It was excellent. They were very accommodating, he was prompt, it was excellent service and I felt like he would go above and beyond as far as customers. That was my first experience with him but that is how I felt. I would want to use him again.

I cancelled the service. But I still want to write this review as I had a good experience with this provider and Angiest List. They are very professional to deal with cancellation and refund.

I called them after I purchased the deal and wanted to let them know the type of work I was needing done. They informed me of what the estimated cost would be and it would just a bit more than expected. They were courteous on the phone, I am just requesting a refund at this point.

I was completely frustrated with my previous company's service, and Stewart Heating was a breath of fresh air. They listened to my needs an helped me figure out what would be the best fit for me. I especially like the air filter which CURED MY ASTHMA! It was like a miracle. The service was great, the follow up was great, the aftercare was great, and I got a free year of maintenance for the heater and A/C. Also my PGE dropped from $150-$200/month to $60.

When they came out they let me know that they do not work on floor units. It did take weeks to get an appointment. I had no indication that was going to be the case but it turns out that a lot of providers do not work on those type of units. They have provided good service on other items since that time and they have been great. I will use them again as I like the work they have done. They hire good people and they are much better than other companies that I have used. So everything but the first service has been really good.

He arrived and started working on the replacement of the washer H&C isolation valves, re-piped the washer drain & vent piping and snaked the drain piping from the washer connection to the sewer. The drain was heavy coated with roots, and other debris. The technician forgot to cover a hole that was left going through the garage wall. I had to call several times to get him to cover the hole. Stewart offers a 10% Senior Discount but the Technician didn't give it to me. I called the office and explained that I didn't get the discount. The woman on the phone said she could not issue a credit for the discount. I told her I wanted to talk to her supervisor, and that I will tell the community about Stewart's lack of customer service. She said she is now able to send me a check, and did.

The workers showed up on time and prepared to work. They were EXTREMELY quiet and neat, using protective shoe covers and drop cloths on the floors/carpets. The new heater was installed first. One man spent about a day and a half wrapping and repairing the ductwork under the house - not an easy job due to limited crawlspace. The air conditioner went in the next day, and all of the old equipment was taken for disposal. Testing of the ductwork was done twice; once by the Stewart company and once by a third party tester and the results exceeded expectations. Efficiency was certified at greater than 95%, which is not the norm in older homes such as ours. Bill Stewart, owner of Stewart Heating and Air, was very patient and fully explained the options available, including energy efficiency and operating costs of different units. He is very "hands-on" and was at the job site on several occasions making sure that things were going well and answering any questions we came up with. The only possible problem that arose was not knowing when the third party tester was coming .Fortunately, we were home when he showed up and everything worked out.

Punctual, professional, competitive; fell just short of Haddon Heating for what we wanted.

The service person was punctual and courteous. I appreciated that he did not suggest that I needed additional services.

The men who came were polite, efficient and cleaned up. We were very happy with their professionalism.

Uneventful service, which is a good thing. The tech was in and out, no surprise. I will switch to this company due to the price and quality of work. My current provider charges around $90-100 for the same service [Freschi Air].

Indicated that furnace working fine but air conditioners very old. Also checked ducting and found issues under the house.

Timely and professional. The person that came out tried very had to make sure that I was happy with the service. Easy recommendation.

I purchased a $39.95 Angie's List special to have Stewart Heating and Air clean and service our a/c before the temps began to rise. A man named "Ron" (who didn't offer his last name or provide a business card) arrived within the appointment time window. He used a laser-type handheld scanner to measure the a/c temps. Ron went outside to clean the a/c unit and wash off the air filter inside the home. He then explained that we needed a completely new a/c system, and the cheapest option was $5,700 (without tax). Most expensive was over $10,000. When we said we needed to think it over, Ron was nice enough to inform us we could get a financing plan and pay $129/mo. for 10 years (?!?). He wouldn't leave the pricing sheet with us, and pressured us to make a decision on the spot. We got a second opinion and found out that not only is our current a/c system perfectly fine and will last at least 7-10 years, we also found out Ron never cleaned a speck of dirt off of our a/c unit. Scare tactics!

The initial contact was very positive. The technician did what appeared to be a very thorough assessment and inspection of our system, made it clear that a viable option would be to continue to use our current system, but also agreed to create a proposal for replacement since our system is 32 years old and we are hoping for increased reliability and efficiency in a new system. When the technician returned a week later to provide the presentation about options, he started by saying that it was the company policy that he would make the presentation, but that we had to agree to either say yes or no to accepting one of the proposal options when he was done. He did say that he should have let us know earlier that requiring an immediate response was the company policy. While we can understand that contractors don't want to take the time to create proposals only to have them used for comparison or negotiating purposes, this is clearly an unacceptable practice for most customers. It is the nature of the contracting business that the company will create proposals and have some accepted and some rejected. Any legitimate, professional contractor is willing to have the customer compare the details of his/her company's proposals to others and to make an informed and careful decision. I recommend against considering a company that would utilize a high-pressure, "take it or leave it right now" approach to sales. In addition, I wrote an email to the technician and to the company to express the concerns outlined above and did not receive a response.

The plumber finally arrived 10 hours after the originally scheduled appointment time. I wasted a day off from working, and yet the team did not arrive until after 6pm! The worse aspect is that they didn't even call to update me. I had to call them! When they finally arrived, the plumbers were completely unprepared to perform the service for which they had been hired. I had provided the problem along with the manufacturer/part number of the part involved. And yet they arrived without any knowledge of the issue, knowledge of part, or (as they claimed) the tools to do the job. They did nothing!!! As I discovered afterward, there was no special tool needed, unless you consider a standard flat screwdriver a specialized tool. It turns out that the plumbers were simply unfamiliar with the part and where simply untrained and unprepared. This seems odd to me as Kohler is a major manufacturer and this was a 4 year old valve. It not like it was a difficult installation, old installation, or an odd part. It couldn't have been simpler or easier. They didn't even try to look-up the part on the internet, which I was able to do on my cell phone within minutes after they left. Kohler provides all of the documentation and repair information online. It turned out to be a consumer-repairable part, for which they wanted to set up a secondary appointment so that they could be "properly prepared." I cannot recommend the use of this company.

I had a problem with it. They did a good job with the installation but then there was an issue where they tied the heater to the floor joints and it vibrates the room that it's under really badly. I asked if they could come out and put it somewhere else. They said that it would void my warranty. I gave them a review on the website. They emailed me and said that they would love to come out and fix it for me and maybe I can give them a better review. I agreed but I never heard back again. I think they did a quick and thorough job of the work they said they were going to do. They worked pretty clean and nice. They definitely weren't willing to deal with any problems that came afterwards.

They were punctual when we called them, however the problem that we had is still there. They were unable to solve it and they did not followup on their work. Right now we are looking for another person to help us.

I was satisfied with the service. It was free of cost as it was under warranty. They just replaced it for free since they had installed the unit about a year prior to that. They're friendly, quick and they stand by their work.

They did a great job. I paid for something that was supposed to have been done a couple of years before and it expired but they have waived the fact that the time had long passed and did it anyway so they were really nice about it. I would recommend them highly.

Thus far, our new furnace works like a dream. Nothing bad to say about this company--they did exactly what they promised and, in my opinion, at a fair price. Highly recommended.
