EXCEL CHEM-DRY

Excellent. No spots returned. Carpet was not soaked.

Quite professional operation, arrived on time (the job was completed on the same day I called), did a reasonably thorough job, but a bit expensive for the work performed (I had moved all the furniture prior to their arrival, so they had virtually no furniture to move).

I called Excel Chem-Dry because the vet recommended their cleaning process to remove the scent of dog pee. I'd noticed neighbors using different Chem-Dry franchise's. The perfectionist neighbor had Excel in. Peter took my call personally, and scheduled an appointment to do the work later in the week. He and his helper arrived on time. They were polite, clean cut, and in uniform. Peter is the sort of guy you hope will turn up when you bring a service into your home. We walked through the areas to clean (all upstairs), and he evaluated the dog pee spots with a moisture meter. My carpet was in dire need, what with the dog pee and a number of dark spots where I'd cleaned up cat barf with Resolve. The guys were wonderful to my dog, making friends (sniff, sniff, scratch the ears) and ensuring he didn't get out the front door. They spent about an hour and a half doing the work. When they finished, the carpet was damp, and all areas except the stairs were raked.
