Very professional from first phone call requesting estimate to the completion of the job. We had three huge Mulberry trees that were very neglected that needed shaping and four huge Cypress trees that needed removal. The crew arrived 30 minutes prior to appointment which allowed us to move our cars and immediately started working. Our Mulberry trees were shaped completely to our satisfaction and the Cypresses were completely removed. All debris was removed and our yard was left very clean. It was explained to us that tree topping will destroy trees or their shapes; A & J Tree Services does not top trees which made us very happy. There cost is very reasonable We have already scheduled next years appointment with them. We would recommend this company highly!

Roland was very responsive when I called and he came the same day to give me an estimate. When we scheduled the work, he and his crew arrived on time and finished the work in record time, making sure that everything was cleaned up and hauled away. I will definitely recommend them and use them again.

We found them on Angies list and called on a Friday morning. Armando (The "A" of A & J), said he would come by in the afternoon for an estimate. He came on time and was personable and professional. I explained the work that needed to be done and he gave me the estimate which I accepted as it was a fair price. The work involved me moving a camping trailer and I would only be able to do it that day or have to wait a week. I was lucky in that they had a crew close by and was able to do the work that day. The Crew came by and went to work (2 trucks and about 5-7 guys total). They made quick work of it, cleaned up well, and made sure I was satisfied with the work. Overall I was very pleased and when these trees need trimming in the future, I won't need to search Angie's list again, I'll just call A & J.

The estimator was able to come out the same day to give us a quote. He was very professional and on time; he totally knew what he was talking about. He knew exactly the kinds of trees we had and how best to trim them. His estimate was free and he offered to look at a few other plants because we were having some issues with them. We called him back later the night of the same day he gave us the quote to book the job. They came several days later to begin the work and the job was done within 4 days. The owner brought a couple of his boys with him; they came on time and were professional; very nice. It was a very good experience and I highly recommend them. They were very knowledgeable about all the plants and trees that they work with. They were very friendly and it was a no-pressure situation.

I phoned the A & J Tree Service company and Roland came out to give me an estimate. He told me exactly what needed to be done and gave me a bid. He was very polite and professional and so I felt confident in hiring him to do the work. They came today and were on time. I was very concerned about my neighbors property, since my trees were growing over into the neighbors yard. They have a covered barbeque and so the tree trimmers were very cautious when they trimmed the tree. They actually tied the limbs as they were trimming to make sure no damage was done to my neighbor's property. They also did a very good job cleaning my neighbors yard. I also had a great deal of avocados left on the trees and Roland and his crew were kind enough to pick all the fruit for me and bag them. I definitely would recommend their tree service to anyone needing work done. I would also use them again in the future. I feel very relieved now that it's done, since I had been very anxious about the liability to my neighbor's property. I called my neighbor before they left to see if everything was okay and he said he thought they did a very nice job.

The owner came out the day after I called, as scheduled and on time. He gave me a quote that was $250 less than another highly rated company on Angie's List. He described what his personnel would do. They came out on the day and time as arranged and did a very good job on removing the tree and trimming the other. The only issue I had was that their truck didn't have enough space to take away all the waste - they had leftovers from a job earlier that day. Otherwise, I was very satisfied with their work and I would highly recommend them.

They came on time, they talked to my husband about the work and the estimate time. They came in, did the work, they were very clean, very professional, and they knew what they were talking about.

Armando came to give us a quote, listening carefully to what we needed done, and gave us his estimate. He assured us, "I will not leave until you are 100% satisfied!" It was more than we wanted to pay, initially, but after we saw the magnitude of the job and the expert way he and his crew did the work and cleanup, we were more than happy to pay what he asked (he didn't require payment up-front, but waited until they were finished with the job to get his payment). Armando and his son Rolando even came back a few days later and offered to take all the trash that had been stored on the side and in the back yards, at no extra cost. These men were a total blessing to us, and we would happily recommend them for any yard cleanup and tree work. Excellent work and clean-up, great to work with.ba "

A & J did a fabulous job. They arrived exactly when promised, even though there was still some snow on the ground. The cleared the area better than I had hoped, cut out the small "weed" trees, cleanly cut all the dead trees and thinned out areas around some ornamental trees to make them healthier. Their chipper was big enough to handle all the cut trees and the area was completely cleaned up before they left. I can hardly wait for summer to see how beautiful the results will be. Al is very knowledgeable about trees. I'm happy enough with this job that I'm having them back here in April to trim all the lawn trees on the west side of the property and remove a couple of dead pine trees.

Our house had a maple of some sort very close to the north side of the house. It recently started to touch the roof of our house so we called to have it removed to prevent any future trouble (plus it was an ugly tree). Allen came out for an estimate within a few days and came over and removed the tree a day or so after that. Very prompt, efficient, and courteous - I didn't even realize he was in the side yard he was so quiet! Cut the wood into manageable sizes and stacked neatly next to the house for use in our fire pit. Highly recommend - we're going to contact him for an estimate on some other landscaping work we need help with later this summer. Allen's the owner and will do what seems to be almost anything to do with trees and landscaping.
