Protection 1 Pleasanton

It went well. I had to talk to a supervisor regarding availability, he finally committed to our required time. They showed up on time. The person that serviced the unit was very courteous and pleasant. He did a great job. I was very happy with the service.

Called Protection One after our house was robbed. When we went to sign the contract they wanted to check our credit. We told them no we were in the middle of a refinance and it could effect our credit rating and interest rate. They claimed that all other companies check your credit, which is an outright lie as no other company that gave us a bid wanted a credit check (we doubled checked afterward). The gall was that we have been paying our bill on time for over 7 years and the installation and monitoring was going to be on a credit card. My thought?, I don't give Target or Safeway the right to check my credit when I buy something from them so it is none of your business what my credit is (by the way it's excellent). Needless to say we walked away and are looking for another Alarm company for both our business and home. Doesn't this company know that it's a recession and customer service is number one? If this is how they treat a regular customer, everyone needs to stay away!!!

They do a very good job. Their customer service is excellent. One time my battery was beeping on my key pad, so they came out and replaced it for me for free. The people that work there are always willing to help. I have had no problems with false alarms or extra charges for anything.

Company made 2 appointments, no show for both. Told me I was signing for 1 year of service and I got 2 years. I pay 39.00 a month and they have misbilled me 3 times. I get a lot of false alarms on my sensor. The owner of this branch is ruder than rude!

THEY DO A PRETTY GOOD JOB. THEY ARE VERY RESPONSIVE IF THE ALARM IS SET OFF. THEY CALL ME AND IF I DON'T ANSWER, THEY CALL THE POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENT. I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THIS COMPANY.

We have an alarm system in our home that hasn t been updated in a while, so we called Protection One out to look at it. They were great. They updated our alarm system in a very timely fashion. I found the men to be very professional and trustworthy and I was also pleased with the price they charged us.

FRIENDLY STAFF, BOTH FOR THE IN HOME VISIT AND FOR PHONE CALLS. WHEN WE HAVE ACCIDENTALLY TRIPPED THE ALARM, THEY HAVE BEEN RESPONSIVE TO OUR CALLS. WE HAVE ALSO 'TESTED' THEM TO SEE IF THEY WOULD CALL US AND THEY HAVE IN A TIMELY MANNER. IT WAS RE-ASSURING THAT THE SERVICE WE'RE PAYING FOR RESPONDS.
