We engaged with Dan after meeting him at the Pleasanton home and garden show earlier in 2013. Liked his professionalism and results from previous projects. Our biggest challenge with him was his punctuality and follow up. After signing up for a landscape plan, we held a meeting at our home and shared our desires for the project. He took notes and stated he would respond back with an initial plan. We needed to chase him down for a response after not hearing from him for 2 plus weeks. This turned out to be a common problem. We provided feedback to his response and then had to chase him down for a revised plan. It took over 12 weeks to get a plan that was close to final. I'm sure he was busy but we wanted to get our plan finalized so we could complete the project before summer ended. We requested him to quote the project and found him to be very expensive compared to other contractors on the paver and garden wall project quotes. We decided to work with another paver contractor. We never received a final paver plan and the planting plan provided had some conflicts with the scale which have lead to some challenges in completing our project/

WE REALLY APPRECIATED THAT HE LISTENED TO WHAT WE WANTED, AND INCORPORATED THAT INTO THE DESIGN. ALSO, THE PRELIMINARY AND FINAL PLANS HAD WHAT WE WANTED PLUS SOME UNIQUE TOUCHES THAT HE ADDED. WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THE OVERALL DESIGN. AS WE HIRED HIM DURING THE BUSY SEASON, IT DID TAKE A WHILE TO GET THE PLANS.
