Hangtown Hardwood Flooring

Our home was built in 1965 and had original hardwood floors that had been covered with carpet for most of that time. They were discolored and worn in many places. Tom replaced planks that were too damaged to refinish and also added hardwood floors in the kitchen, entryway and a bedroom. The blending from room to room is seamless and people think the floors are brand new. Even though Tom's schedule was very full, he was able to work us in and complete the job while we were on vacation. Throughout the experience, Tom was to his word. If he said he was going to call, he would call. if he said he was coming by, he came by as promised. Also, Tom added some exotic wood as a splash of color and design. We are remodeling our home and I trusted Tom'e referrals to other tradesman and have used these references to successfully complete other jobs. Not only would I recommend him in the future, I already have done so and my friend is thrilled with his services and the end result as well!

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible, I am sure their reviews are from their friends. They have not completed the job and will not call back or complete the job. I was told that he would protect my art work, my counter tops and my antique Obi's. The did nothing, they are cavemen and should be run out of business. They never worked 8 hours a day and then left all my furniture uncovered for over a week outside. I am really disappointed in Angie's List and we paid over $5K for this caveman that will not finish the job.

Wonderful. Came out in March to look at our project and gave us a written estimate. Scheduled work when we were ready in May. Arrived on time each day for 3 days. Cleaned up well. Moved and replaced furniture items including refrigerator, pantry door and garbage compactor. The house is 25 years old and the floors look brand new now. We are very pleased and highly recommend Tom.

The quality of work was fantastic; I cannot overstate how good the floors look. We didn't want to see the and ldquo;micro-linesand rdquo; that separate each of the planks. We wanted traditional hardwood floors, not the prefinished lumber. It was difficult to find someone willing to do the work. In addition we were going to be moving into the house in two weeks and were under intense time constraints. Thomas worked with Dawsons floor fashions to get the material in time and haul it up to the house so it could adjust to the house environment the next day. The floors were then installed and 4 coats of poly were laid down, it turned out close to perfect and was completed exactly on time. Thomas even created custom heater grates that matched the color and tone of the floor. We plan on using Thomas to install hardwood upstairs bedrooms and hallway and on the stairs. We are very happy and everyone who has seen the floors is very impressed.

Overall, they did an excellent job. I knew this would be a big job as I needed cherry wood flooring for the family room, living room, dining room, bedroom, office, and hallway. When these men arrived, they were prompt and courteous. They kept the dust to a minimum and cut all of the wood outside. I will definitely use this company again. They have always gone above and beyond. They warranty their work as well and are completely trustworthy.
