We ended up replacing all the air ducts in our two story townhouse but are so pleased with the end result. We would use them again in a heartbeat!

They sent in two different contractors, however the first two contractors seemed more experienced. They stated when the new ducts were going to be installed, they were going to be suspended, but they didn't do that like they said they would. They explained what they were doing, what the pieces were and how they worked. I was pleaased with their professionalism, and they knew what they were doing.

They responded promptly and performed the job as arranged. Not being HAVC literate, I can't value the quality of the work but I have had flawless experience with my heating all winter so let's go for "A".

They did really good and I am looking to hire them in the future to replace our toilet.

It went very well. I felt reassured because their work was warranties for several months. No problems afterwards at all.

They suggested a new heater and hustled me through an estimate (the estimator arriving within 1/2 hour) did all paperwork for them to start almost immediately " to save time by having to return" I got another estimate an it was $6000 less! I cancelled the job.

He had it fixed in about five minutes. He was very polite, he had covers over his shoes while in my home. He asked to walk through my home. I was very impressed with his professionalism.

Stewart Heating & Air Conditioning are an unbelievable company. Our experiences with them have been super. We wouldn't go anywhere else. We're very satisfied with their prices. We've used them since the 1970's.

He was great I am terrible with names and thought I had finished this review already but it was an extremely busy time andI I was having computer problem in my business. I had had a gas leak that my fire alarm and carbon monoxide (installed and purchased from Angie's list provider Quick Electric in 2012) set off!! It was fortunate since there was no smell and PGE came out and told me to have it inspected. Also insulation was blocking ( that i had had installed in my attic in 2011 but the installers blocked the heating outflow and hot water heater outflow)! that should be removed. This young man went and removed it as an extra service. I needed a new valve which was going to cost $450 however since I had a home warranty for this service I could not justify going ahead with this since I pay them $575 a year for these types of things so once I found that out I did not proceed with servicing my heater but the inspeaction only showed that as a problem. He was great and if I needed to have more work done I would certanly recommend them. He went above and beyound and removed the insulation that blocked the heater exit.

They seemed competent, but... service rep recommended a very expensive cleaning of the blower unit (close to $400) and also an upgrade of our filtration system to a $1200 electronic version. I had my usual HVAC guy come after (another A-rated Angie's List firm), and he thought the blower unit was fine and that an upgrade on filtration was not necessary. So the "upselling" by Stewart was extensive and expensive.

We were very pleased with the quality of work, the workers and the company. Highly recommend them!

Within 3 minutes of the inspector's arrival he was telling us we needed a new furnace, but all the tests he performed indicated that everything was working fine! He showed us corrosion on the burners, but mom said it has been that way since a fire back in the 60s and it has never affected the operation of the furnace. My mother was very upset at the way he decided so quickly about the furnace and said she has had it inspected before and there has never been a problem..

This is what really upset me folks: he told me they could install a new unit faster than they could replace the circuit board ( which is just ridiculous) So the not-so-subtle hint was: If you want your heat back on fast, you'd sign up for a new furnace. I think they were more interested in selling a new unit to me than they were fixing the problem. He even had a financing scheme in place with monthly payments and an interest rate of 7.99%. Mind you people I had two toddlers a newborn at home with no heat during the bay area cold snap of the fall ( we all slept in the same room with a space heater) Once I told him that I was not interested in getting a new furnace and that the quote for replacing the part was outrageous, he could not get out of my house fast enough. Thanks to the Internet though, I found out that the price for the circuit board was $150 at a local HVAC supplier ( even cheaper online) I contacted another HVAC tech ( 5 stars rating on Yelp) who quoted me at $160 and got the job done. He told me that replacing a circuit board takes about 15 minutes for an experienced technician. He had to run other other diagnosis because, being the last one to touch the unit, he wanted to make sure they were no other underlying issues. My furnace is still fully functional and we are comfortable not thanks to Stewart which tried to take advantage of me by exploiting my predicament. New furnace my a**!! Do not trust them and always get |another quote from a licensed technician.

Efficient, on time and very friendly. I would recommend Don to anyone who needs air ducts cleaned and heating/air systems checked. They also offer a low cost yearly maintenance plan.

We utilized the Angie's List coupon for Stewart Heating & Air. They were prompt, professional & courteous. Both of our units were in the attic so they had to negotiate the ladders but that didn't seem to bother them at all. They also evaluated our insulation while they were up there & said it was good, so that was nice. We would definitely use them again & recommend them!

not good she estimated the price in december 2013 then they ran a add in the news paper for a 50% discount and would not honor the discount i am very upset about this.

Overall service was great. The technician was punctual, professional and even gave me a tutorial on how furnaces work. He was very thorough. I would definitely use them again.

Knowledgeable estimator. Estimate was provided quickly, but too expensive for my budget. Apparently I have some asbestos wrapped ducts, and they told me I would have to replace them if I wanted the interior of ducts cleaned.
