+ 0 moreTom did a fantastic job. He gave the handrail a furniture quality conversion finish that turned an eyesore into a fine piece. His work was top notch and my wife, who is difficult to please, was very happy with the results.
Description of Work: Tom painted the balusters and used conversion coating on the hand rails of our staircase.

+ -1 moreWe had visit coming over the following week, so Tom offered to do the job in one day (2 coats). On top of that, we had to leave the house in late afternoon. He was on time, focused on the job and finished everything just in time! Tom is professional and very friendly. He also suggested a few tricks about finishing stair rails and restoring kitchen cabinets. I would definitely use him again for future projects.
Description of Work: Painted two large and tricky walls. One went above a set of stairs, so reaching the top was complicated. The second went above kitchen cabinets, which made the detail cutting hard.

+ 0 moreWonderful project! wonderful contractor! Tom is quite the master painter. He is experienced and paints a very nice cut in line. He has provided and executed on a number of different surface finishes and paint types for us over the years. Tom is professional and knowledgeable and after he takes on your job you can redirect your worry toward your next project cause this one is going to be done right!
Description of Work: In this latest project Tom took on and painted a new house for us ceilings, walls, doors, and trim. He worked us into his schedule and still met ours. We used a typical EggShell finish, with Semi-Gloss where it was needed and finished up the trim, crown, and doors with a Semi-Gloss white that made everything pop nicely.

Description of Work: Tom Carlson of Referable Painting painted all the interior and exterior trim of our house. Also, he fixed and painted several water-damaged walls and woodwork. Tom's knowledge of using the correct product and using the proper application methods insures a great finished product.
