Just so that you all know we paid 97% of total project cost upfront to Camy even before a single day of work was put in or any materials were bought by her. So it is not that she wasn't paid on time for her to act the way she did. Here are some examples of her shenanigans: Kitchen counter top install delay of 5 weeks. No response to our repeated texts and calls. When she responded she blamed on her crew. For almost 6 weeks (March-April) we were left waiting for her crew to show up & finish up bathroom remodel. Turns out her crew was waiting on materials which she never ordered. As usual blamed everyone else. Ordering of tiles for bathrooms. Countless delays & blaming it on vendors. Whereas when we contacted vendors they told us she never ordered tiles. Ordering shower doors. Once again a delay of 5 weeks & as usual not Camy's mistake but vendor messed up. Kitchen cabinet repaint was a disaster. You guessed it not her responsibility but ours. Her crew destroyed our $900 window shade. Took her 5 weeks to get one & that too being reminded repeatedly. She will arbitrarily change design without informing you. So beware of that as well. We did get our project done but it was such a nightmare & took a herculean effort to have this liar aka Camy get our project done. 11 months in total from when payment was made to completion as compared to a promised timeline of 4 months. The sub contractor she works with Jonathan Kolkman is of same mould as her.Under no circumstances should you hire or pay any money no matter how small the dollar amount is to Camy Doan and/or Jonathan Kolkman. Camy uses fake CSLB license #1006800 on her contract. A license # that isn't even issued to her but to some other business. As far as Jonathan goes he has tons of complaints against him on Yelp. Check BlackHawk Roofing in Oakland. I later found out that he has an expired CSLB license. Bottom line, Camy is a grade A certified liar, crook and a deadbeat individual. Hire at your own risk.
