Very efficient, friendly, professional. Gave us quick & efficient info about forced air heating, which was very helpful since we had radiant heat in our previous home of 15 years. Work was done under home warranty, so no price info avail.

Lack of professionalism! Do not give your Credit Card before the service is provided! I was charged $89 for furnace inspection and to find out why it wouldn't stay lit, which is a standard fee. The technician calls me after inspecting the furnace and says he has no idea why the furnace is not working but for $285 will replace the thermocouple. I asked if that wasn't the problem will he replace other parts and charge extra for it, and he responds "yeah...pretty much". So nickle and dime to death is what I got from his comment, so I decided to not to accept his services. Even after the technician left without knowing the problem I still got charged $89 for him to "show up", and I'm still waiting for a report from the "service" they provided. I called the owner and explained my position. He explains that it is an older furnace, 50 years or so, and that they made their best educated guess and that on 95% of cases is the thermocouple. I understand his position but the fact is that the technician's explanation in the problem and on his services lead me to believe he was trying to overcharge me. In short: the technician needs to work on his "technical" skills to find out the problem, and the owner needs to recognize when his company committed a mistake and credit back the money for a service that wasn't provided. He even started screaming at me when I told him I was going to give my review in Angieslist. Finally, I got done the service done this morning (10/17/12), replacing all parts, all for $145, less than half of what this company tried to charge me. VERY EXPENSIVE COMPANY!!!!

Both technicians were professional, but friendly. From beginning to end, they were quiet and efficient. They arrived an hour early for the appointment, I would have liked a phone call before their arrival. They expertly maneurved their work around 3 people, one a houseguest. One thing that bothered us, was the "hard sell" at the end of our appointment, for air duct cleaning. At a cost of $75O, it was not something we expected to be pushed upon us right then. It could have been casually mentioned to a good customer, but not given with such hard sell. We were surprised! It left a sour note to the ending of a great appointment.

We have been with Stewart Heating and Air for 35 years, and we wouldn't use any other company. They are professional, available whenever we need them, and the company is still owned by the founder. Furthermore, the company's technicians are clean and friendly. Once after inspecting the house for any problems, they phoned a couple of days later just to ensure the inspection had been done properly.

Everything went well with the installation, and they were flexible with scheduling, too. I am satisfied with the service.
