This the Fourth time I've called Phoenix Energy Solutions in the Last six months.The first time was At one of our rental properties in Sacramento. We had an air conditioner that was not running at all and had gotten an estimate from another Heating and Air Conditioning Company that quoted us the repair cost of $1235.00 to do the necessary repairs. Phoenix Energy Solutions repaired it for $235.00 and the air conditioner has been working very well since. The second time was for a furnace at another house that we had been told was irrepairable by another Company and that we needed to purchase a new furnace for $4,2010.I again called Phoenix and they said all it needed was a new ignition part and they had it in their truck.The total cost was $277.00. The third time was for another furnace...knowing their honesty and work ethic we called them again and didn't even bother to get another estimate..again they came on time and repaired it promptly.The cost was $175.00. My air conditioner quit working during the last part of the summer and I had been putting off getting it done as I had been previously adviced that I probably needed a new air conditioner by a local Company. Because I live in the El Dorado Co. Foothills I didn't think they would come out this far without charging me extra for the distance as most contractors do. Fortunately they have an office in Cameron Park and there was no extra charge! All my air conditioner needed was a run capacitor and now it's good as new! Phoenix Energy Solutions has been amazing to deal with...I appreciate it all they've done...no pressure ,no hassles...great people to deal with...just good Honest work!!!

Phoenix Energy Solutions is a small, Sacramento-area business. They do primarily HVAC work, but also install solar systems. Micah is the owner, or one of the owners, and he is very responsive, professional, courteous, flexible--basically he wants you to be happy with the work they do. I got a couple of bids for our project. One of the bids was from a large solar system installer. Phoenix's bid was substantially lower, and Micah seemed knowledgeable, so I went with Phoenix. I was a little worried that installing solar systems wasn't their core area of expertise, but they did great work. My guess is that businesses that focus solely on installing solar systems get through the City permitting and SMUD hook up a little faster than Phoenix. But our system was installed, and we were on-line through SMUD, in about 12 weeks. Phoenix did excellent work at a very reasonable price. I would use them again and would give them a strong recommendation.

I purchased the $99 Angie's List deal. Jason came out. He was very personable and meticulous. It took him about 1 hr and 15 minutes to do the complete inspection. While inspecting the furnace in the attic, he recommended my blower needed replacing. He also said the a/c blower needed replacing in the future (not necessary at this time). I appreciated his honesty in letting me know what needed replacing in terms of priority. I also signed up for their Energy Savings Agreement. It's a twice yearly a/c and furnace check-up. Overall, I am glad with the experience!

When initially turned on the air-conditioning system I viewed that the air fan was not turning. Jason went through his inspection and tuneup and found immediately that the O.D. Run Capacitor was dead. He informed me with what was needed and I acknowledged and agreed to his repair and fair price on a replacement. All services was performed promptly and professionally without any issues nor drama. Jason answered all my questions and made some great recommendation on how I can better maintain my HVAC system...i.e. filter change, insulating areas of concern and keeping fan clean. I thoroughly was pleasantly surprised with the level of professionalism and service. I'm very happy to have joined Angie's List and was able to take advantage of this service. This service alone satisfied my joining Angie's List. Piece of mind, fair price and trusted service are the basic expectations. All reached with my first experience with Angie's List.

The service went fine. They did exactly what the deal stated. My wife was the one home for the service. I thought they did a nice job. They were very responsive and I had no difficulties scheduling the service.

Went very well. Came out and did inspection on my 16 yr old ac unit and gave a reasonable estimate. Did have to play phone tag a few times before finally being able to make an appointment for repairs, not their fault ( due to me being a professional driver and not being able to be on the phone too much.) But at appointment time, Rob was on time, and finished quickly. Very professional and knows the business. Would definitely use them again in the future!

They came out and were very professional, and did a great job.

We hired Phoenix to do an annual HVAC tuneup, a spring and fall package. They took care of it did a great job. We will be calling them again.

It went well. I didn't have any problems with them. They did everything they were supposed to do but he said he didn't do hot water heaters.

I requested service on- line Sunday eve. Michal called 8am Monday. Jason was out to my house in an hour. He made my day. Had heater fixed in 2 hours. Part under warranty. Service was at no cost to me, not even to come out. They are very professional and respond to my needs fast. Thank you . Satisfied homeowner will pass the good service on to others.:)

The provider did a good job as far as I could tell on sealing an air duct. that should have been sealed before, and was not. They also sold me a lifetime air filter, which I did'nt need for 98.00. I could have reused the one I had in the unit. I did not know this at the time. Until I got the new filter and had to secure it the same way I could have done the old filter. I feel this was an unnecessary cost to me. I am a senior, and on a fixed budget. I could have saved that 98.00. They also secured a loose meter on the house. They were very courteous and professional. No I would not use them again.

We are very pleased with the service provided by Phoenix Energy Solutions. We bought our new home about a year ago and were looking for a company to perform a general inspection of our heating and air conditioning system. The inspection went well, our system is ok, and Micah even changed out the filter for us. Will definitely use Phoenix again, and am already recommending them to neighbors.

The gentlemen who showed up were nice and showed up right on time or even early. The service was great - they answered every question I had, and they explained all of the work they did while providing suggestions for keeping the system up and running. It was a great experience, and I will definitely have them back out should I need any further service or changes to my HVAC systems.

We are really happy with the work. Accepts credit card, very professional. Did have to wait a bit to get appointment. But it all worked out. Our needs were not time sensitive.

Jason explained things to look for if heater has any problems, explained to me about the filters I have been using can block air flow and use more power. He explained how the heater works and also to check one of the pipes where water flows for the air, it was loose and could leak. He also looked at my air conditioner outside. He told me about their energy savings agreement for precision tune-ups for both heater and air conditioner. He also checked the air ducts as well. Overall I was very happy with this young man and definitely recommend not only this service but I will call them if I need any other help. I do plan on purchasing the energy savings tune up for both the air conditioner and heater. Thank you Jason for all your hard work. I appreciate it very much.

Sealed duct system leaks, got air loss down to 19%, courteous technicians, fast and professional.

I used them in a pinch. They were there at the scheduled time and worked well with my tenants. I have not had a problem with the furnace since.

There was a part that had gone out. They cleaned that for me, replaced the part and then did some other things for me too; basic maintenance. One gentleman came out and the first time he was there for about 45 minutes finding out the problem. Then he came back again for about an hour making sure everything had worked. He did have a used part that he was able to put in the first time, but it took about a week to receive a new part. I have always been pleased with them. They have done my HVAC about 3 years ago. I have recommended them other people. They also have great customer service.

This was my first time using them. It broke for me on a Saturday night so I called them Sunday morning and they told me that they could come out that afternoon. I liked that they were able to do that repair on a weekend, with no additional charge. One technician came out and after I described the symptoms, he mentioned that he thought he knew what it was and it was the cheapest thing to repair. I did have to buy a small part, which I purchased from him. He showed me on his tester that he was surprised that the HVAC was even working at all. So far my HVAC has been working great! I asked him about estimate for replacing the entire system. He sat down with me for 45 minutes and helped enlightened me in what my options would be for this home and gave me an estimate cost’ other things that had to be done like adding another filter intake. I already have recommended them to others too.

They replaced my HVAC and I purchased it through them. It took 3 crew members and it took them almost the entire day to install the HVAC. They were on time, good, and seemed fair with their pricing. They were a pleasure to deal with. Since they have come out I have not had them out to fix anything and it still works well for me.

The service was excellent, the technicians were very thorough, and I was pleased with the outcome. Jason and Nick were the technicians, Nick had the difficult task of getting into a small opening in the attic and he was able to get there in stride.

We were having some trouble with our air conditioning system. It would not turn on via the thermostat timer. We replaced the thermostat, but the problem persisted. We thought maybe we needed a new system, so we called three providers out to get estimates. The first guy spent 5 minutes looking at the fan in the furnace, told us the furnace was leaking carbon monoxide, made my husband sign a waiver saying that he had been notified of the hazard, and then left, saying his manager would call to give us an estimate. The second guy spent five minutes looking and tried quite hard to sell us a $10,000 system (He only gave us one choice) and then left. He left the breaker off and so the A/C did not come on *at all* until I figured that out and switched it back on. Phoenix came out and saved the day! He tested for carbon monoxide both at the furnace and coming out of the ducts. He found nothing wrong, and even showing us and explaining the readings. He looked at the fan in the furnace and discovered that part of the panel was burned out preventing the fan from getting a signal from the thermostat. He changed the settings on the thermostat to get around the problem, and told me how to set them back in the fall when I wanted the furnace to come on. He told us we did not need a new system right now, but did discuss the options available when/if we need a new system. He went into far more detail than I could really understand, but boy, did he know all the details about HVAC systems! All in all, he was there for over two hours, fixed the problem, saved us $10,000, gave us a course on HVAC, and REFUSED ANY MONEY! That about says it all. If I ever do need a new system, I'll definitely call Phoenix.

They did do work for me. They have been out a couple of times. One time they did repair on my HVAC; he had to replace a part in it. It worked after they finished then the 2nd time they came out to do a free check-up. A year after the first time that I have used them, their office called and reminded me that I had a free checkup. So they came out and checked out the HVAC and they told me that I was still good on everything and every was still in great shape. I thought their service was good. The second time they came out only technician came. He spent a good amount of time making sure that he checked everything. They informed me how long my HVAC could last; and they actually helped without trying to upsell me either. They were recommended to me by someone else who said that they were good; and they were. They are always on time, extremely professional and nice.

They are excellent. They are very timely and reliable. They are also very cooperative too! I have used them 2-3 times over the past year. Micah had been the person who generally responds, but now he has a great crew working for him. Prices are reasonable for the work they do. They do HVAC repair for me. They have a great consumer service so that is why I keep going back to them.

They were excellent! They are on time and did a great job. They made a great recommendation and they are very clean. I just used them one time and they put a mini-split in my studio. It is a nice unit and it is very highly rated; I appreciate that they didn’t sell me an off brand and sold me something that didn’t have good quality. They had to get permits and did it the right way. They were also very responsive in calls and emails. They kept me in the loop and they were very engaged. They worked around me and my schedule too.
