Great! Came on time, went directly to work, meticulously cleaned work place after finished.

I had a leak around the base of this toilet, we had the leak before and replaced the wax ring ourselves. I did not want to do the work again and I suspected an additional problem. I also like the Toto line of low flow toilets, they flush much better than the stock toilets the builder put into my house. So I decided to have Valley Plumbing install an new Toto toilet and see if they could find the cause of the leak. They came the day after I called and installed a new toilet and wax ring and recommended a new supply line and angle stop($14 for both) since David (the plumber) could not find any reason for the leak. David indicated that if the leak recurred they could come back at the cost of time and materials and investigate further. this job was $296.75 parts,$217.88 labor and $25.97 tax.

I purchased a new faucet from Valley and scheduled to have a new sink, garbage disposal and faucet hooked up after my new counter tops in the kitchen arrive. Tech was on time and very competent. quote was in line with actual price paid. Neighbor had Ben. Franklin do a similar job and it cost her over $1000.

Making an appointment was done easily in one call and was scheduled for the next afternoon. We were given a window of sometime between noon and 4pm, and plumber arrived at 11:40am and completed work in about 40 minutes. He was polite, efficient and cleaned up the area when he was finished. Best of all, we have no more leaks.

INTEGRITY BEFORE PROFIT: Their slogan says it all. Earlier in 2005/2006, another plumbing company had worked on this and left me a very dissatisfied customer. Upon my pointing out that the pump was not running the way it should, they (i.e. the "other" plumbers) claimed to know better and said "that is how it is supposed to run". I was informally referred to Valley Plumbing by the City of Pleasanton for whom they do work. When they showed up, I found the supervisor (Daryn?) to be patient and methodical. And utterly honest. They charged me for fewer hours than actually spent (need I say, without my asking!) when they realized that they had initially misdiagnosed the problem. The pump system is complex and needs several adjustments before it stabilizes. Valley Plumbing has been kind enough to make extra visits (need I say, at no charge!) to make the necessary adjustments. This is one plumbing company that takes customer satisfaction seriously. Kudos to them. May their tribe increase!

James replaced our water heater and did an exceptional job. The job was bid in detail over the phone prior to the work and the company offered to complete required city permits at cost. The replacement took about four hours and we were up and running with hot water later that morning. The originally scheduled appointment was missed and the company called toward the end of the time window to tell me the tech was held up at another job. This meant rescheduling for another day, and though a bit inconveniencing, they did offer to come that evening if necessary, though I chose the following day. The job quality made up for this hassle.

James showed up on time and went through all the steps as he proceeded. James was polite and answered many questions. The cost was as estimated. We would use them again and we recommend Valley Plumbing.

Jason showed up on time, finished quickly even though the faucet was very difficult to remove. He was clean and polite.

Setting an appointment time for the next afternoon was good and the plumber appeared within this time window. He was experienced (ten years), came with the correct fittings and plastic pipe, and worked quickly and efficiently. Having done a great deal of home plumbing in my lifetime, I was impressed. He finished in a little under two hours.

Reliable, punctual, excellent service. Definitely will call on them again.

On the whole the work was very well done. James was always on time and polite. Very helpful in pointing out areas requiring upgraded materials, etc. Fixed problems well. I was a little disappointed when they charged me for a show-up fee when there were extenuating circumstances which they were already aware of. They fixed problem by waiving this fee. It is a very good sign when a company is willing to make this kind of adjustment if warranted.

In 100 plus degree weather, the installer arrived promptly and went to work. It took him about 2 hours to complete the job. I bought this new water heater over the phone after finding this company to be highly rated by Angie's List reporters. (I did make made one other phone call to the company that had installed my old water heater 17 years ago and they quoted me the same price for a new one--but they could not come out until tomorrow.) I think Valley Plumbing is a very good company, but if you are young (which we are not) and able, you could probably do the work yourself and save about $250.00 in labor. But then again, if you had done the work in this 100 degree weather, you may have ended up with a case of heat stroke!

The service was excellent. They were on-time, easy to work with, and everything that was installed works very well. It was very easy to set up an appointment with them. They have good customer service. I have already recommended them to friends.

EMPLOYEE WAS CLEAN AND CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF. SHOWROOM HAS DISPLAYS OF MANY DIFFERENT FIXTURES TO CHOOSE FROM. REPAIRS AND INSTALLATION WERE DONE SATISFACTORILY ON THE FIRST TRIP.

THIS COMPANY WAS VERY FAST TO SET UP AND TAKE CARE OF OUR APPOINTMENT. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME AND FINISHED QUICKLY. THEY TESTED THE GAS AND MADE SURE NO PROBLEMS WERE THERE BEFORE LEAVING.

VALLEY PLUMBING WAS ABLE TO COME OUT ON VERY SHORT NOTICE. THEY WERE HERE THE VERY NEXT DAY AND GOT THE FAUCET REPLACED QUICKLY. THEY WERE VERY EFFICIENT.

VALLEY PLUMBING WAS VERY HELPFUL. THEY SHOWED US THAT GETTING A HOT WATER HEATER THAT IS RATED FOR OUR SIZE FAMILY WOULD SAVE EVEN MORE MONEY MONTHLY. THEY DID A GREAT JOB. THEY WERE VERY QUICK ON THE INSTALLATION.

THEY DID A VERY FINE JOB AS THEY HAD TO DO ALL THE WORK FROM START TO FINISH INCLUDING GETTING THE CITY PERMIT. THEY CALLED THE CITY TO SCHEDULE THE INSPECTION AND WERE ON TIME WITH THEIR JOB.

VALLEY PLUMBING IS VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB INSTALLING THE NEW SINK. THEY CHECKED ALL THE SUBFLOORING UNDER THE SINK TO BE SURE IT WAS NOT WATER ROTTED. THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB.

SERVICE WAS FAST AND WE HAVE NOT HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE TUB BACKING UP ANY MORE. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PROMPT. THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL FROM THE FIRST PHONE CALL TO THE FIX JOB.

VALLEY PLUMBING HAD A GOOD PRICE ON THE WORK I NEEDED DONE. THEY TOLD ME ABOUT THE COUPON IN THE YELLOW PAGES THAT SAVED ME EVEN MORE. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND HELPFUL.

VALLEY PLUMBING SENT A GENTLEMAN OUT TO LOOK AT THE PIPE & FIX THE PROBLEM. IT DID NOT TAKE TOO LONG. THE MAN WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE PLUMBING. HE WAS HELPFUL.

VALLEY PLUMBING WAS VERY HELPFUL. THEY APPLIED AND PICKED UP THE PERMIT NEEDED TO REPLACE THE HOT WATER HEATER. THEY WERE FRIENDLY AND VERY POLITE. THEY ADVISED US IN THE HOT WATER HEATER TO BUY FOR THE SIZE OF OUR FAMILY.

THEY FOUND THAT A TREE HAD GROWN AROUND THE DRAIN PIPE LEADING TO THE SEWER. THEY DUG UP THE GROUND CUT THE ROOT, AND REPLACED THE SECTION OF PIPE, AND THE DRAIN IS NOW FINE.

THE WORKER THAT CAME OUT WAS VERY FAST. HE DID NOT WASTE TIME. HE GOT RIGHT TO WORK, UNCLOGGED THE DRAIN. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY. HIS PRICES WERE VERY GOOD.
