+ -1 moreThis was supposed to be just a short inspection. Mike checked carefully in the garage, offered advice freely, and did a careful search all around the outside of the building. After we found several places that they are coming in or may be coming in he gave me some advice. He said Koby could come out a few times to set traps, but they would be doing basically what I am already doing. So he suggested I get some liquid nails, fill up the holes on the exterior, and save myself some money; i.e., do it myself instead of paying him for doing it. Then he gave me some copper mesh, answered all of my questions and was on his way. The $45 was for the inspection, and I was expecting to pay it before he arrived, based on what the office person told me. It seems to be money well spent. I appreciated his candor, bought some liquid nails and plugged the holes. We'll have to see what happens next in the rat saga.
Description of Work: Mike came out on Tuesday for an inspection. We have rats in our attic and garage. He was supposed to come on Monday, but canceled because of an emergency on some property he owns. He inspected the attic briefly and the garage. Then we walked all the way around the building outside. It's a townhouse with three units in the building. He pointed out some places where rats are entering the building that I had missed and gave me some tips about rat control.

Description of Work: Koby pest control set out eight mouse traps in the attic and crawl spaces. Over a total of three visits, Mike removed trapped rodents then sealed up access to the attic so that rodents would not be a problem again.

+ -1 moreThe man came right out for the estimate and suggested waiting until after a storm we had coming so the treatment would not wash away. He did not pressure me into anything additional. When he came out, he sprayed and treated the home for ants and then said in 30 days if I see any ants around to give him a call. I did find some ants upstairs and I called them and they came back out and took care of them for me. They have a $25 off coupon for first time customers and the receptionist brought this up to me.
