOURS FOR THEM TO DO THE WORK, AND THE WORK WAS DONE NICELY.
