The plumber was methodical but very slow (pay by the hour?). Then there was a leak. |Third visit: The leak was fixed.

Description of Work: Routine inspection and maintenance for my A/C system. I regularly have them check the A/C in the summer and Heat in the winter.

Description of Work: The tried to unblock a drain with roots in it. The service was pricey above the voucher bought through Angie's list, so I did not pursue a more extensive service. But the work was done sufficiently and they honored my request to not spend more time and money in the service as I am renting the house.

Description of Work: They came to install in faucets behind my washer. I bought an hours worth of service to have a couple of things repaired. The technician said it doesn't work that way. So it took 15 minutes and I just forfeit the other 45 minutes of service. I told him it was unfair. Also I sent photos ahead of time so he would have parts.?when he got here he stated one of the faucets was missing out if his truck and so he left to purchase.

He also advised me on my air ducts. | |This is the 2nd time Don has been out to the house, once for the heater and this time for the A/C. | |He was very professional and answered my questions without talking down to me, which as still a new homeowner, I appreciate.

Description of Work: The tech did a thorough inspection of my HVAC system, cleaned/lubed mechanical parts and replaced my furnace filter. He gave me an overall evaluation of my system needs, I was very satisfied with the service.

Description of Work: I used Angie's "Big Deal" coupon for "cleaning a Drain", and indicated that it was for clogged drain for my clothes washer. They were prompt in sending the repair man, Mike. He explained that the coupon was for a "Simple Drain" and would not be applicable for this more difficult drain. He contacted the office and got me a quote. It was to remove and replace the toilet ($255), cable the toilet ($155) and also cable the laundry line ($311), the total being $721. He would give me a $69 deduction against the total cost. This was outrageous! I talked to the office manager Cathy. And offered that I would be willing to pay for remove/replace toilet and also cabling the toilet. I requested if they would cover the cabling of the laundry line under the coupon. Cathy said that the price was set by the owner, Mr. Ryan. I asked the plumber Mike to talk to the owner Ryan. Ryan was not willing to negotiate at all. But what p***** me of was when Mike asked for the "Big Deal" coupon printout. When I asked why, he said that they need it for reimbursement from Angie's list. When I refused, Ryan conveyed that they would have to bill me $125 for the service call! The coupon does not make any mention of "simple drain" vs. more "complex drains". I think this is clear case of "bait and switch". The coupon also does not make mention of the $125 service fee. Fortunately Angie's list has agreed to listen to my complain and to take appropriate steps.
