Description of Work: We just bought a home and needed the lock to the front door rekeyed. Tri Valley had good reviews here, so I decided to give it a try. Daryl (owner) showed up on time and was friendly and helpful. Our door has a unique lock mechanism, and Daryl showed me how it worked. He was only able to make one copy of the key because he had to special order the blanks. About a week later, I met him at his shop to have more copies made. At the time he mentioned the newer copies might not work because the lock mechanism is so touchy, and he was right. When I called him again, he suggested I meet him at a job site so I wouldn't be charged a house call fee. Then he spent almost an hour trying to get me working copies of my lock, and he didn't charge me for the time or the extra blanks he had to use. I would definitely use him again for any locks not easily replaced with a commercially available ones.
