All work was completed in 3 days, real-time. All of the old equipment was removed and dispensed with by the company. The 'work-site' was left neat and tidy at the end of each day. Yancy and Kevin were the two Installation Technicians and I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. All work was done with a minimum of disruption to me. Everything was explained fully to me at different stages throughout the installation process. Bill Stewart also paid a visit on day one and checked in with me to ensure that I was happy with the work that was to be carried out. Their representative Staci also did a great job in setting up the work proposal. She handled all the finance arrangements, made all the arrangements to get Energy in to do an Energy proficiency test on the house. Thanks to Staci's work, I was also fully aware (prior to any work being done) of any rebates I would qualify for as a result of replacing the afore-mentioned utilities. This company does "exactly what it says on the tin" !

I thought they were good overall. I had to arrange a date that would work for both of us and that was about a month after I purchased it.

Showed up on time, excellent appearance, equipped with tools et., polite, went about work in professional manner, seemed to be thorough and know what he was doing. Couldn't expect more for a check-up. Rating on Price is C because I signed up for the Check-up Service @ $69 only to see a few days later that the same service from the same company was offered @ $49 I don't object to the higher price but don't change the rules in the middle of the game.

He was here a short time. All the details that are important are in the upper paragraph. I don't know if cost was reasonable without estimates from two other companies. I thought the service was good, I was only concerned with price. My home is under 1000 sq ft. so .two smoke alarms in such a small area was too much for me, but he said it was up to code. This is one floor with open kitchen, living room and two small bedrooms.

I used an Angie's list deal coupon. The gentleman from Stewart was great! He did a very thorough job, explained everything well.. found not issues and didn't push any additional work. I would definitely do business with them again!

This is my first time using Angies list and Stewart H&C. Gentle man arrived on time and check our air condition. Diagnosis was the existing coil is clogged and need to get clean up or changed. Price to clean the coil over $ 1,900.00 and to change the coil over $ 2,000.00. Another company came to our house and checked the coil and find out the coil is clean, but the thermostat is old and not functioning, I bought the thermostat and problem solved. I paid $ 30.00 membership to Angies list and $ 55.00 for the service and got wrong diagnosis. I do not use angies list or Stewart Heating and Air conditioning.

It was fine. I just spent the cost of the Big Deal. I would use them again.

Everything went well. They did the work as stated within the deal. Ron provided a list of everything that he recommended for repairs. When we get settled in our new home, we will be picking a few of those that are more urgent and waiting on other repairs.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went pretty good. Unfortunately the guy said it wasn't worth fixing so I need to save some money and call to get an estimate of what it is going to cost. He said the air conditioner wasn't really worth doing anything with because it is too old. They were really nice. Everything was fine but it was kind of disappointing that I couldn't get it fixed. The price seemed to be okay. They emailed me the next day with a time they could come out. They said he would be there between 10 and 12. He was there around 10:30. He was very professional.

The company called right away to set up appointment and they were really friendly, helpful people. The technician was very prompt and pleasant to work with. He answered all questions and thoroughly checked out all connections, freon levels, that vents were working properly, and replaced the filters. And even helped fix one of the vent covers. All in all very professional and didn't rush either. Very happy with the service - so much so, that I set up a yearly service agreement with them. Great company!

I was very satisfied with what they did but I was floored by the estimate for duct cleaning. It may be ok but I'll have to get other estimates to compare.

Don was very professional and prompt. He got my nonworking air conditioning fixed in a very short time, checked the thermostat functioning and changed the air filters and tuned up both air conditioning units.

It went well. Ron from Stewart Heating and Air came out to do the advertised special AC tune-up and inspection. We had a home inspector come out and evaluate the entire home about a month before, as we were entertaining the idea of selling. One of the things he found was that the original ducting from 1961 was still in the attic and it was the asbestos covered crap. This was kind of a shock to us, as we had had the heating and AC replaced back in 2005 by Walnut Creek Sheetmetal, Air Conditioning and Heating, and they didn't even have the courtesy to educate us on the condition and the material in the ducting: They led us to believe that the entire system was brand new and we were good to go... NOT! I'm sure they left out the minor detail of the threat to our health, as they thought adding the cost of getting Hazmat people in to take out the old and have them put in the new would have been a deal breaker. We don't want cancer. We would have spent the money. Anyway, the entire crew at Stewart Heating and Air was professional and courteous. Could we have gotten it for a better price? I don't know... Probably not much better. Also, they had a two year, no interest deal, so that helped/ I'd recommend them. They don't sugar coat the truth. How much is my family's health worth to me? More than $5,000, that's for sure! We'll never again do business with Walnut Creek Sheetmetal, Air conditioning, and Heating. That's a promise!

They came out and told me that they could not tune up my a/c because it needed to be replaced. I could not take advantage of this deal.

Jamie was very knowledgeable and informative. In fact, he explained why the restructuring another provider had insisted we needed, was completely unnecessary. Clearly, we were just low on coolant. I consider that $357 well spent, because he also saved me the $1800 a less honest company tried to score.

After inspecting the outside unit the technician informed me that I had two options: - spend a few hundred dollars on a new motor for a unit that may need to be replaced soon anyway, or - replace the unit for a few thousand dollars He left me with a quote and a broken AC system. I called another outfit for a second opinion. They gave me similar news and options but with one meaningful difference ... They were able to get the existing AC motor to work after about 5 minutes. I don't know if the difference was a lack of knowledge/ability or just wanting to make a sale, but either way it is a bit disappointing.

Our AC unit quit cooling on the hottest week of the year. I called Stewart Heating & Air on Monday and they set an appointment for Tuesday afternoon. The technician called on Tuesday to see if he could come earlier than the original appointment. Arrived within 20 min, discussed what was going on with the unit, tested what he thought was the problem, gave me a quote, replaced the part and we were back in cool conditions within an hour. Jamie was our service tech, and very personable, we had a great conversation about baseball while he worked. I would use Stewart Heating again and would ask for Jamie to be our repair guy!

On a scale from 10/10 this was a 10. Would highly recommend them!!

They came on time, and did what they said they would. They did good work. There was a mix up at first, but they got it figured out. Didn't sell us anything that we didn't need.

My A/C went out on the first hot weekend of the year. I called them Monday and they were here Tuesday. The technician checked out the thermostat, filter, condenser and main part of the unit. He cleaned the filter, showed me the thermostat was set on a less than optimal starter point, corrected that. He repaired a broken connection to the condenser. I am physically challenged and he told me about a spring/fall maintenance program Stewart offers that was very well priced. I am loathe to ask friends to do me 'favors' so this was just the kind of thing I look for to maintain my property.

I placed a call to Stewart Heating and Air on the evening of 4/29 in an effort to avoid any malfunction of my air conditioner after coming home and discovering a pool leak, a thermostat problem on my PGE installed Smart AC with air running nonstop and no way to stop it other than pulling the unit off the wall, my refrigerator being out of commission for two weeks and I was not getting an appropriate response from the repair company (another story altogether), and throwing my back out carrying art supplies into an elementary classroom where I am the teacher. I left a message after joining Angie's list using a coupon and called it a day (wanting a stiff drink, but opting for a Motrin and going to bed). The next day I received a call from Sarah, and she was so friendly and kind, at first she was offering me an appointment for 5/9, but after listening to my tale and my explanation as to why I was home to take her call (left work in extreme pain and waiting for a prescription to be filled for my back) she scheduled me for today between 12 and 2. What a wonderful lady, I am so grateful to know there are kind people still, she was truly what I needed. I got off the phone and felt relieved, but still fearful of what I might be facing. As I said before, Jaime arrived on time, did what he was supposed to in a friendly, kind manner, AND I DIDN'T NEED ANY REPAIR AT ALL! I am feeling very blessed by having contacted Stewart A/C, and I am happy to know that even if life gets away from me I will have regular scheduled service that will prolong the life of my heating and air. This company is A+ in my book, and frankly I am so blessed and grateful to them, all companies should be this concerned for their customers, they are terrific! Now if only the repair by -ear- would do the same, the world would be a better place. Because of the service and understanding I received from Stewart Heating and Air, I will ONLY trust local companies for my life and times. THANK YOU STEWART, BLESSIINGS BACK TO YOU!

I delayed way too long in getting my furnace repaired for the simple reason that when I had a different company give me an estimate I was told it would cost close to $1000 to make the repairs and that I should consider replacing it altogether. But when the weather turned cold I decided I couldn't procrastinate any longer so I checked Angie's list and contacted a few more companies. Stewart Repair came immediately and told me it shouldn't cost more than $250.00. Of course I told them to go ahead and it's been working perfectly for the last three months.
