He checked out what he could. Tested the temperature coming from the vents. I can't comment on the quality except to say he said to call back if we had an issue. We have not used the A/C since his visit.

After the wasp nest was addressed by an exterminator, Stewart's sent a different service technician on July 6th to complete the diagnostic visit, and when I reported on the first visit, he laughed and said that he always carried a can of wasp spray in his truck for such situations. So the emergency extortionist level cost of getting an exterminator in during a holiday week was completely unnecessary. The diagnosis was that our compressor was bad. Stewart's provided an estimate to replace our complete heating and air conditioning system for $8,224. I asked why they couldn't just replace the bad component, and Ryan Stewart, presumably the owner of Stewart's, insisted that it was necessary to replace the entire system, as the components of the old system would not work with components of the new system. And that may be true of the Bryant systems they provide. But my HOA required me to seek a second opinion, from a vendor willing and able to replace the bad component, which was done (by Hassler Heating & Air Conditioning) for around $2,500 a t a savings of around $5,700.

Rich was very responsive and helpful. I wasn't present when he was onsite, as I was out of town, so I can't comment on that. We had multiple estimates drawn up from different companies and ultimately decided to go with another one. But if we need repairs or help in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to contact Rich again.

Jeff was early, I had made an after 1:00 pm appt.,, because I had prior appt, I received a call from Jeff @ Stewart Plumbing at 12:05, saying he's outside of our house and we had a 12:00pm appt and no one is home, to pls. call him back, but didn't leave his cell #. When we returned home, I showed him the Moen kitchen faucet dripping and the replacement gaskets sent to me from the manufacturer. (There is Utube video on how to replace these gaskets, which was estimated to take 10 minutes tops) I didn't have the tools, plumbers wrench etc. so saw the coupon and thought the faucet and bathroom shower pulley that stuck could be completed during this 1 hour) Before I could even show him the other job in the shower, he says: " Let me explain to you how this Angie's coupon works, it not what you think it is" I said: "what are you saying? "He says it's just like went you go to a mechanic for your car, you think it's for one problem but the mechanic see's that other work needs to me done, blah, blah,. I shopped him after 5 minutes and asked him if my 1 hour had started while he was babbling. He said "No, it will start after he finishes and after I have any questions. I said so what you are saying is that even if this job at the faucet takes 10 min. you consider this a 1 hour job and you can't do any other work for us within a 1 hour. He said "That's right, and that's our agreement with Angie's List." I thought, boy, what a rip off and I will mention this to Angie's List customer service, because that is not what the consumer understands. I said OK, let's start the 1 hour. After having to turn the water off at the meter, Jeff came back into the house annoyed. I asked him if he wanted me to move some figurines and flowers behind the sink out of his way? He says " No they are fine". He says "What kind of size is this?" I looked over and he was using a L shaped tool to take the faucet handle off," It's not a standard size", he says. I say here is the correct tool it's in the kit that I showed you. He takes the kit tool and says "Oh this works". Then I heard a metal scraping sound and noticed he was using a regular household wrench to take the faucet base off. After 3 minutes of scraping and tearing up my stainless steel faucet, he hits my figurine and broke it of the base, I said: You're tearing up my faucet. He said: "It's corroded, I can't get it off, you need to replace it." I checked the faucet and now the base doesn't turn, it's stuck in place. I told him: "Look what you have done, now my faucet doesn't turn and you've torn up my faucet, I'm not going to pay you because you haven't done any work!" I called he's office and told them. I spoke to Mary, the office manager, she said that she would mention this to the owner. I called another plumber to do the same work and he completed the faucet job in 10 minutes , the drip was fixed. He doesn't know what Jeff did to freeze the faucet. I want the faucet to be fixed so it moves from side to side like it did before Jeff touched it.

I had them last Summer. They wanted me to buy an $8000 furnace. They pushed me to sign and buy it right then and there. I called in and cancelled it.

Couldn't ask for more. They were here very shortly after 2:00 and the scheduled time was from 2:00-4:00. He had everything done by 2:45 and gave me a full check list of everything serviced. He even took me outside and showed me where one of our pipes for coolant was slightly bent and that we should just be aware of it in case there where any issues in the future. All in all, great experience and we will have them back for any HVAC services in the future.

Fine, it was very quick and easy. They were out of the ordinary. Everything was fine, very nice.

When the weather got hot, we learned the AC system did not work. Stewart Heating Air & Plumbing came out with an estimate and was able to complete the job within a week. They helped us secure the best financing option for the project.

On time. We were given practical advice. No pressure to purchase additional services.

It went very well. My air conditioning unit is so old that I had almost resigned myself to having to buy a whole new system which would set me back thousands. Jamie, the service representative, was professional and straightforward about my options and the cost. He at no point tried to push extra or unnecessary services, but instead informed me what to keep an eye on to aide my trusty old Rheem in hopefully lasting many years to come. I will be recommending them to my family and friends.

Purchased the $99 for 1 hour labor "discounted" deal online. In terms of actual work it took the guy 10-15 min. He did spend some more time looking for parts since he did not have what was needed with him. The total charge was approx. $400. I was told they do not really work "by hour", rather charge a flat fee. The $99 online deal is just to lure customers in, there are no savings behind it - be ware... I don't plan to use this service again.

This was the biggest waste of time and money. I have purchased big deals in the past and was satisfied, but these guys wanted to rip me off. I got really busy at work and just wanted to save time having a professional do some basic stuff that I knew I could probably muddle my way around doing myself, and this "big deal" seemed like the ticket. #1: I had a leaking toilet valve (into the bowl), and when my wife had turned the water inlet off to stop the noise it sprayed a whole bunch of water on our floor all night. Quote: $403. I declined. Later I was able to tighten a nut which caused the leak and purchase a flap in the toilet for under $10 and install in 10 minutes (it would have taken the plumber 2 minutes to install). #2: Bathroom hot water tap was stuck and nearly impossible to turn. Quote: $492-$656. I declined. Later I was able to remove the stuck parts and took it to Meyer's Plumbing and said I wanted to buy a new one. The guy banged on it, lubricated it, scraped it, and gave me my piece back fixed. No charge. I was able to install it back and it worked great. Took me about 40 minutes to disassemble and reassemble. #3: Another toilet occasional leaks (into the bowl). Quote: $302. Declined, haven't fixed this one yet. In a nutshell this guys are a ripoff.

Needed a furnace repair, tech only gave me one option, replacement of furnace but he advised I should have both heater and air conditioner done at the same time since they were the same age. Could get to it next week. I said no, needed heat now (November = winter cold). So I asked him if he couldn't just repair it and I would call the office to make an appointment for next week. He made the repair, the furnace is still working (May) and I didn't call his office to get more work done. I wouldn't use them again even if the furnace were to break down. I have heard of this, putting pressure on the customer to buy a new system instead of making the repair but my first time to experience it. BTY, my son-in-law owns a heating/air conditioner company in another state and he says this is a scam and is common with some repair shops.

It all went well. I would definitely use the services again. Excellent Service all around.

plumber found another problem in our home the gas was leaking in furnace closet...wow......plumber gave us invaluable information on solving our problems....used our home warranty.....fixed our gas leak thanks to his keen nose..

Very quick to respond and to schedule service appointment. On day of service, the serviceman called to let me know of his arrival time. He was very professional, quickly assessed the problem, and recommended solution. This was the 2nd plumber I had come look at the problem. The other plumbling Co was unsure of the problem and replaced the P trap and "hoped" that would fix the problem. It didn't. Stewart Heating Air & Plumbling quickly and accurately solved my problem. I am very grateful for the responsiveness and expertise. After months of living with the issue, it is now fixed. Thank you very much!

Very pleasant young man Mike Kelly came quickly, and did a nice job. He recommended ways to avoid trouble in future.

Serviceman arrived in timely manner. Showed him what I need repaired. I purchased an hour of plumbing for $99.00. First thing he did was get on IPad to inform me of how much it was going to cost me. I was under the impression that I had an hour of plumbing work coming which would include the installation of the faucet. The faucet I purchased of course would not work. Had one on truck he could sell me. I agreed as could not stand leaking faucet any longer! Got it almost installed and discovered that some parts were missing. Called company to see when parts would be available, not until Tuesday. Two options, put old leaky faucet back on sink with no repairs or have him come back Tuesday with a working faucet. I informed him that that wasn't going to work for me. I told him I could go to hardware store and purchase an new faucet and that it would take me about 1/2 hour. He immediately informed me that that would cost me extra if he had to wait. I told him to call his supervisor and explain that it was not my fault that the faucet on his truck was missing parts and could not be used. They agreed to let me go purchase a new faucet and he would wait. Took him only a few minutes to install the new faucet. Asked if installing the new faucet would fix water leaks under the sink and he told me yes. Asked about piping and he informed me that that would be an additional charge. He did turn something and that seemed to help, but still leaking now. Also could of cleaned up his small mess under the sink. He was a very nice young man and seemed very knowledgeable. Understand he is working for a company, but felt every question I asked, he had to check to see how much it was going to cost me. $99.00 for one hour of plumbing was very misleading. Read fine print and felt I understood what I was purchasing, but now I feel I was taken advantage of. First time using Angie's List and probably the last. Could of done better on my own, but lesson learned. Read review of another customer too late. He had the same issue with what we purchased.

The service went fine. I was happy they could come out the same day I called. I found out they do not do weekends, however. The plumber was incredibly knowledgeable. He told me after he installed the toilet I would probably need another toilet soon. He also did not caulk the toilet to the floor as well. He was punctual and efficient. He installed the toilet in about 15 minutes. I did have to pay an additional fee for a wax ring. He was a younger technician and not as respectful of my home.

I felt so taken advantage of. The ad an Angies list said $39 for the call and $100 off on the service. I didn't feel good about the whole experience. Today I checked the price on a Badgerr product and found the top price at Home Depot was $179. Stewart charged it at $200. I don't have the box so don't know if they gave me top of the line. The next price at Home Depot was $139. The plumber was here less than an hour. So the charge of $210 for his time seems way out of line considering the offer of $100 off on the service. I feel I could have purchased the unit and any competant handy man could have done the job. It was very straight forward. Just take the old unit out and put in the new one. In fact the more I questioned the service rep the less I understood what he was trying to say. Leading to my discomfort. I am a senior citizen and can't afford to be taken advantage of. I have used people off Angies list twice in the past year and was so completely satisfied. The rep from Hadden electric went way beyond changing the fuses on my AC. He cleaned the unit and explained what problems I might have in the future in a very honest way. The carpet Wizard people cleaned my off white carpeting so it looked just like new and at the advertised price. Such kind people from both of these vendors.
