Contractor was responsive and punctual. Samuels services were very satisfactory.

It was somewhere between $5000 and $15000. It was very reasonable and they were in ballpark with two others. I had the French drain put in by one of the other contractors and so since I had seen what they did, that was in their favor, so I chose them. The interactions were fine but I had to call him back to get him to send me the quote back, he forgot. The information I got in the quote was fine. Everything was proper.

Paul Samuels is your guy. It was time to replace the claw foot tub in our very tiny, only bathroom. The tub seemed like a good idea 15 years ago when we remodeled our 100 year old farmhouse, but not anymore. Paul Samuels came to our house 5 times before we had even decided to contract with him. He brought samples of materials, lists of references and potential suppliers, asked and answered questions. We all had a clear idea of what was desired and expected before the project even began. We never felt as if he was pushing, just that he wanted us to know all the possibilities. His estimate was fair and reasonable. Throughout the remodel, Paul was there to inspect, oversee and assure everything was done completely and done right. He encouraged and cajoled subcontractors to deliver and meet deadlines. More than once we were told by a subcontractor that the installation would be done “a week from Friday” only to have them come back after talking with Paul to do the install “day after tomorrow”. The Samuels Construction crew (Victor and Manuel?) was great. Skilled and efficient, leaving the job site neat and clean every day. It was a pleasure having them work in and around our home. The project was completed before expected and we are so pleased. Best shower ever! As time went on, Paul pointed out some improvements that could be done for stability of the house. Again, price was reasonable, we never felt as if it was a sales pitch, simply advice from a guy who knows (because we knew his suggestions were spot on). That extra work was done along with the shower remodel. No matter the size or complexity of your project, we highly suggest you give Samuels Construction a call. From a shower remodel, concrete, additions, foundation issues here is someone who can do the job for you and do it well. We feel as if we have found someone who can do any job for us, no more searching. We’ll contact Samuels Construction to handle those many items on our ‘to-do’ list in the future.

We had a great experience. Paul and his teams were professional. They showed up preparred for each day on time and completed when and how they said they would. More importantly, on time and within the written quotes.

Paul knows construction and works to best practice and knows and understands all codes. (He has a good and loyal crew.) He worked well as a team player with my structural engineer and with county building inspectors. Gives a lot of attention to special details and is very neat and organized. The dining room was a long project April to October and was plagued by the unusual spring and summer rains of 2011. They developed a tarp system to keep working and shelter our home. The crawl space at our house is horrible so those guys deserve a medal. Can handle an entire house, or come by and replace my hot water heater (last month) or re-do a bad contactors' heating/ducting job. Came on time and stayed on task 99% of time. Good communication skills. When something goes wrong, my first thought is to call Paul. Don't need speed dial as his number is memorized. If you watch Holmes on Homes on HGTV you will think Paul is his brother.
