Awesome!! Victor and his crew really listened to my concerns and took extra care of items that I stressed were important. They were all very friendly and got the move done in a timely manner. They provided a huge crew for a fairly small move -- 6 or 7 men in two trucks. They were professional and efficient and did a good job at a fair price. The owner came out a week before the move and provided a verbal quote on the spot; it was followed by a written quote. After being assured that they are fully licensed and insured and thereafter reading 15 excellent reviews on Angie's List, I was convinced that they were a trustworthy local business -- and they absolutely are. They showed up on time, worked hard, and put our belongings where we requested. My husband was amazed at how very fast and hard they worked. I would certainly recommend this business for any type of local or long distance move.

In short, they were excellent. They kept to their promised schedule precisely. They also did a great job of packing and unloading all of our stuff. Virtually nothing was damaged and at both ends, the crew worked hard to get things exactly as we wanted them. All of the reviews we read about Ricky Richardson and the Best Way crew turned out to be accurate and even restrained. These guys are really interested in getting it right and in a competitive price. Don't expect anything slick or glossy as you get your estimate and work out the schedule. Do expect an accurate fixed cost, super service, spot on timing, and the best deal in moving in the greater Sacto area. A++

I had an easy time scheduling a walk through and packing/moving dates. I got quotes from two other local companies and Best way had the best price. This is a family owned and run company. I had an excellent experience with the owners sons and their employees. They were very responsive, punctual, polite, respectful and willing to help with extra things. The day before the move they packed my kitchen and everything made it to Fresno intact, including my cookies. I did get a chip in my dresser's veneer, which they themselves pointed out and fixed. During big moves something is bound to get a little damaged, and this was tolerable for me. It was over 100 degrees in Fresno, and they still worked fast. I probably won't have the chance to work with them again since I moved, but I highly recommend their services. Thank you so much.

A great 5 man experienced crew led by the owner's 2 sons. Extremely professional and knowledge about moving. The move went swiftly and smoothly. The guys virtually did not let my wife and I do anything, they insisted on doing it all. They took great care of our belongings. After our experience with them we would use no other movers.

Okay, this is the absolute best moving group I can even imagine. They have been working with me since last fall. I had several locations and varied moving needs going on. At this point, I'm going to miss them when I'm finished moving which will be in July. Great people!

Wow! These movers were terrific. Ricky came out to the house and gave us a very fair bid. They came to the house when they said they would be there. They were very careful of all our things. They moved our belongings from,a three story house to a two story house. It is amazing the strength and endurance these men have. They were always polite and very nice. I highly recommend these movers. They were wonderful.

They arrived on time. I had already moved some items to allow access to the things I wanted moved. They did the rest, and replaced the items in an organized fashion to allow access to the things left in the storage unit. They followed me to our home, and move things around to house to make room for the items from the unit. We wanted to rearrange our bedrooms, and the moved the beds, mattresses. and dressers to their new locations. Everything went well. We used another company in Sacramento recently, also on Angie's list, but our sister-in-law made the arrangements. There was no comparison. Both men from Best Way Movers worked and were very efficient. The other company had two men also. The bigger one, the "boss", did little if anything, while the smaller man did all the work. I would not use the other company again if you paid me. I would recommend Best Way Movers, without hesitation.

We contacted Ricky a month in advance of our move while gathering bids. He walked through the home, talked with us for about half an hour about his background in the area (well known mover locally), and gave us a verbal estimate. At my request, he followed this with an email within a few days. A couple weeks later, I called to confirm that we would be using his services, and would schedule a wekk or so before the move. I reconfirmed 2 days before the move. At the appointed time, the packing crew arrived and did their job; the move was done, quickly and professionally, the following day. At our request, one piece of furniture was quickly delivered to a separate location. At the new location, beds were reassembled, washer and dryer hooked up, and boxes stacked in appropriate rooms. Very accommodating to all our needs, and all done at price a very, very reasonable price. Regarding the "B" rating for Professionalism: Ricky arrived to give us an estimate casually dressed, looking like a mover, not like a corporate guy ready to give an written estimate. No paperwork was exchanged, no measurements taken. He simply walked through the house, talked about what we needed, and gave us a verbal estimate. He is personable and engaging; it felt more like a friend of a friend giving an estimate. After working with Ricky, I think of him as a good, straightforward guy who understood what we wanted (a local move with a minimum of hassle) and provided exactly that. Don't expect a suit.

The owner of the company was more than accommodating when I called to inquire about moving my belongings back to California. He assured me it would be no problem to unload most of the items into the storage facility, while dropping off some essentials at my son's house in Orangevale. He also assured me he would have a crew ready to pick everything up from both locations once i found a house in Sacramento. True to his word, he assembled a crew on barely a moments notice to perform the second portion of the move. Because I didn't know exactly when escrow would be completed on my new home, it was more of a guess that the property would be available for the move. Ricky had two days lead time to arrange for a crew.....because that's all the advance notice that I had. Still, his crew handled the entire move from two separate locations, and on a Saturday to boot. The guys that handled the move were extremely nice and caring people. They hooked up the washer and dryer, assembled the bed, the TV and stand, and all the furniture that had been disassembled while in storage. It was so painless, it was amazing! I will always remember Ricky's final words to me. He said "Welcome Home!" Yes, it's good to be home!

They did it without breaking anything. They give you a very detailed estimate. They are top notch and show up on time.

WE DIDN'T HAVE ANY MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH THEM. THERE WERE A COUPLE THINGS MISSING, BUT WE ENDED UP FINDING THEM. THEY DIDN'T BREAK ANYTHING. THEY WERE ALSO VERY PROFESSIONAL.
